Hillary was right: You can't trust Obama with your guns.
gunbanobama.com — In an April 2008 campaign mailer, Hillary Clinton warned voters about Barack Obama's radical record against guns and gun owners. The teaser asked, "Where does Barack Obama really stand on guns?" The other side of the mailer then answered, "Depends on who Barack Obama is talking to."

- buddywlkr3, on 10/11/2008, -19/+26This is a very good ad. Obama has been very slippery on this issue as he has been on all others. Knowing that gun control and gun bans is a very unpopular position to hold, he conceals it by stating that he believes that individuals have a 2d Amendment right to own guns, but believes that the Government has the right to impose "reasonable" restrictions. When you look at his record and individual statements, you find that he is very anti-gun and would work to ban guns in homes.
In April 2008, he endorsed a complete ban on handguns in Illinois. In October 2006, he railed on keeping guns out of the inner cities, and endorsed the Washington, DC ban on owning handguns. He wants to ban all semi-automatic guns and impose greater restrictions on possession of guns. He voted NO on prohibiting lawsuits against gun manufacturers. (Jul 2005)
Obama is truly a stealth candidate, hiding his positions to convince voters that he is their man no matter what they believe in. In fact, he is the most anti-gun candidate we have seen, and his vice-President pick, Joe Biden, holds similar positions. - LoneRanger85, on 10/11/2008, -22/+17He's a liberal Democrat. Why even give him the benefit of the doubt on this issue? These people march in lockstep.
- ozel01, on 10/11/2008, -11/+17Well folks, it seems it isn't going to matter. Every time McCain begins to get some momentum going he blows another hole in the boat. Anyone see his Minnesota performance today? The crowd was BOOING him for his inability to attack Obama over his shady relationships, saying that Obama is a "decent man." He just as well to have threw a grenade right smack dab in the middle of his campaign. He has until the last debate to get some offense going or I will be voting Constitution Party.
- SAR2009, on 10/11/2008, -16/+10The ∅bamadouche supports firearms owners like ahmadinejad supports Israel.
It is the height of irony that a gun-grabber like shrillary would suggest this as a reason to support her, though. On a continuum, she is only slightly above the empty suit and McAmnesty only slightly above her. None of them support the 2nd Amendment. But it is funny to see her speak the truth . . . I suppose if one lives long enough, it is possible to see almost anything, even a truthful statement from a clinton. Mind you, I'll not hold my breath waiting for another pig to fly (without a plane that is . . . I know rosie o'porker and mikey blimp are in the air a lot). - BillE3, on 10/11/2008, -12/+3Hillary does not support the 2nd amendment rights any more than Obama does. She was just pandering for votes from idiots to dumb to know better.
- chosenson, on 10/12/2008, -1/+9And who is going to believe this drivel?? Only the haters. Buried for its prime stupidity!
- jimchap, on 10/12/2008, -0/+3an appeal to stupidity.
I think it's McCain tactic - let's get the stupids
