Both left and right pile on Obama
msnbc.msn.com — U.S. presidential candidates historically steer to the political middle once nominated, but Democrat Barack Obama's unabashed appeal to centrist American voters has further opened the door to Republican claims his message of change only applies to the positions he has taken in the past.

Obama's veer to the Right since securing the Primaries with the support of the Left is fooling no one. It's a stupid and reckless move that is being used by his Republican opponents to debunk his image as a new kind of politician. Obama was untouchable until he shot himself in the foot with this strategy. This is a losing strategy. Don't blame the left when Obama loses the election against the bumbling and incompetent McCain. All Obama had to do was to stick to his principles and listen to his core, but instead he's decided to abandon his core and his principles.- Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -3/+6assuming he had any principles to begin with....
- MarkEarhart, on 07/05/2008, -5/+14Assuming we have an election, it really doesn't make a damn to me what Obama says or what McCain says or what Hillary says if she meant what I think she meant when she made the reference to RFK. All three are equally corrupt and I refuse to vote for any of them. All belong to the CFR, so thier goals and their puppetmasters are the same. I will have to have a serious change of heart before I will vote for anyone of either party ever again.
- Erich100, on 07/05/2008, -4/+11This article is a classic example of the media redirecting the issue.
Obama has shown himself to be a neo-con since he secured the nomination. That's the real issue.
This article wants to explain that it's perfectly reasonable for Obama to move toward the center as a political tactic, not a flip flop on issues.
Are the Church of Obama followers going to see through this or are they going to continue with their blind faith? God help us.
