How an AMERICAblog reader asked John and Sarah real question

americablog.com — An AMERICAblog reader was having lunch in Albuquerque, New Mexico today, when who should drop in for a substance-less photo opp? John McCain and Sarah Palin. And you'll be surprised to know that when both of them were asked polite but substantive questions by our reader, they refused to answer.

  • Jazzman86, on 09/08/2008, -0/+3I'm amazed at how these two seem to refuse to answer any question that they can't just spew out the same old spiel for. This guy asked what I think were legitimate questions and McCain and Palin basically refused to acknowledge him. How is this allowed to happen?

Charlie Gibson won't do it for us, and they won't volunteer the answers. If anyone knows of a way to get in front of the candidates do it, an ask them about troopergate, the GI bill, A woman's right to choose, separation of church and state, McCain's flip flopping, the AIP, etc. etc. McCain loves Town Hall meetings!
