What I have decided to do about the remaining election cycle
nolanchart.com — "People may be asking themselves why Ron is continuing his campaign after such a poor showing on Super Tuesday? Why would he bother? The reason is, that Ron Paul is seasoned and understands more about how elections work than the average citizen does. "

- mlirblur, on 02/08/2008, -4/+4I say it all the time myself. It's not the primaries, it's the delegates. The delegates, of course, are bound to the primaries, barring certain situations. It's those situations that could prove incredibly fruitful for Paul.
Things are going to get exciting in St. Paul. if there's a brokered convention. - bingobongony, on 02/08/2008, -5/+5There will be no brokered convention. and if there was, and Ron Paul's delegates tried to steal the election, there would be complete chaos. He would get DESTROYED.
Doesn't matter. McCain is gauranteed of getting the majority now.
It is HYSTERICAL that you all actually think that there will be a brokered convention (as if this is hte first time that it was "possible" this late...it isn't.) and that if it did that these delegates would be willing to go against the will of the people to elect someone who supposedly wants the bring democracy (the will of the people) back to the country. You DON'T see the hypocrisy in that? really? - theuniversal, on 02/08/2008, -2/+3It's good to fight for your cause. But when you start talking a bunch of nonsense, it gets hard for others to take you seriously. McCain will cross the delegate threshold. He's won.
