      Considering this country voted George W in for 2 terms a lot of us are concerned. So you'll excuse us if we digg stories that point her inexperience out as well as point out that things she is touting as experience are merely titles that actually didn't give her any experience. McCain's vetting process should have found these items and he should never have introduced us to her. We were all fine with her being in charge of under a million people and that's where it should stay.

      you are just seeing the reaction of thousands of people when an extreme Right political theory is applied with constant pressure for 8 years straight with absolutely zero apologies and total hubris.

      what people tend to forget is that these web 2.0 sites weren't even created until Bush was already in office, so of course they will seem "extremely Liberal" at this point, because Mr. Bush has pissed off a lot of people.

      the truth is, assuming that 100% of the Diggers who hate Bush will love Obama is completely false, as is assuming all Republicans will hate Obama. this is an overly simplistic way of looking at things, which rarely if ever reflects reality when looking back. it sounds good on TV and on the Net however, it gets people fired up and pissed off enough to register accounts and type long winded comments (such as this one), and that is good for business when you are selling ads on your web page or prime time TV show.

      what do you think these comment pages would have looked like 10 years ago, or 20, or 50?

      you will see the pendulum swing the other way once a Democrat is in office, i promise.

She's under investigation for blackmailing state employees who were not loyal enough to her. She tried to censor the books available at Wasilla Public Library when she was mayor there.

        I think it's safe to assume that she would want to push her agenda as president. Tax money spent on religious groups, religion-based education policies, overturning Roe vs. Wade...the whole point of being president is to push an agenda based on how you think the country should be run. Her agenda is based on extreme right-wing and christian values.

The act gave Bush the power to use the state's national guard if he deemed it necessary. Other than that exception, Palin was the same commander-in-chief that she was before. Whether or not that position was meaningful experience is another debate, but the act didn't infringe upon her duties as the article wants to believe.

    There's an enormous number of valid things to criticize about Palin, why the ***** would ***** decide that distortions are necessary to get their point across? And people wonder why liberal blogs aren't taken seriously when something important comes up.

    How large could their National Guard be? Alaska has a tiny population.

    I would wager that the New York City Police Commissioner has a force that is at least as large, and no one would brag about that as experience of being "commander in chief".

    The Presidential election was too close to call. Neither the Republican candidate nor the Democratic candidate had enough votes to win.. There was much talk about ballot recounting, court challenges, etc., but a week-long ice fishing competition seemed the sportsmanlike way to settle things. The candidate that caught the most fish at the end of the week would win the election.

    Therefore, it was decided that there should be an ice fishing contest between the two candidates to determine the winner.

    After much of back and forth discussion, it was decided that the contest take place on a remote frozen lake in northern Minnesota.

    There were to be no observers present, and both men were to be sent out separately on this isolated lake and return at 5 P.M. with their catch for counting and verification by a team of neutral parties. At the end of the fi rst day, John Mc. returned to the starting line and he had ten fish.

    Soon, Obama returned and had no fish. Well, everyone assumed he was just having another 'bad hair' day or something and hopefully, he would catch up the next day.

    At the end of the 2nd day John Mc. came in with 20 fish and Obama came in again with none.

    That evening, Harry Reid got together secretly with Obama and said, 'Obama, I think John Mc. is a low-life, cheatin' son-of-a-gun. I want you to go out tomorrow and don't even bother with fishing. Just spy on him and see just how he is cheating.'

    The next night (after John Mc. returns with 50 fish),Harry Reid said to Obama, 'Well, tell me, how is John Mc. cheating?'

    Obama replied, 'Harry, you're not going to believe this, but he's cutting holes in the ice.'

    The Pied Piper has suckered all you retards. For shame, for shame.
