Major UK store offers iPhone users CASH to switch to Samsung

mobiletoday.co.uk — Phones 4u has rolled out a new customer offer designed to convert upgrading users of the original iPhone towards the Samsung Tocco. The retailer is offering consumers £269 (over $500!!) cash back when they bring in their 2G iPhone and sign up for a new contract with a Tocco!

  • 4phun, on 07/23/2008, -0/+3I am surprised more phone companies haven't tried this. The original iPhone commands big bucks in some countries like China and Russia. Take their old iPhone and resell it abroad for more than you gave the new customer. Give them crap Samsung for free and sign them up to a new two year contract would be perfect for Sprint and Verizon to try in the USA too.
