- BlueStarr, on 10/27/2007, -0/+1I think the transparent menu bar is koo....whatever desktop wallpaper you use will give the menu bar a similar hue...a lot easier when customizing your Mac.
- AquaOSX, on 10/29/2007, -0/+1This menu bar is horrible design decision. Sure, it matches the desktop, but it looks tacky and is out of place in Word, Photoshop, etc. Moreover, it's not as legible as an opaque menu bar. It's cool for the sake of cool, not cool as the result of good design. This is on par with neon case lights and spinners. I have no problem with Apple dressing up interface elements, but they need to be smart about it. This is anything but smart.
- MarkJaquith, on 10/29/2007, -0/+1OpaqueMenuBar does not work reliably with dual monitors. It put the white strip on the wrong screen (the one WITHOUT the menu bar).
- robertabramski, on 10/31/2007, -0/+0Has anybody seen how to do this from the command line?
