McCain Lies: "Troopergate Investigation Found No Wrongdoing"
thinkprogress.org — The report stated unequivocally that “Sarah Palin abused her power” by violating a statute of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act. On Fox News Sunday this morning, campaign manager Rick Davis claimed the investigation absolved Palin of any wrongdoing.

Palin=Guilty On Ethic Violation's!
Tell the Truth! - jackieblu, on 10/12/2008, -1/+16That's their spin, how lame! Palin was found guilty of abusing her power, and could be impeached. Unbelievable - what liars these people are!

- paintgrl, on 10/12/2008, -1/+14Ah yes Rick Davis, he is so reliable.. Umm he was the guy who was still getting cash from Fannie and Freddy to get access to McCain just what 3 months ago.
I am surprised McCain let him on T.V.
Well I hope the people of Alaska are not fooled by this spin, and impeach Gov.Palin. - freedomjoe, on 10/12/2008, -1/+7Should we start laughing whenever they open their mouths? McCain.Pailin': making history one ethics violation/lie at a time.
Rick Davis is insane. He is not dealing with a full deck. And neither is Palin. In her defense, I heard someone "briefed" her on the findings of her ethics violation. And while the rest of us who can read read the "guilty of violating state law" part, since she has to be read TO, perhaps she isn't to blame. Ha ha. Not seriously. Anyone who knowingly incites violence questioning a sitting Senator's character and patriotism, insinuating he is a traitor, does not deserve to even run for Mayor, let alone VP. She is an embarrassment to these United States. Go back to Alaska. LIAR.
GOP= LIARS (If you spot one of these delusional fringe elements running around claiming the sky is yellow, call mental health WAHHHH mbulance right away) - SSPink, on 10/12/2008, -1/+2The Branchflower Report: "For the reasons explained in section IV of this report, I find that Governor Sarah Palin abused her power by violating Alaska Statute 39.52.110(a) of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act."
- Arishia, on 10/12/2008, -1/+2Rick Davis is obsessed with Ayers. Palin is obsessed with Wooten. None of them seem to be able to tell the truth, even when it is right there in all our faces. So much dysfunction. Obama is the logical reassuring one that offers solutions and truthfulness. Who would have thunk it a year ago??
- tcbishop12, on 10/12/2008, -1/+2Palin twice spoke to reporters about the findings of the Troopergate investigative report. "Well, I’m very very pleased to be cleared of any legal wrongdoing," Palin said. That's just not the case, and Palin's lie does not become truth by reason of multiplied propagation. The report finds Palin knowingly violated AS 39.52.110(a) of the Ethics Act.
- ThsGuyRightHere, on 10/13/2008, -0/+1What's funny is, regardless of how many laws of man she broke, according to her own beliefs she'll be judged by a higher power anyways.
- ThsGuyRightHere, on 10/13/2008, -1/+2Anyone with a semi-functioning sense of morality can see that what she did was wrong. I find it odd that someone who claims to be so religious can operate in such a moral vacuum where she thinks she was right to do something so petty.
- MoneyTutor, on 10/13/2008, -1/+2The finding of guilty for abusing her power is adequate grounds for disqualification as VP and I don't care how they spin it. The Senate will not appoint anyone to a cabinet if they have been found guilty of such a violation. The same rule would obviously apply to a VP nominee. McCain can't afford the hit of firing her this close to the election but the American people knows that this is a result of not doing his job and adequately vetting her before she was nominated. This is pure mockery.
