But Obama supporters need to remember that as long as California is fairly close, Obama is still in a really strong position to win the nomination even if he loses the state. He's got more money and more momentum and things should get easier for him in the contests that follow Feb.5. All he really needs to do is come out of Feb.5 with a roughly even delegate count. That said, it would be great to see him finish this early with a win in California.
