- vexingmodstwo, on 09/03/2008, -2/+16"In truth, Sarah Palin is the kind of employee virtually every enterprise seeks--the kind who gets things done. And Barack Obama is the kind of employee a company hires only when it's in the mood for taking a risk and willing to wager that the candidate's past performance isn't predictive of his future efforts."
EXACTLY.- diggFunction, on 09/03/2008, -0/+5And Barack Obama is the kind of employee a company hires when they need to reach their affirmative action quota.
Fixed it for ya

- BillE3, on 09/03/2008, -2/+12Affirmative action in action in this campaign.
- bluevillage, on 09/03/2008, -10/+3This article is *****. It says, for instance, that Obama stalled at lecturer at the U of Chicago. In fact, he was offered a tenured professorship, which he turned down. It became clear at this point that this article has an agenda.
- vexingmodstwo, on 09/03/2008, -2/+14Umm... that was the point MORON.
He has always turned down positions that would have actually led to some kind of accomplishment. OBAMA STALLED AT LECTURER BY CHOICE. - Stevanoski, on 09/03/2008, -1/+3"... he was offered a tenured professorship, which he turned down. ..." Affirmative action in action.

- BadgerDigger, on 09/04/2008, -0/+17What does it say when the presidential candidate from one party is being compared to the vice-presidential candidate from the other party? There are a lot of articles that do this and I like all the answers that I come up with. All I can say is that I hope it continues.
- bmcelrath, on 09/03/2008, -0/+15Obama was a Senator for 143 days before deciding he was experienced enough to be leader of the free world. Arrogance in the extreme.
Sarah Palin has had more experience governing, no question. - tasine, on 09/03/2008, -0/+12So right on target that it's painful. Great article. I can see why this guy is a headhunter!
- jb1965, on 09/03/2008, -0/+9BULL'S EYE!
- InRussetShadows, on 09/03/2008, -0/+7Eloquence does not equal action. For the left, talking about something, however, is all that matters. Obama is skin-deep, as their appreciation for him is based on similarly superficial observations. Oooh! He can talk purdy. Oooh! He's (partially) black!
- ebwhitey, on 09/03/2008, -6/+0What is with all these comparisons between Palin and Obama? Clearly Obama is much more qualified for any political position. That is why he is the nominee of the democratic party and a senator of Illinois. What we really should be examining are the two presidential candidates along with their decisions on a running mate. When you compare Biden and Palin it is clear which one of them has the edge if they were to be running against each other, and this exemplifies the better, more pragmatic, decision making by Obama, for the betterment of the country, than that by MaCain.
- chuuch, on 09/03/2008, -0/+5But then by your own logic when you compare Obama and McCain it is clear that McCain wins hands down on experience. Not that experience is everything. And yes, I am ignoring your argument that her selection was a poor choice by McCain.
