- lazylegs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2A more comprehensive list of open-source software for Mac OS X is available at http://nothickmanuals.info/doku.php?id=opensourcemac
- faentur, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2i'm using many of them now. It is a really cool list. I use some apps that did not make the list, but every user has his/her preferences. Good resource for new users (not like they would see it here anyways) :)

OpenOffice 2.0 requires X11 to run, so its not exactly native yet. They're workin' on it though. - sabarsky, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0open source software is your friend.

- laraksca, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Not sure if you can classify Acquisition as open-source. I happen to like it and have paid for it in it's infancy.
Don't forget to contribute to the projects you use a lot.
Also there is a very nice Bank Finance app named JGnash. It's Java based but I prefer it's abilities. Also has a server app for multi-user access to one account.

I used to run it when I first got my iBook, but when 10.4 came out, I went for spotlight instead because Quiksilver is a bit of a resource hog.

http://www.digitaldarknet.net/thelist/thelist.php - Falcon929, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I see most people here are all about it being "Mac only", but most of this software also has Windows versions and some even have Linux versions as well. Anyway, this is a good list of some great software no matter what you OS of choice may be. Digg +
