nolanchart.com — There is no question about it. Ron Paul absolutely smoked Rudolph Giuliani and Fred Thompson in Michigan, both for the second time.

  • Herkimer56, on 01/17/2008, -2/+3Fred Thompson has three times the number of delegates that Ron Paul has and neither Thompson nor Giuliani have yet to actively campaign. Congratulations, Ronbots, he's beating the two guys who have forfeited the early primaries. When you get to the states where they are actively campaigning Ron Paul drops quickly to sixth place and totally out of the race. Enjoy your moment, in a few weeks you'll be thinking of fifth place finishes as the good old days.

Is forfeiting successful fundraising part of the strategy too? If Giuliani looses in Florida, it won't really matter which place Ron Paul comes in, because Giuliani will be out of the race altogether. But hey...maybe forfeiting the race is part of his brilliant strategy too. Hey!...Maybe if he just talks about 9/11 some more.
