newteevee.com — Boxee is an open source platform based on XBMC and is looking for alpha testers. Control your non-DRM'd movies, music, TV shows through a Mac or Linux box (Windows coming later) connected to your TV.

  • Gamester17, on 06/17/2008, -0/+1The platform its running on has no affect at all on how boxee will look and feel, only the skin has, (it is based on XBMC which has a very flexible skinning and GUI layout engine that enables you to make it look and behave radically different from one skin to a other if you want, and yes even the navigation is skinnable). Boxee alpha still only have one skin though.
