Respond To Elgin’s Pontification on iPhone’s Influence
equitygroups.com — I have no doubt that the iPhone will be very influential in future designs for desktop and laptops, but I don ’t think it will be in quite the way Mike is thinking. Many people probably don't even realize it, but the Wii GUI uses haptics. Most people don't know what it's called, other than knowing it "feels" right. You know that little vibration when you point over something you interact with? That's haptics!
