Greg Palast, BBC - Theft of the 2008 Election
youtube.com — "If the final count is as close as the polls indicate, then the next man in that house won't be chosen by counting the votes, but by blocking the voters." And he didn't even mention the technical problems associated with voting machines... just plain old disenfranchisement and voter registration purges.

- paintgrl, on 10/12/2008, -1/+32One of the best videos on vote stealing I have seen. It really brings home the reality of what is going on. Please watch it.
- EarlOfLade, on 10/12/2008, -1/+11This is just another example of how horrible the US political system is.
As a Norwegian citizen, I gain the right to vote when I turn 18 and no matter where I live or how I live, unless I have lost the right to vote due to either treason or voter fraud and as a result of a trial, nobody can stop me from voting. No registration is need, no information about which party you support. All you have to do, is to show up on election day with your voter card (sent to you a couple of months prior to the elections) and if you have lost the card or never received it, go to a polling station, show your ID and vote. It will then be controlled against who has voted to make sure you haven't tried to vote twice and if everything turns out OK, the vote is counted.
USA is worse than most third world countries when it comes to elections and every US election should be under international control due to rampant fraud.

- MediaWeasel, on 10/12/2008, -1/+27This has to be one of the dirtiest crimes the Republican administration is involved in - stealing elections and using whatever means they can to disenfranchise legitimate voters. Everyone knew the last two elections were stolen - and now this one is at risk.
They're very keen to inflict their brand of "democracy" abroad but they're denying the faintest shadow of democracy to Americans. Obscene violation of voter rights. - johnnr2, on 10/12/2008, -2/+20Help to get out the vote!

- gihudson, on 10/13/2008, -6/+0In a growing voter-registration scandal, the heat is on a left-leaning advocacy group now facing multiple investigations over questionable voter registration forms in several states.CORN is officially nonpartisan but works to recruit low-income voters, who tend to lean Democratic, and has been accused by Republicans of acting to boost Democrat Barack Obama. ACORN officals have said they fired workers linked to possible fraud.
CNN reported that while an ACORN subsidiary was paid $800,000 by Obama’s campaign to register primary voters, and ACORN’s political wing endorsed Obama in February, Obama’s campaign says it “is committed to protecting the integrity of the voting process” and is no longer working with ACORN.
FBI spokeswoman Bridget Patton said this week the FBI has been in contact with elections officials about potential voter fraud and plans to investigate.

- schkura, on 10/13/2008, -0/+3I think this election is a reaction to an alarm going off after years of hitting the snooze.
- swrostmore, on 10/13/2008, -2/+2RFK Jr. reminds me of Seinfeld in this video.
- ciaran036, on 10/13/2008, -4/+4Like it matters. Either way, Obama or McCain, they will continue to allow the global econonomic collapse, the introduction of marshal law and more staged terror or conflicts. Not because they are evil, because they are mere puppets being run by completely different people. Each Presidential Candidate has hundreds of specially chosen advisers, many whom collude with the media and globalist bankers in the agenda for world government and single global currency in order to enslave the global population.
- moliver21, on 10/13/2008, -2/+3I am voting for Obama/Biden and I approve this Digg.
- foxhaze, on 10/13/2008, -0/+2Polls are pretty much BS. But by all means, do continue complaining.
- JeffersonTrust, on 10/13/2008, -0/+6Greg Palast is a sharp guy, but "why worry over a few hairs when the entire head is cut off"?-Stalin
They stole the whole damn country right out from under us literally when the bailout bill was signed. America as we have known it is gone completely, some just haven't given up the illusion yet. - borez, on 10/14/2008, -0/+4America is a total joke at the moment
- Veok, on 10/14/2008, -0/+2All I know is that if most major media outlets post Obama as having higher poll numbers and exit polls confirm with this, yet McCain / Palin win by the slimmest of margins, mark my words-- Fingers will be pointed and hell will be raised.
- StarThrower2, on 10/17/2008, -0/+1I should HOPE some hell will be raised if Veok's scenario plays out! I still haven't forgiven Kerry and the other Dems for giving up with hardly a word when Bush, Rove, Katherine Harris, et al literally, openly STOLE the 2000 election right from under their/our noses.
I think -- I HOPE -- that if the Republicants try -- much less succeed -- to steal this election, that Obama and Biden and ALL their supporters will raise enough hell that the issue will never be let go!
