- suzycarpenter, on 10/07/2008, -20/+7The press needs to tone down it's biased rhetoric.
- aussiejan, on 10/08/2008, -0/+4What is biased about reporting (remember that?) that people at these rallies are shouting "kill him", "terrorist" and "treason" about Obama? Or that Palin and McCain seem to condone this behaviour. It seems to me the press is starting to do their jobs which is to report the news. If you aren't bothered by this, well I won't presume to call you a racist but I'm at a loss to understand why any reasonable person wouldn't be bothered by this or would call the press "biased" for reporting it.
- whoreable, on 10/08/2008, -0/+2I have family up in MO. I am not surprised at how narrow minded you are. They are the same way.
- TruthinessHurts, on 10/08/2008, -0/+1From the sounds of it McCain and Palin need to tone down their terrorist rhetoric.
It's sad that you pretend this is about the media, when it's about what is coming out of McCain and Palin's mouths.
I guess it's that desperate Republican need to avoid all responsibility for their words or actions.
That's right, right wing shill, when McCain or Palin say the wrong thing it's the fault of the press.
It's amazing how McCain supporters are part of the problem rather than the solution.
You think that it's the PRESS's fault that McCain and Palin are inciting violence?
Doesn't that strike you as ridiculous?
Are you able to see that blaming the press for the words of someone else is asinine and part of the problem?
- jdarkling, on 10/07/2008, -8/+20Ruh Roh, the media pissed McCain off by daring to report facts, ask tough questions and focus on *shock* the ECONOMY! How dare they do their jobs... finally! How dare they turn on the man who fed them doughnuts are barbeque! I guess having insults and hate speech shouted at you makes a difference. Now they know how Obama and his supporters feel...
- FullClip, on 10/07/2008, -19/+7Awww.... Reminds me of a Rev. Write sermon...
- charm803, on 10/07/2008, -1/+3You definitely remind me of Rev. Reed Moore.
- TruthinessHurts, on 10/08/2008, -0/+1LOL
So in your Republican brain McCain inciting violence is fine, but a black man getting upset at the treatment of blacks by whites is wrong?
WOW.
This is a great example of right wing hypocrisy and racism. Thanks for illustrating right wing character.
This is also a great example of how white Republicans have absolved themselves of what happens to blacks under GOP policies.
- tcbishop12, on 10/07/2008, -7/+22McCain and Palin are certainly winning over the key homicidal socio-psychopathic demographic.
- gobber, on 10/07/2008, -18/+6Wow, the press does not like the fact that they are getting booed at a rally. Maybe if they stop hiding behind the "unbiased" screen and admit to who they are, they would not have this problem. Then again who can blame lazy reports who take the Kos and Huffington Post as gospel without checking the facts.
- TruthinessHurts, on 10/08/2008, -0/+1SO that's your defense of the GOP assault on the press and transparency?
Hey, I don't blame you for shilling for scum. You want to win for them, and are willing to trade your morals and ethics for it.
That's right, it's the fault of the press that the GOP is hiding from them, not the fact that McCain is a failure.
Keep repeating that.
- TruthinessHurts, on 10/08/2008, -0/+1SO that's your defense of the GOP assault on the press and transparency?
- MadKennyP, on 10/07/2008, -6/+19You call those who shout "sit down, boy" and "kill him" at Palin and McCain rally ignorant racists who vote on the basis of someone's name or false accusations of terrorist connections or a Muslim background.
McCain and Palin call them their base. - authorfriendly, on 10/07/2008, -3/+13its getting dangerous in our democracy, good thing we got social media to keep it rollin
- lawyernerd, on 10/07/2008, -6/+17McCain-Palin have finally found their base--Hitler Youth.
- insist09, on 10/07/2008, -4/+9The only voters left for the Palin/McCain ticket to appeal to are the uneducated morons the rest of us would never associate with any way. You know what I mean gosh darn it? *wink*
- reddikilowatt, on 10/08/2008, -2/+8I remember back in 2000 thinking "How the hell can we (the Republicans) nominate George 2 over McCain?" Now I have a pretty good idea why we didn't. When McCain keeps his mouth shut, he makes a lot of sense. It is only after he opens it does it all break down.
- SifuMoKung, on 10/08/2008, -1/+6Welcome to Nuremberg. Shout a slogan of hate, get a free Jesus bumper-sticker.
- whoreable, on 10/08/2008, -2/+2Old white people who are angry? Who would have thought.
- Airforcefalco, on 10/08/2008, -4/+1I recall people cheering Obama for sneezing.
- Airforcefalco, on 10/08/2008, -0/+1http://www.swamppolitics.com/news/politics/blog/20 ...
- bluefieldgreens, on 10/08/2008, -0/+4This is just wrong on all levels for McCain's campaign to allow such comments to be stated, screamed and to continue in their crowds. The have a responsibility to STOP it and say that's now what this is about!
- socialfly, on 10/08/2008, -0/+5To repeat my comment in a similar Digg - In the present climate in America, there is a real danger of mob violence erupting. Palin is a loose cannon, and who could say how things could develop. The media should be aware, and react responsibly. Something bad could come of this.
- FlaG8r, on 10/08/2008, -1/+1How dare the press expect Gov. Palin to be able to name a single publication she's read or string together coherent sentences!
