McCain sure didn't, he is playing too nice and it may cost him the election if he's not careful.- danillum, on 10/05/2008, -7/+6McCain playing too nice! Are you serious? God you're ***** stupid...
- irisheyes1169, on 10/05/2008, -4/+6And you sound like a dumb ass foreigner who should be more concerned about your own ***** hole country instead of an election that you cant even vote in.
- SAR2009, on 10/06/2008, -0/+5Dani - do you always write while staring into a mirror ‽ ‽ ‽ ‽
- buckpower, on 10/05/2008, -3/+3For real. Why can't McCain lie as good as his running mate? OMG is something wrong with him?
- SAR2009, on 10/06/2008, -0/+6Unfortunately, he always has. With the exception of his willingness to exterminate the barbaric koranimals of the 7th Century cult of the rabid dog, he is more a dimocrap than a Republican, much less a conservative. Don't forget, if jumpin' jimmy jeffords had not beat him to it, he would have become an "independent" Senator in 2001 in order to help his buddies on the "other side" of the aisle. Actually, when he speaks of "reaching across the aisle," I visualize him stretching over from teddy the Hutt's lap to stab the Republicans in the back.

Ayers is not Obama's pal. Read the NY Times article for yourself. Palin obviously did not.
From the NY Times article: "A review of records of the schools project and interviews with a dozen people who know both men, suggest that Mr. Obama, 47, has played down his contacts with Mr. Ayers, 63. But the two men do not appear to have been close. Nor has Mr. Obama ever expressed sympathy for the radical views and actions of Mr. Ayers, whom he has called “somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago, when I was 8.”
And Obama is not a radical leftist. Also in the NY Times article, from a McCain supporter: "“I saw no evidence of a radical streak, either overt or covert, when we were together at Harvard Law School,” said Bradford A. Berenson, who worked on the Harvard Law Review with Mr. Obama and who served as associate White House counsel under President Bush. Mr. Berenson, who is backing Mr. McCain, described his fellow student as “a pragmatic liberal” whose moderation frustrated others at the law review whose views were much farther to the left."
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/04/us/politics/04ay ...- crombenevolant, on 10/05/2008, -4/+6Go watch the interview that Barrack did with Bill OReily. OReily asks him about Ayers and Obama both confirmed that he knew him and had worked with him on numerous occasions and had even been to his house. He said the Ayers he knew was a good man who had done something horrible a long time ago.
Regardless of what the NY Times says, I am going to hold the actual words of Obama as a more accurate source .- cquinnd, on 10/05/2008, -2/+2You might try holding the meaning behind those words to the same degree.
- AgainstObama, on 10/05/2008, -4/+4Right, because the NYT isn't in the can for Obama either. Look at the facts about Obama and Ayers instead of some puff-piece.
- TRMarchesano, on 10/05/2008, -3/+2We'll pray for you Cindy, it seems your really stupid....

- onthetrail, on 10/05/2008, -8/+8Some people that make fun of Palin need to get a clue what really is going on?
Do some of you Pundits read anything except Huffington and the New york Times?
Palin is a clear winner on the issues as is John MCcain! To vote for Obama is the
wrong vote!- buckpower, on 10/05/2008, -0/+1Are we talking about that lady that couldn't even tell us what the Bush Doctrine is, name a supreme court case, or name one periodical she reads? That lady? The one that won't STFU about Joe Sixpack? The one that won't stop that phony folksiness and who insists on winking at me like a waitress at a waffle house shakin' her old ass for a tip? LOL!
- wopbobaloobop, on 10/05/2008, -6/+7Look out for the mccain campaign retards to flood the comment sections of sites like digg with the lowest of the lowdown libels and slurs and smears for the next four weeks. Won't work though.
- jperson, on 10/05/2008, -3/+2They all seem to not notice the 8-to-1 ratio of Obama supporters here. http://digg.com/elections
- lajaw, on 10/05/2008, -0/+1I friend(ed) Alan Keyes. His pic won't show up in the candidates section of my profile. Is this Digg bias against this man?
- buckpower, on 10/05/2008, -1/+1Seems like the more they try, the higher Obama's leads go! I say pull out all the stops, McRetards!

- BillE3, on 10/05/2008, -7/+5Biden and Obama continue to lie because you can not handle the truth.
- buckpower, on 10/05/2008, -0/+1LOL. Palin/McStain are the liars. They haven't said one true thing in months.
- bobfell, on 10/05/2008, -4/+7If McCain and Co. wanna talk about past associations why dont we talk about Charles Keating. This is someone who McCain vacationed with, took favors from and palled around on his yacht for his birthday not just did community service with. This is someone who participated in setting the previous record ('til just last week) for the most costly taxpayer bailout history.
Glass houses are a bitch when stones start flying...
If you have the stones to throw them...
or the lack of class, morals and straight talk!!!- buckpower, on 10/05/2008, -1/+1Yes, every time we respond to this *****, don't forget to throw in the keating 5! SHuts 'em up every time!
Hahahahaha! - flip2trip, on 10/06/2008, -0/+2Keating 5, Keating 5, Keating 5--You guys are a bunch of morons of the highest order. McCain and Glenn were completely exonerated, in fact the investigating attorney (a Democrat) wanted the charges dropped against McCain because there was NO EVIDENCE against him.
Also, when the Keating controversy started, McCain dropped ALL ties to Keating and returned the contributions Keating had made to McCain's campaign.

- zippe, on 10/05/2008, -1/+3wait, this story and comment thread are being sarcastic, right?
right????? - paintgrl, on 10/06/2008, -0/+1Does anybody know anything about John McCain's participation in the U.S. Council for World Freedom? Just heard this today on Meet the Press. The group had associations with Nazi Groups and people pushing racist and anti-Semitic agendas. In a quick search, I've found McCain's name is listed in the 1986 directory of directors and advisers.
I just wonder since you guys are up on terrorist associations. :P - rockynroll69, on 10/06/2008, -1/+0
See Governer Sarah Palin's warm welcome message to AIP, her and her husband's lunatic fringe seccessionist political party, here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBHjUiKCtI4
See incriminating video footage from an AIP membership meeting in which a high-ranking AIP officer names Sarah Palin as a past (and quite possibly current) proud member of AIP here:
http://mudflats.wordpress.com/2008/09/08/palin-rep ...
(Vice Chairman of AIP Dexter Clark's mentions of Palin begin at about 6:00 in the 9:14 minute-long video. Contained in that last 3.5 minutes is some really kooky stuff... like infiltrating the government through bogus membership in mainstream parties, such as Republican-in-name-only.) - rockynroll69, on 10/06/2008, -0/+0Obama supporter to Ms. Palin: "Our opponent (and her husband) though is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough that she is palling around with and/or being a member of the lunatic fringe secessionist Alaskan Independence Party (AIP), who despise their own county and strive to, ultimately, secede from America by any means necessary." McCain + Palin = McPain!
