Print Media Excel, TV Media Continue to Fail, in Fair Coverage of Ron Paul

paullevinson.blogspot.com — On the one hand, a fair, factual, and informative article in the New York Times today about Ron Paul ... on other hand, check out this video compilation of past and continuing misreporting of Ron Paul on TV ... although some TV reports are ok, why are they in general so biased in contrast to printed press, and the Internet?

  • ThinkBox, on 11/12/2007, -3/+3Sometimes I find it annoying that everyone relates the fact that lack of news about Ron Paul to be news about Ron Paul.

    Most of the [bad] RP submissions can be lumped into two categories....

    1. When Ron Paul is in the news - We see a Digg story about RON PAUL IN NEWS!
    -there is almost never a mention of what the article is actually about, its just that Ron Paul is actually on CNN/MSNBC/WASHINGTON POST, and on and on. - Please, title and describe what the news is, if Ron Paul is a part of it, taht is great, but just the fact that somebody says his name ≠ news.

    2. When Ron Paul ISN'T in the news - we see a Digg story about RON PAUL IGNORED IN MEDIA!
    - I understand RP doesn't get much attention in the media, and when he does, it is largely negative. This is something that we are aware of, as diggers, and for those that aren't aware that he is ignored, they also won't understand why. What I'm getting at is - if you are trying to show the way RP is neglected in the media, assemble clips, articles, and RP's stances and show how they are being consistently ignored. That way those who don't know can be educated, and those who do know are bombarded by the same old "non-news."

    Also, I am a RP supporter, so dont take these comments as a negative, but as constructive criticism toward helping to spread Ron Paul's name in a more positive and constructive manner.
