Mac’s Web footprint growing at Windows' expense
weblogs.baltimoresun.com — When Net Applications released its monthly traffic report earlier this week, many Web sites dutifully reported that Mac OS X ’s share of Web traffic had hit a high of 7.83 percent, with Windows slumping to a new low of 91.13 percent. Data for Apple’s Safari Web browser showed that it, too, hit a high of 6.25 percent in May.

- kelly, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1I can't digg this story enough... if only because they (unlike so many other analysts and thus "the people") clarify a distinction between market share and install base. The two are not the same.... especially when speaking of operating systems.
