Five Reasons Why Hillary Clinton Should Be Obama's VP
infiniteregress.tv — I know a lot of people don't like it ... but the main reasons are she can help him win by a landslide, as VP she can't do any harm, and she earned it by coming in such a close second in the primaries

- Cfahooligan, on 06/28/2008, -0/+2I can't agree to it. She did a lot of harm and does not deserve to be rewarded with VP. I am glad she is working to make up for all the things she said and did on the trail, but in no means can she be VP. Her vote for the war in Iraq goes against his message of change. Edwards is out for that very reason. Her assassination remarks. Her repeating that all Obama is is a walking speech and that she and McCain are the ones with experience. That should have had her expelled from the democratic party. To praise and honor a psychotic republican who switched every core value he has to appease the conservatives while you throw your own under the bus. Bullying Nancy Pelosi and DNC by having her supporters and financial backers threaten to withhold donating to the DNC. Threating to sue Texas for being a half caucus state. Threating to bully the American people with her health care plan that intended to garnish wages of those who didn't get on board. Threatening to Obliterate Iran without even talking to them. The 3 am ad that was not only fear mongering at it's greatest, but also bigoted to the 6 to 8 million Muslim American who live in this country. The accusations of media bias and sexism making it impossible to ask her any real questions about her faux history and past with scandals and corruption. Her scandals and corruption that had the republicans foaming at the mouth to her to be the nominee. Her lies on NAFTA, Bringing world peace to Northern Ireland, and blatantly lying about Bosnia. And last but not least Bill Clinton. His attitude and cry baby attitude now that he is no longer the "black president" and has lost his power and stature. He embarrassed himself and now blames Obama for it. And his blatant disregard for Obama because his wife lost. Not to mention the many lies he told on the campaign trail, and his injection of race and other ridiculous things he got away with on the campaign trail.
The list goes on an on. But these are all serious issues that will not only get in the way, but tank Obama if she is his running mate. She represents everything he stands against. And while they are united and she is campaigning for Obama, this is her penance. She has to make up for what she has done. She isn't even sorry for anything, she is just doing this to make sure she doesn't have a ruined career. But I can accept that because it's good to see her gravel and unwittingly unite this party. And she will have to make Bill go along with it when he doesn't want to either. We can't forget or excuse anything that Bill and Hillary have done. And I for one and not about to let them. But as long as they stay in line rally the party together. No VP slot, but some sort of cabinet position out of the lime light is good enough for someone who should be kicked out of the party and disgraced as a democrat for the things she said and done.- yazheirx, on 06/28/2008, -0/+2I dugg this article in hopes that people would read your post. HRC as the VP only condones her bad behavior.
Pick some one that will actually help bring change. Or someone that will make for a good international ambassador. Bush 41 may not have been a good president but as VP he help to make great strides into China, encouraging them to lessen some if their human abuse policies. (Though you can argue that China is still horrible it is hard to disagree with the statement that they have improved)

- ethornquist, on 06/29/2008, -0/+1It is an interesting idea. Not sure I agree with it. Could Hilary have the grace to keep herself in check?
The Democratic Party would unite well behind the two of them, but the problems would come once Obama-Clinton
reaches the White House.
How about a good old fashioned veep who shuns the spotlight? How about Obama chosing Dick Cheney?
