  • oconnor11, on 07/08/2008, -0/+3Yes, he's a doctor. Dr. Ron Paul also has another son who is a doctor. I believe Rand is an eye doctor. The other son is in internal medicine I think. And I think he has an ob/gyn daughter. And the other son also is very bright and I think starting to get into politics too. Dr. Ron Paul has 5 kids. I forgot what the other two do. Rand has done some speeches for his dad's campaign and they were very intelligent and down-to-earth. It would be nice to get someone in the presidency who knows something about the economy and how to stop line-their-pockets bureaucrats and pharmas from the health industrial complex from charging so much. He also is for killing the Federal Reserve which is killing our currency and the IRS. If the government can send out massive stimulus package checks (money borrowed from other nations and most likely already got spent on gas), then why can't it simply kill the income tax and allow the fruit of our labor to reinvigorate our own economy? It's because they don't care about us. I hope we get a bunch of Ron Paul Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Constitutionalists, and Libertarians in Congress this year. From what I hear, it's looking really good. And I think Rand may be short for Randall so it's not that unusual.
