A volume limit for the iPod - but with a conceptual flaw?

apple.com — Apple has released a new firmware 1.1.1 for the iPod nano and 5th generation that introduces a sound limit. It seems that you could use that to anger iPod owners by lowering the volume and protecting that setting with a password. The respective KB explainer is not yet online, so this is just a guess...
