Paul: Fox News is 'scared of me'
boston.com — PLAISTOW, N.H. -- Ron Paul said the decision to exclude him from a debate on Fox News Sunday the weekend before the New Hampshire Primary is proof that the network "is scared" of him. "They are scared of me and don't want my message to get out, but it will," Paul said in an interview at a diner here.

- rocket777, on 12/29/2007, -1/+28I don't think this matters much, Ron has been on so much TV lately, that anyone who tunes in and sees only the other idiots will likely wonder, "Where's that other guy, you know, the only one that makes sense and doesn't seem like a Bush Clone" and then they'll just look for something interesting to watch. Ron is the only excitement on the Republican side.
- WilliamDavis, on 12/29/2007, -0/+7The appearance no longer matters, but it does matter that Paul called them out as war propagandists. Balls. Balls, I say, to publicly call them what they are.

- amistybleu, on 12/29/2007, -0/+4Ron Paul is a proponent of civil disobedience as we must have an avenue to voice our displeasure with Government, MSM, and any other groups that distort and destroy the free republic we are supposed to live in.

- SwordofKahless, on 12/29/2007, -0/+14They are scared of his message and changes it might bring if people become aware of it if he wins any of the primaries. They are taking their best course of action to retain their hold on big government and pushing their globalist agenda by supporting thier candidates and smearing Paul and suppressing his message.

- richmomz, on 12/29/2007, -0/+5Dear Fox,
Fools - this will only add fuel to the Ron Paul movement. Ron Paul has raised more money than any other Republican candidate, has won most of the open-public polls (including several of your own), currently holds the record for the single highest fundraising day in U.S. political history and yet you still consider him a "2nd-tier" candidate? By what measure do you determine a candidate's viability I wonder?
Many of your critics have long held that Fox News is a shill for neoconservative interests and will ignore any viewpoint which does not support their own... you have just proven them to be correct. - capstone22, on 12/29/2007, -0/+5Most of us today either use cable boxes (Comcast, Cox, et al), or satellite T.V. boxes (DirecTV, Dish Network, etc) through which all of our television content is delivered. Most of this is digitized.
What we can do to send a message directly to Fox corporate, is simply block Fox, FX, and any/all local Fox affiliate channels from on our cable or satellite boxes. OR simply set up your box to only display your "favorite" networks, and channels, and exclude Fox from your list.
When you block a channel, or exclude it from your favorites, it will be temporarily deleted from your list of available channels. So, even when you channel-surf you wont even give Fox even a millisecond of ratings. (You can always reverse this, if you want.)
JUST BLOCK THEM OUT. GIVE THEM THE BOOT!!
Further, this information is known by your T.V. provider (Comcast, DirecTV, etc), and the information, in turn, is accessible by all networks when they get their ratings. They will see a HUGE jump of people tuning them out. They will ask questions. - GlassChimes, on 12/29/2007, -0/+3I'll be there with you in New Hampshire, Dr. Paul and I will be attending your rally opposite the Fox Forum. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!!
