How Sarah Palin Nearly Bankrupted Her Small Town
dailykos.com — As mayor, she pushed for the construction of a $15 million sports arena in a town of 6,000. She couldn't get the land to build it on, so she tried to sue the land owner, and lost. Ultimately, it cost the city millions to settle the case. The city is still paying for this today, having to cut services and increase fees.

It just sounds like a pretty slow start to me. We need a vice president who can step in if, God forbid, something happened to John McCain. Citing the fact that she was the mayor of Wasilla 2 years ago in her list of “executive experience” doesn’t even pass the giggle test in Alaska. Palin does have many supporters here in the state, but even many of them are doubting whether she can cut it in the Veep slot. Truth is McCain is very old and in poor health, so the VP he picks is very important. Now, after McCain runs the ad saying Obama didn't pick Hillary, then he picks a woman? I'm not saying women are unqualified for civil positions, but this woman was clearly unqualified for everything she's done already, she's already broken Peter's Principle. So move your slow witted elephant ass out.
