Hilarious - Mike Huckabee on Saturday Night Live watch!
youtube.com — Huckabee shows a self-deprecating sense of humor about the mathematical impossibility of him winning the Republican nomination

- Charlotte_Web, on 02/24/2008, -1/+3I think it also has to do with Digg's internal scoring of the users digging the story.

- woohalladoobop, on 02/25/2008, -0/+3Well we could, but it would take a miracle.

- Sulleric, on 02/24/2008, -16/+6He can be a guest on every comedy show in the world and read off pre-written scripts all day long, he still doesn't believe in evolution and he still wants to replace the bill of rights with the ten commandments.
- sv650touring, on 02/24/2008, -0/+10All scripts are pre-written. Also, the guy might be an asshat of a politician, but he just made me laugh more than entire episodes of SNL have - which I think is the point of this being on digg.
- Charlotte_Web, on 02/24/2008, -3/+4When did he say that he wanted to replace the Bill of Rights with the Ten Commandments? Citation, please.
- mordeci, on 02/25/2008, -1/+3http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Huckabee_at_Falwells ...
"There are only 10 basic laws that we need … the reason that the law is more complicated is because we try to find clever ways around those 10."
He wants to replace all of our laws with the 10 suggestments, thereby legalizing rape, kidnapping, blackmail, insider trading, treason, speeding, bigamy, drug dealing, grand theft auto, grand theft auto - vice city, petite theft auto, littering and any rebroadcast, reproduction, or other use of the pictures and accounts of this game without the express written consent of Major League Baseball.
On the bright side, we'll finally be able to throw all those pesky coveters in jail.- ayeroxor, on 02/25/2008, -0/+2so you think the 10 commandments allow all that, but you and your 3 diggers don't think coveting is involved in any of them? Why would you even try to flap your retard hands all over your keyboard if you in fact have so little knowledge of what the hell you're talking about? You must be a teenager. I'm guessing around 15 years old. That's around the age when you start to pretend you're cool by slamming religion, but you're still not that into reading so you don't have a chance in hell of knowing what you're talking about. Let's see what you think would be allowed by 10 commandments, and how you're often obviously wrong to anybody who has actually read these 10 long, difficult-to-comprehend rules that some day, you just might stagger through...
legalizing rape - WRONG - "don't desire things which are not yours (covet), don't commit adultery"
kidnapping - WRONG - "don't steal, and don't covet"
blackmail - WRONG - "don't lie/deceive. If you would tell something normally, don't not tell it (deceive others) just because you get money (covet)"
insider trading - WRONG - "don't deceive, and don't covet money"
treason - INTENTIONALLY VAGUE - treason is complicated. sometimes governments are evil, murderous dictatorships and treason is morally good. you'd have to be more specific.
speeding - WRONG - breaking the law and thinking you can get away with it because no cops will see it is deception. "Don't deceive."
bigamy - WRONG - This is adultery. "Thou shalt not commit adultery"
drug dealing - VAGUE - hard drugs kill "Don't commit murder" - I don't think Jesus would have a problem with pot.
grand theft auto, grand theft auto - vice city, petite theft auto, - WRONG - are you stupid? There's a commandment that says don't steal.
littering - WRONG - see speeding.
any rebroadcast, reproduction, or other use of the pictures and accounts of this game without the express written consent of Major League Baseball. - WRONG - see theft.
I do enjoy a debate with an informed debater. But I enjoyed it this time too.

- 5urr3al5am, on 02/25/2008, -1/+1ahh actually.. most of comedy is timing and delivery.... though you do need some good jokes... not saying he's some great comedian.. but that WAS what made that funny...
- pastasauce, on 02/24/2008, -3/+4And it was a lot better than the sketches with Juno in it. Did they only see the first ten minutes of that movie?
- robotabot, on 02/25/2008, -2/+1i wish that was all i'd seen :(

- stockjones, on 02/25/2008, -0/+1Yeah this was one of the better SNL's in a long time.

- crowbar77, on 02/24/2008, -0/+30It was down in the subway for 25 days and survived by joining an underground hip hop crew. (not kidding, I watched it)
- trevdawg5, on 02/24/2008, -0/+1On the getting worse front, looks like we got some company in the form of CAVE CREATURESS

- xMedic, on 02/24/2008, -6/+12It was found dead.
- haiduz, on 02/24/2008, -70/+16Huckabee wants to get rid of the IRS, he's just as much of a bible thumper, and also has absolutely no chace to win. How come none of the "republican" Paultards arent flocking to him?
- trogdor282, on 02/24/2008, -3/+31Because they disagree on every single issue other than the two you mentioned?
- haiduz, on 02/24/2008, -6/+1that's why i put republican in quotes
- SRSco, on 02/24/2008, -7/+4Yet 8 in 10 Ron Paul supporters love Kucinich...even though they differ on almost everything.
Let's just realize Ron Paul fans are clueless.- Akronos, on 02/24/2008, -2/+2Yes, we are clueless because we appreciate an honest politician. Look, I'm still trying to find out where I stand in the whole individualist vs. collectivist battle, and I'm leaning towards individualism, but that doesn't mean I don't like Kucinich.
- diespectra, on 02/25/2008, -1/+2***** you Frank. Just because some Ron Paul supporters like Kucinich does not mean that they agree with his political stances or are clueless.
- Qtip42, on 02/24/2008, -17/+15because he's a neocon just like the others.....mr. obamatard.
- Spottswood, on 02/24/2008, -1/+5he's not a neocon. the neocons are very few in number. its only under the bush administration that they managed to get a candidate to represent them who could unite their interests with those of the religious right, who huckabee now represents. if you hate neocons you should be thankful as hell that huckabee ran in this race because his candidacy divided the union between the warmongering neoconservatives and the born again social conservatives. Those are the two strongest demographics of bush's support base, he's stolen one of them from mccain. In my opinion he's a legend, and he's also a really clever funny guy... just not president material
- gofalcons, on 02/25/2008, -0/+0Anyone who believes our wars of conquest in Iraq, Afghanistan or our occupations in places like Kosovo and Somalia were not only necissary, but "had to be done" is a neocon. That's one of the main principles of neoconservatives, continuing war.
In my opinion he's a legend, and he's also a really clever funny guy... just not president material
- guybrush58, on 02/24/2008, -2/+9Because he took the "End the IRS" from Ron Paul, if you look at earlier debates you see them laughing at Paul for talking about the Constitution and the IRS,
- Spottswood, on 02/24/2008, -0/+3but atleast he was actually listening to Paul and realised the value in the idea, as opposed to billionaire asshat romney who just loves his regressive tax system and mccain who's economically illiterate.
- haiduz, on 02/24/2008, -0/+5I am sure that he was against ending the IRS all along, but after participating in the debates and listen to paul he suddenly changed his mind and decided that its a good idea to get rid of one of the biggest government programs.
/s
how delusional do you people have to be to take yourself seriously
- rizzo2008, on 02/25/2008, -1/+2He is a bit too religious but I am absolutely 100% for his plan to eliminate the IRS. Granted I would rather replace it with nothing like Paul I still think a consumption tax is much more reasonable than a tax on income that belongs to you in the first place.
- gofalcons, on 02/25/2008, -0/+0No, the "fair" tax is just an attempt to end the debate by replacing an illegal tax with one that was made legal. It's not gonna help anything, just shift it from your money being taken to you having to spend the same amount of money as you would have had taken from you anyway.
- trogdor282, on 02/24/2008, -3/+31Because they disagree on every single issue other than the two you mentioned?
- kalleanka, on 02/24/2008, -15/+230If this was an election for being a funny politician he would have my vote.
- iiBeLiEvE, on 02/24/2008, -0/+13Wait a minute, it's not? Must rescind my vote for Hilary!
- piccols8, on 02/24/2008, -10/+3I actually think that needs to be considered in ones vote. Honestly, personality is a big factor in choosing a president, and it makes me real sad that Huckabee is out of it...
- sv650touring, on 02/24/2008, -0/+11I dunno bout that. I've seen old videos of our current president at parties and such and he seemed really cool. I don't think he's done a good job as president though.
- lotsa1s, on 02/24/2008, -0/+3I love my friends to death, they're all very nice and friendly and chill and have got me through hard times.
I'd help them clean the blood off and hide the body, but so help me god If they were on the ballot there is not a chance in hell I'm gonna vote for any of them.
- lotsa1s, on 02/24/2008, -0/+3I love my friends to death, they're all very nice and friendly and chill and have got me through hard times.
- SirTezzy, on 02/24/2008, -9/+5It makes me really happy Huckabee is OUT. He is a bad man. If anything, he deserves to be in a church, and nowhere near a position of power.
- Alpione, on 02/24/2008, -4/+7He's a "bad man?" Other than you just disagreeing with his political stances, what makes him a bad person?
- nicholai, on 02/26/2008, -0/+2His support for both the "war on terror" and "war on drugs". I still think he would have been better than McCain but they are both neocons.
- 5urr3al5am, on 02/25/2008, -3/+4Yeah.. if you disagree with someone they are 'bad'.. man talk about shallow
- VSLOATHE, on 02/25/2008, -3/+4He used his positions of power in the past to get those close to him out of trouble. His political career is fraught with corruption. His son lynched a dog and he told the police commish not to press charges. The commish did his job and pressed, huckleberry had him fired. He is a bad man and the poster boy for abuse of power. That he calls himself a Christian, I find disgusting.
- nicholai, on 02/26/2008, -0/+1Why do you hate America?
- Alpione, on 02/24/2008, -4/+7He's a "bad man?" Other than you just disagreeing with his political stances, what makes him a bad person?
- greenblob, on 02/25/2008, -0/+3The bad thing about political jokes is that they always get elected.
- sv650touring, on 02/24/2008, -0/+11I dunno bout that. I've seen old videos of our current president at parties and such and he seemed really cool. I don't think he's done a good job as president though.
- CaBaLLeRo, on 02/24/2008, -5/+3If this was an election for being a funny politician Stephen Colbert would be president!!!
- PoopOnPaul, on 02/24/2008, -3/+2Conan > Colbert
- mrASSMAN, on 02/24/2008, -0/+2Conan didn't run for president..

- PoopOnPaul, on 02/24/2008, -3/+2Conan > Colbert
- Akronos, on 02/24/2008, -0/+4Guiliani would have had my vote for being the greatest parody... of himself.

- Nimsim, on 02/24/2008, -3/+12Wow, you're really useless
- adventchild08, on 02/24/2008, -1/+5In all seriousness, I wouldn't have clicked on this link without the inclusion of the word.
- littleBear84, on 02/24/2008, -15/+147Wow... watching this actually turned around my negative view of him somewhat. I need to know a candidate is a real person and not just a poster board for their ideals. Good video.
- sunyata76, on 02/24/2008, -6/+24Same here-- I couldn't see John McCain doing something like this.
- sgtbutterscotch, on 02/24/2008, -0/+9He used to, I'm not sure if he still does, appear every now and then on Conan in a skit involving him drinking and exposing little known secrets.
- maronnax, on 02/24/2008, -0/+7McCain's hosted SNL before, in October of 2002. The one bit I remember is a sketch where he played a pretty funny stoner art teacher at a high school. Also, videos of him singing Barbara Streisand songs ("She's been trying to do my job for 20 years; now I'm going to try and do hers!") are floating around youtube, which I believe also come from that same performance.
- gypsi, on 02/24/2008, -1/+3ah the young and ignorant. like maron said - mccain hosted an entire episode of snl - and also did a "secrets" bit on conan.
- SillyDigger, on 02/25/2008, -0/+1http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTD7FP1mAYk
- Grok22, on 02/24/2008, -0/+4Mccain used to be on the daily show all the time.
- kinseyincanada, on 02/24/2008, -0/+2McCain has, theres a clip of him on Conan thats pretty funny/
- amishterrarium, on 02/24/2008, -0/+48I wish I didn't disagree with his politics as much as I do, because I love his sense of humor.
- gypsi, on 02/24/2008, -1/+16good thing we don't elect government for the funnies
- elnerdo, on 02/24/2008, -3/+16Actually, we do.
- amishterrarium, on 02/24/2008, -0/+17Just not intentionally.
- elnerdo, on 02/24/2008, -3/+16Actually, we do.
- darkwing81, on 02/24/2008, -1/+5i get so sick of people taking politics so personally. I think everyone running for prez is a good person except maybe hillary
- philiaC, on 02/25/2008, -1/+1Or... did we?
Duh duh duh......
- gypsi, on 02/24/2008, -1/+16good thing we don't elect government for the funnies
- HHP2K, on 02/24/2008, -1/+7Sadly, that's all he has now.
- jgreene777, on 02/24/2008, -2/+30Huckabee has done LOTS of things like this. He's a normal guy, with flaws, and he's not trying to slick himself up before the cameras go on. As an example of his "normal guy" state, when he was governor and the governor's mansion needed renovated, he lived in a mobile home on the mansion's lot instead of renting out the most expensive suite in Little Rock... just trying to save a few bucks. Folks will say he raised taxes and spent a lot of money as governor, but those items all went to vote first and the voters in the state wanted those taxes and expenditures.
- solis365, on 02/24/2008, -4/+11yeah. and then you remember that thing he said about changing the constitution to be more in line with the Ten Commandments...
- mrbro, on 02/25/2008, -1/+5Maybe he was going for teh lulz but nobody figured
- brettmurf, on 02/25/2008, -0/+3Five through ten are pretty okay, but those are kind of into our legal system at this point. Unfortunately, I think he follows all ten to the word. I guess we just have to enjoy him on Colbert/Conan/SNL and ignore his actual presidential campaign part. Then he seems okay.
- SuperCUBE, on 02/24/2008, -0/+9It does show some integrity, doesn't it? Good for him.
- bwdd, on 02/24/2008, -2/+5But he still wants the constitution to confirm to the bible.
- mal1964, on 02/25/2008, -0/+1Oh, it wasn't that funny then.
- 955701, on 02/24/2008, -5/+3Scary that you would base your predisposition for voting for him on something as insubstantial as his personality. That allows for charismatic evil bastards to get in as poli.... oh, too late!
- littleBear84, on 02/24/2008, -0/+2I don't necessarily agree that personality is insubstantial. I agree that there are greater figures of merit on which to base judgment of a political figure, but I wouldn't place personality among the ranks of secondary criteria. The way a person acts may be a more honest assessment of his goals than his own stated ideals. All politicians make promises and profess to this belief or that one, but I think it's the way they act when placed out of their element that reveals their true nature.
Besides, I only said that it "somewhat" reversed my negative views. I'll at least consciously try to not be completely persuaded by a video on YouTube. - mal1964, on 02/25/2008, -0/+1Not This , " charismatic". This , "evil bastards"
- littleBear84, on 02/24/2008, -0/+2I don't necessarily agree that personality is insubstantial. People like a ***** moron as long as he can act like a nice moron.- addrake, on 02/25/2008, -0/+4And people hate a ***** ***** because people who disagree with them are all "morons"
- thebrawl, on 02/24/2008, -6/+4AWw, you diggers are so impressionable. It's almost cute.
- mal1964, on 02/25/2008, -1/+1I picked that up about him when he did the pheasant and voting thing, most on digg took that the wrong way, my quote "He has a sense of humor, and talks like a real person that doesn't script whats coming out of his mouth. I'm probably not voting for him but its not because of that. I'm surprised he got a bird after the safety pin problem, lol"
- sunyata76, on 02/24/2008, -6/+24Same here-- I couldn't see John McCain doing something like this.
- orelses, on 02/24/2008, -24/+2Its sad how obvious the who show was pro clinton. Piss poor writing as well for this show.
- sjkln, on 02/24/2008, -0/+5The "who" show, as in "Horton Hears a Who", is in theaters on March 14th. You didn't need to stay up late last night after all.
- actionmann50, on 02/24/2008, -2/+8Live from what state it's Saturday night?
There's your Clinton. It was previously pro-Giuliani. Imagine that.- gypsi, on 02/24/2008, -1/+4digg fails at geography
- nonymous666, on 02/25/2008, -0/+2The whole show? The only poltics in the hour and a half was the opening bit and then weekend update.
The opening bit was pro Obama and made fun of Clinton.
The only thing pro-Clinton was Tina Fey's little rant during weekend update. And although I don't like Mrs Clinton, what Tina said made me laugh and I agreed that she had a good point.
- asurroca, on 02/24/2008, -9/+168Huckabee looks like the kind of guy you could have a beer with. Of course, we know what happened the last time we elected someone using that as the only prerequisite.... Still, I like the guy...he's just bad at being a politician, and I disagree with almost every piece of his platform. Someone give the poor guy a talk show or something when he finally has to quit the race...
- thejude, on 02/24/2008, -3/+11Do Southern Baptists drink beer?
- jgreene777, on 02/24/2008, -7/+8Yes, they just don't tell anyone or drink with people they go to church with.
- dafragsta, on 02/24/2008, -1/+2Don't know why you are getting buried. It's absolutely true.
- jgreene777, on 02/24/2008, -7/+8Yes, they just don't tell anyone or drink with people they go to church with.
- RevJonathan, on 02/24/2008, -1/+14Ironically, Obama polls extremely well as someone you grab a beer with.
That's a phrase you won't be hearing the Obama camp utter during the general election.- Kyan, on 02/24/2008, -0/+41Meanwhile, Hillary's the one that makes people want to have a beer by themselves with the blinds drawn.
- elint6, on 02/25/2008, -1/+1That's because Obama doesn't yell for his Iced Teas.
/s [for the dim of wit] - HigherLogic, on 02/25/2008, -0/+3I kinda picture Obama as someone I'd have a 40 with, like a King Cobra or Old E. Toss in a Black 'n Mild and we're good to go.
- jgreene777, on 02/24/2008, -4/+5We NEED someone to be President that is a person first and NOT a politician. Politicians are why we are in the mess we are now.
- crowbar77, on 02/24/2008, -2/+15err no. Bush was a "person first" candidate and look where that got us.
- SuperCUBE, on 02/24/2008, -0/+9Then please explain to me why only the rich can run for office.
- quiksliver, on 02/24/2008, -0/+2Mitt Romney was the richest one in the race and he came off as a total douche and fail'd, mccain's campaign has been hemorrhaging money for months, same with hilar. Obama was only modestly wealthy before the race and most of his donations come from individual people giving him 10 bucks
so wtf are you talking about? - CatcherInTheWhy, on 02/24/2008, -0/+1I think the problem is that even Obama was "modestly wealthy". You shouldn't have to go to Harvard Law or Business School to be the President.
- adrenaline33, on 02/25/2008, -1/+1If you aren't motivated to learn enough by graduate school to go to a good school, I don't think you are going to have a great chance to be president.
- quiksliver, on 02/25/2008, -0/+1he got into harard because of a scholarship, his family was fairly middle class before harvard. when I said "modestly wealthy" I mean before he ran for president, not growing up
- quiksliver, on 02/24/2008, -0/+2Mitt Romney was the richest one in the race and he came off as a total douche and fail'd, mccain's campaign has been hemorrhaging money for months, same with hilar. Obama was only modestly wealthy before the race and most of his donations come from individual people giving him 10 bucks
- JohnboiWaltune, on 02/24/2008, -0/+6Nah, McCain will give him the VP slot to woo religious conservatives
- MaximusD, on 02/24/2008, -0/+4I'd let him play bass in my band or something. I had a dream that he was just hanging around my garage, and he offered me a cigarette. Parliament Lights. Bizarre dream. But yeah -- I'd never vote for the guy.
- lukemandese, on 02/25/2008, -1/+1Way to copy Bill Maher jerk.
- thejude, on 02/24/2008, -3/+11Do Southern Baptists drink beer?
- WootZoot, on 02/24/2008, -4/+284I don't like the man as a politician, but damn it all if I can't admire a guy who can laugh at himself.
- jgreene777, on 02/24/2008, -4/+7think about that... we need fewer politicians.
- Spottswood, on 02/24/2008, -1/+2very well said
- p4r4d0x, on 02/25/2008, -0/+1That's the reason GWB Jr got in - he's a moron but he's got a decent sense of humor.
- ziptnf, on 02/24/2008, -25/+2Uh oh.
I was really counting on those superdelegates. - hakz, on 02/24/2008, -30/+7I didn't really find it funny...
- np374, on 02/24/2008, -24/+8I'm glad Fey went for Hillary at the end, all this Obama support is reminding me of the Ron Paul cult.
- thelastcivilian, on 02/24/2008, -0/+6...lest the electorate becomes inspired.
- laofmoonster, on 02/24/2008, -25/+3Governor Mike Huckabee! *applause*
...
Governor Mike Huckabee! - Superperson, on 02/24/2008, -14/+100He rocks out on bass and appears on SNL. If he wasn't a Bible-thumping wackjob, he'd have my vote. As I've said before, he's an extremely charming crackpot.
- febryle, on 02/24/2008, -5/+2So bass-playing and comedy timing make a good president? I nominate Harry Shearer (Derek Smalls) for president!
- MindTrigger, on 02/24/2008, -2/+6Yes, that wasn't a very good comment. I hope SNL and Bass Guitar aren't really that high up on your political requirements How much do you know about his stance on real issues? Not trying to mess with you, just making a point. People need to be more careful about who they vote for.
- source1984, on 02/25/2008, -1/+5Exactly what is wrong with giving people too much power. You get people deciding their leader not based on morals, no, but based on how well he plays a musical instrument and whether or not he appears on a t.v. show.
- theghoul, on 02/24/2008, -3/+15Good skit.
Its good to see he has a sense of humor about all of this. - Lar5, on 02/24/2008, -13/+8The Huck would be a disaster as president, but he could have a real future as talk show host.
I expected them to go with that he doesn't believe in math, just like evolution. But this was also funny. - jm4847, on 02/24/2008, -8/+18lmao that was hillarious.
Good to see those lazy writers back to work.- gypsi, on 02/24/2008, -2/+9if this is what we've been waiting for, they should have found another way to make a living
- kije, on 02/24/2008, -2/+32Here he is playing Freebird. http://youtube.com/watch?v=SkeflmkFCj0
- yellowsnowcone, on 02/24/2008, -6/+5well that was awful
- Nidy1, on 02/24/2008, -1/+17If there was ever an obvious rickroll spot, that was it. I'm glad I clicked it anyway.
- foxymcfox, on 02/25/2008, -1/+3Imagine seeing that when you tune in to watch the state of the union.
- tgunner, on 02/24/2008, -17/+3If it was not for changing the constitution to be more in line with god's will (yes, lower case g in god), and the stance on the iraq war, then Huckabee would have my vote.
- Photog, on 02/24/2008, -15/+26"Hilarious" is Waaaaaaaaay too strong a word to be used here.
- iammii, on 02/25/2008, -0/+0I would have to say that was the first thought that came to my mind. Especially since I knew he could be funnier. Look up the video of his appearance on the Daily Show. He appeared much sharper with his sense of humor there.
- WetCrimson, on 02/25/2008, -0/+0I agree totally. The entire show was just "ehhh" for me. At least Huckabee can laugh at himself.
- yellowsnowcone, on 02/24/2008, -4/+60wow ... he's got great comedic timing.
- fugazied, on 02/25/2008, -1/+1Better timing than Seth on a few lines, he might be a natural.
- sunyata76, on 02/24/2008, -11/+6I could have sworn I heard him call himself "My Cuckabee"
- Rocketbird, on 02/25/2008, -1/+1Because that makes sense.
- frogsgowhoyah, on 02/24/2008, -9/+15If he wasn't so crazy, he would be awesome. Damn shame.
- jerryterhorst, on 02/24/2008, -4/+31he seems like a really genuine person, but he just isnt made out to be a politician. his beliefs are too extreme for him to be in charge of telling others what to do, but, i must agree, he seems like a really cool guy (*especially* for a politician).
- wastedlife, on 02/24/2008, -0/+8I think huckabee is a cool guy, eh goes on snl and doesn't afraid of anything
- LeadOffMan, on 02/24/2008, -0/+2extreme beliefs? like what?
- jerryterhorst, on 02/24/2008, -1/+6let's see:
he thinks the constitution should be updated to be more "christian-like"
"let's take this nation back for christ"
he has vocalized his opposition to the separation of church and state
he said homosexuals with AIDS should be quarantined and then said it was the "belief at the time", which was never true
he thinks women should submit to their husbands
he apparently thinks miracles and the hand of god are real, because he frequently cites them (one of the reasons he's still in the race)
he's a creationist and denies the theory of evolution, and wants the former taught in schools
theres probably more but is that enough?- lotsa1s, on 02/24/2008, -2/+3Its strange how the ***** insane ones are usually the most friendly. A lot of my friends are just as crazy as him, just in differant directions.
I'd love to hang out with Huckabee and just jam with him on guitar, but I wont vote for him. I wouldn't vote for my best friend, and I've known that insane ***** since I was 4.- jerryterhorst, on 02/25/2008, -1/+1well, they have to have *something* redeeming about them. if it isnt their beliefs, it has to be their personality i guess?
- LeadOffMan, on 02/25/2008, -0/+1those may seem "extreme" to you, but the vast majority of the US population agree with him. So maybe you are the one who is "extreme" - extremely wrong that is
- lotsa1s, on 02/24/2008, -2/+3Its strange how the ***** insane ones are usually the most friendly. A lot of my friends are just as crazy as him, just in differant directions.
- jerryterhorst, on 02/24/2008, -1/+6let's see:
- drizzlelicious, on 02/25/2008, -2/+1"he seems like a really genuine person, but he just isnt made out to be a politician. his beliefs are too extreme for him to be in charge of telling others what to do"
*cough*Ron Paul*cough*
- Servebot, on 02/24/2008, -10/+22SNL is still running?
- concretewave, on 02/24/2008, -1/+2SNL is a computer program designed to make us think we're watching something funny. Unfortunately, there was a registry error sometime in the early 90s that has slowly deteriorated the main server. It's never been the same.
- cambob76, on 02/24/2008, -2/+60CNN made it sound like Mike not leaving wasn't part of the skit. Stupidheads.
- dotbacher, on 02/24/2008, -5/+3I wish the cue cards were over the other guy's shoulder. It's awkward that they have to look a the camera for their lines.
- anti_hax0r, on 02/24/2008, -0/+1That's all part of SNL's "charm" don't you know?
- Aroundtheworls, on 02/24/2008, -1/+117Amazingly enough, the Associated Press didn't get the joke: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080224/ap_on_el_pr/hu ...
- fancyj, on 02/24/2008, -1/+46Wow. That's kind of sad.
- andymci, on 02/24/2008, -1/+29I'd actually consider it to be *very* sad. Poor AP has no sense of humour.
- insomniacal, on 02/24/2008, -0/+41What kind of idiot reporter doesn't get the humor of a man poking fun at himself? It was a well-scripted moment, evident from Huckabee's departing line.
- seanthebond, on 02/24/2008, -0/+8Wow.. Talk about political bias against Huckabee.
- Drax0n, on 02/25/2008, -0/+8Wow I had to check to see if you were talling the truth.. if reporters are that incompetent... it goes to explain just how 25% of the US still think Iraq was behind 9/11...
- theRIAA, on 02/25/2008, -0/+7should we... do something about this?
- macwac, on 02/25/2008, -1/+3i wrote an e-mail to AP about it.. im not a huckabee supporter, but i want the news that i receive to be factual and not written by a moron. Btw I like RP =)
- Nekiruhs, on 02/25/2008, -1/+3"Someone is WRONG on the internet!"
/xkcd - birdly, on 02/25/2008, -0/+3I'm glad this reporter wasn't around during "War of the Worlds".....
- fancyj, on 02/24/2008, -1/+46Wow. That's kind of sad.
- realjames, on 02/24/2008, -5/+12Is he making fun of Hillary?
- ifjake, on 02/24/2008, -1/+2yeah i was wondering that myself. it was a very subtle jibe if any
- Rocketbird, on 02/25/2008, -0/+4It seemed that way to me, with the superdelegates thing.
- vade79, on 02/24/2008, -11/+8I like how Tina Fey was pumping up Hillary later on in the show. Like I would listen to the lady I (partially) blame for ruining SNL.
- 47f0, on 02/24/2008, -7/+46You can't dislike the guy. I can't vote for him, because I don't want my Constitution to read like the Old Testament, and because I'd like my grandkids to learn actual science in school - but hey, the next time I put some ribs in the smoker, Mike's invited.
- Nanellen, on 02/24/2008, -2/+13Mike Huckabee never tried to change the way kids learn science when his kids went to public school. It's not part of his agenda. Neither is trying to force his religious beliefs on other people. If you ask what he believes, he'll tell you. Straight up. No dodges. But if you don't want to know, he won't push it on you. Bogus attack job.
- frascellyboy273, on 02/24/2008, -8/+1you know this kind of stuff on youtube is why the writers strike was started in the first place...
- gypsi, on 02/24/2008, -0/+5well, now they get a percentage of getting zero piece of the action. attention hollywood - get a clue
- toastgodsupreme, on 02/24/2008, -19/+4I just can't watch it. It's ALMOST as bad as watching Bush speak. The sheer ignorance that has spewed from that man's mouth just infuriates me.
- 4ster, on 02/24/2008, -4/+3Yeah, that guy is hilarious...I still like his campaign trail joke about how his family was so poor growing up that they only had one bar of Lava soap in the house, which means that he didn't learn until college that showering wasn't supposed to hurt...Lava soap is meant to cut through engine grease
- fuzzynyanko, on 02/24/2008, -4/+28They need to replace Seth and Tina with Huckabee.
- TheKarmaPolice, on 02/24/2008, -1/+4no they don't. they need to replace seth and amy with huckabee.
then amy could have the funniest babies ever with will arnett in her time off. - Nanellen, on 02/24/2008, -0/+3The news media would start covering SNL as though it was straight news. Give them a break. It's too hard for them to figure out what's real and what's being done for laughs.
- TheKarmaPolice, on 02/24/2008, -1/+4no they don't. they need to replace seth and amy with huckabee.
- nates, on 02/24/2008, -13/+4Replace "Math" with "Science" you can understand why it's so dangerous to have such an ignorant man in the White House.
- platypibri, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1*yawn* Funny how having several creationists presidents hasn't ruined the country. Y'know, Lincoln freed the slaves on religious principles. Whatever the atheist equivalent of a yuppie is, you're it.
- Jem7vwh, on 02/24/2008, -9/+0They are all losers this time around get use to it with obama and hilary leading the pack!
- ATLien74, on 02/24/2008, -6/+8"I'm more of a miracle guy." Classic. :-) Oh Huck, you seem like a pretty nice guy with a great since of humor, and the conan/stewart/colbert feud over who made you was the best moment in tv during the writers strike... but it ain't enough to make me want to vote for you.
- admiral202, on 02/24/2008, -2/+0He reminds me of the real version of John Locke off Lost...
- gypsi, on 02/24/2008, -0/+2:-/
- catachip, on 02/24/2008, -0/+1Have you ever watched Lost? Or, do you just mean his face?
- AlienMushroom, on 02/24/2008, -0/+3err, i think u r lost somewhere...
- skyshock1, on 02/24/2008, -3/+34Humility in the highest degree. That was awesome. He's like the Anti-Romney.
- OGla, on 02/24/2008, -21/+7I heard Hitler was pretty funny too. Not that it has anything to do with this or so. But that's what I heard.
- insomniacal, on 02/24/2008, -3/+11Obama's pretty funny too. So was Stalin. And did I mention Jeffrey Dahmer's sense of humor?
Buried you for false association. Anyone can play that weasel game. - elTito, on 02/24/2008, -2/+2Buried for general doucebaggery.
"zOmG he doesn't think like me HITLER HITLER /drool" - haiduz, on 02/24/2008, -0/+3I heard godwin was pretty funny too. Not that it has anything to do with this or so. But that's what I heard.
- darlingt, on 02/25/2008, -0/+2Or, for those of you dense enough to not get that, haiduz invoked Godwin's Law. OGla mentioned Hitler, therefore, OGla loses the argument.
- insomniacal, on 02/24/2008, -3/+11Obama's pretty funny too. So was Stalin. And did I mention Jeffrey Dahmer's sense of humor?
- daebat, on 02/24/2008, -1/+0that was so funny :)
- catachip, on 02/24/2008, -1/+4I'm not sure I would call anything on SNL in the last decade "hilarious" (aside from a few of their Digital Shorts).
- tehbored, on 02/24/2008, -0/+1Punched!
- jetblackz4, on 02/24/2008, -2/+6Huckabee was funnier then Tina Fey last night.
