Steve Jobs Responds to Accusations of Dying (Photo)
gizmodo.com — After Bloomberg reported that Steve Jobs died, Steve Jobs responded with this message at his latest keynote.
- 3455 diggs
- digg it
- paulieslim, on 09/09/2008, -90/+36I hear Steve Jobs has AIDES.
- DanBoodro, on 09/10/2008, -17/+10not funny...
- DirkBelig, on 09/10/2008, -8/+13And a fail grade to DanBoodro for not getting the South Park reference.
- DanBoodro, on 09/10/2008, -6/+12I'm sorry, I don't watch TV for a living.
- paulieslim, on 09/10/2008, -0/+1yeah wise guy
and the other is spelled AIDS
- Joab, on 09/10/2008, -1/+67Of course he has aides. A man that rich and power must have lots of people helping him throughout the day.
- thescimitar, on 09/10/2008, -0/+63AIDES = gets you coffee
AIDS = gets you dead- skeletorcares, on 09/10/2008, -0/+2AIDS gets you dead if you don't have lots of money.
- kael13, on 09/11/2008, -0/+1This comment almost got me dead, choking and coughing like a loon right now :O
- ArmandoM, on 09/10/2008, -0/+3Shaking my head in disbelief...
- SilentRamble42, on 09/10/2008, -1/+3Yeah... I've seen that South Park too...

- muckraker62, on 09/10/2008, -8/+0My thoughts exactly.
- davidaod, on 09/10/2008, -0/+7As subtle as the Lambroghini, Mr. Wayne.
- beautifulbeast, on 09/09/2008, -16/+8Who's was that quote originally? Was it Groucho Marx?
- hansolo, on 09/10/2008, -0/+57Mark Twain
- ak4444, on 09/10/2008, -0/+6"James Ross Clemens, a cousin of mine, was seriously ill two or three weeks ago in London, but is well now.
The report of my illness grew out of his illness; the report of my death was an exaggeration."
Twain - 4rp4n3t, on 09/10/2008, -1/+12http://*****.com/search.pl?query=the+rep ...
- Telping, on 09/10/2008, -1/+1Thats brilliant
- Knowltey, on 09/10/2008, -1/+2Mark Twain and it was actually "The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated."
have been instead of are :P - dropacid, on 09/11/2008, -0/+0The quote if from the simpsons:
Season 19, Episode 14: Dial 'N' for Nerder
Original Air Date: 9 March 2008
One of Bart's pranks results in Martin's death, but Lisa doesn't want him to confess because she would be considered an accomplice. Marge hires a television crew to find out if Homer is cheating on his diet.
Martin says it when they discover he is still alive.
- clsslc, on 09/10/2008, -2/+286Dugg for Mark Twain.
"I never let my schooling interfere with my education."- Nairebis, on 09/10/2008, -7/+15They could of at least credited Twain with the quote. Tacky.
- davidlick, on 09/10/2008, -1/+2People should be able to catch it...
- Sawta, on 09/10/2008, -5/+1When a quote becomes that popular, citation is not always required, as it becomes expected for the common public to know where it came from. (i.e. Flying and the relation to Apocalypse Now's Ride of the Valkyries. Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gz3Cc7wlfkI&feature ... ) Of course this can become a problem where it goes un-cited for so long that newer generations no longer know what is being referenced, but that's what wikipedia is for.
- exomni, on 09/11/2008, -1/+1If you're at an Apple shareholders event, you're probably not stupid enough to not recognize this ridiculously popular and enormously well-known quote.
Maybe at an MS event.
- jperson, on 09/10/2008, -0/+31"Quitting smoking is easy! I've done it a thousand times." -- Mark Twain
- BrendanSheehan, on 09/13/2008, -0/+1There's no question about it, Twain must have been a genius.
- skeletorcares, on 09/10/2008, -12/+2I buried for mark twain/unoriginality.
- clsslc, on 09/11/2008, -1/+1In the programming world, we like to follow what we call the DRY principle (Don't Repeat Yourself). If we're going to write similar logic twice, we abstract it away. If we're performing a similar task regularly, we automate it. Similarly, if someone has already elegantly stated what we need to say in a presentation or paper or other medium of communication, we can simply reference their quotation rather than trying to reword it.
- theduckchaser, on 09/10/2008, -1/+4Too bad a lot of people are gonna attribute the quote to Jobs himself now, e.g., "I thought this was a pretty funny and creative way of responding"
- Nairebis, on 09/10/2008, -7/+15They could of at least credited Twain with the quote. Tacky.
- shattadeya, on 09/10/2008, -10/+71Did he lose weight again?
- Quick2822, on 09/10/2008, -15/+25Wow, really? You guys love Apple so much that you notice stuff like that about Dear Leader?
Interesting..- Zidul, on 09/10/2008, -2/+17this kinda ***** is important to shareholders - steve jobs = apple. he dies, apple dies.
- swern425, on 09/10/2008, -2/+10Any company's stock that hinges that much around one key person isn't worth buying to begin with. If he can't pick worthy people to take over when he is unable to run the company anymore, then I wouldn't go near that stock.
I can certainly understand Apple's stock taking a hit upon his death, but surely the rest of his team could bounce back without Apple's "death." - ajaxmil, on 09/10/2008, -1/+0dude, you don't have to love apple to notice. He looks like Hell. He is literally 15 pounds lighter than he was the last keynote presentation.
- Speed, on 09/10/2008, -0/+3swern425, unfortunately, Apple is screwed without him. They've kicked him out once before and came crawling back like little bitches while he just started his own company.
- se1zure, on 09/10/2008, -0/+3@swern
Except nearly EVERY buisness would take a large hit on their stock with the death of their CEO. - pjvandehaar, on 09/11/2008, -3/+0Its a birth defect related to being over-susceptible to clever marketing. I think it's informally called macophilia.
/throw in a boom - swern425, on 09/11/2008, -0/+2"I can certainly understand Apple's stock taking a hit upon his death..." - From my previous comment.
I realize any company's stock would take a hit upon a CEO's untimely death, but good succession plans should still be in place for any company should the CEO die, be jailed, suddenly retire, or anything else which would separate he or she from the company. If Jobs is as good a manager as people say he is, then he should be wise enough to pick people who are similarly creative. - munna80, on 09/11/2008, -1/+1All these comments and I bet none of you is a shareholder....but again, it relates to apple, so it makes you look smart...
Ok...I know...comment about to be buried in a few minutes...
- koob, on 09/10/2008, -0/+23Steve Jobs is a lot like his products. He just keeps getting thinner.
- dizam, on 09/10/2008, -1/+10Cancer sucks. Hope he'll fully recover.
- Speed, on 09/11/2008, -0/+5Ok, why the ***** is a guy being buried for wishing someone a full recovery? *****, I'm a PC guy and even I'm not that cold.
- ethana2, on 09/11/2008, -3/+0I didn't Digg him down, but in the long run, I do think Jobs' death would be better for the world in the long run.
- Quick2822, on 09/10/2008, -15/+25Wow, really? You guys love Apple so much that you notice stuff like that about Dear Leader?
- vilago, on 09/10/2008, -12/+4to be accused of dying: "hey you!.. you, over there! your dead!"
- postitnote, on 09/10/2008, -1/+15Bring out your dead!
- nethowler, on 09/10/2008, -0/+2Be nice to Fred!
- seabass10, on 09/11/2008, -0/+1Your wife's in my bed!
- DRC1, on 09/10/2008, -8/+7It's "you're dead", not "your dead"...gee
- Markpdotcom, on 09/10/2008, -5/+1I think you're wrong in this case.
As it would be "Bring out you are dead" for you're, rather than "Bring out your dead", as in bring out the dead members of your family.
I could be wrong though :) - rowjimmy, on 09/10/2008, -0/+2@mark - his grammar correction was to vilago, not postitnote, hence his replying directly under vilago's post, instead of in the tree beneath postitnote's.
- Markpdotcom, on 09/10/2008, -5/+1I think you're wrong in this case.
- alanr19, on 09/10/2008, -8/+2They said he was ill, they never "accused him of dying" or of being dead or anything like that.
FFS you fanboys forget the facts as soon as Jobs opens his mouth.- racekarl, on 09/10/2008, -0/+8Wrong. Bloomberg sent an obituary out over their wire service.
- scoot2006, on 09/10/2008, -0/+6Publishing someone's obituary implies certain things.
Here's a story containing the full text of the obituary they published:

- wezman2, on 09/10/2008, -1/+11Relevance?
- LeviTheSmith, on 09/10/2008, -0/+2Wooden Mallet > Wrench
- dizzythegreat, on 09/10/2008, -5/+8We should start a rumor that Palin's dead.
- LeviTheSmith, on 09/10/2008, -2/+2Palin actually IS dead. Trust me I have good sources stating she killed herself.
- wezman2, on 09/10/2008, -1/+11Relevance?

- snoonoo, on 09/10/2008, -3/+10Shirt wish I would take him you shopping.
- mrBitch, on 09/11/2008, -0/+1RE Steve Jobs and his turtlenecks, this would have to be the BEST explanation for his choice of wardrobe :
" BasicBlack at 04:47 PM on 09/09/08
He doesn't change turtlenecks. He changes bodies. The turtleneck hides the incision where he's attached to his newest host. "
- WickEd101, on 09/10/2008, -9/+1I wish he'd met me take him shirt shopping
- Albumen, on 09/10/2008, -0/+12A veritable cavalcade of typos!
- ThirdPrize, on 09/10/2008, -1/+27"shirt shopping", is that a euphemism for something?
- MonoDede, on 09/10/2008, -3/+4No. See the joke is that he always wear a long-sleeve black shirt, so there's little variety in what shirts he buys.
- dorkdork777, on 09/10/2008, -3/+8CAPTAIN OBVI... oh, screw it.
- skealoha86, on 09/10/2008, -1/+2That's not a funny joke at all.
- antdude, on 09/10/2008, -0/+4And not shoe shopping with Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld?
- dazparkour, on 09/10/2008, -2/+54I wish you would take him shirt shoping.
- Blasphemous88, on 09/10/2008, -15/+25That Jobs is one slick cat.
- alanr19, on 09/10/2008, -17/+6Why? Because he misused a quote from Mark Twain (Journalists said he was ill, not dead or dying)?
you numb-nuts.- Nothlit, on 09/10/2008, -1/+14Actually, you must have missed it. Bloomberg accidentally published a lengthy obituary of Steve Jobs back in August.
http://gawker.com/5042795/steve-jobss-obituary-as- ... - christor, on 09/10/2008, -0/+15Ready. Fire. Aim...
- Nothlit, on 09/10/2008, -1/+14Actually, you must have missed it. Bloomberg accidentally published a lengthy obituary of Steve Jobs back in August.
- jabberwolff, on 09/11/2008, -0/+0More like one annoying pussy!
- alanr19, on 09/10/2008, -17/+6Why? Because he misused a quote from Mark Twain (Journalists said he was ill, not dead or dying)?
- Disinterested, on 09/10/2008, -2/+51if he were to die i bet he'd be buried wearing those clothes.
I rarely see him wearing anything else- expertnot, on 09/10/2008, -1/+17Thats hip for his age.
- BlueDjinn, on 09/10/2008, -1/+20Funny, but really, if you think about it, what difference does it make what clothes you're wearing when you're buried? You're dead--it's not like it's uncomfortable.
On the other hand, what if I'm wrong? What if you're wandering around the afterlife for all eternity wearing those clothes? I don't want to wear a suit forever! Gimme jeans and a T-shirt after all!- antdude, on 09/10/2008, -0/+2Go naked!
- tehdan, on 09/10/2008, -8/+3You say you rarely see him wearing anything else... Does that imply that you regularly see him in order to make the judgement?
- jabberwolff, on 09/11/2008, -0/+2Imagine a closet.. with just jeans and black turtle necks.
- mrBitch, on 09/11/2008, -0/+1is that you jabberwolf? did your previous account get banned for reasons of sheer idiocy?
(although, to be fair, I did +1 you since your "imagine a closet" comment ain't bad). - exomni, on 09/11/2008, -0/+1This hasn't been said about a million times on every single Apple keynote digg submission.
- mrBitch, on 09/11/2008, -0/+1is that you jabberwolf? did your previous account get banned for reasons of sheer idiocy?
- borez, on 09/10/2008, -1/+31Death... nobody's complained yet.
/Spike Milligan- Rowan187, on 09/10/2008, -1/+2source on this quote, i really like it
- borez, on 09/10/2008, -0/+2Can't remember, I heard it years ago... might have been on a Goons sketch
- 4rp4n3t, on 09/10/2008, -0/+14And he was still delivering the goods, even after he dies. His head stone reads:
"Duirt me leat go raibh me breoite"
Or, in English:
"I told you I was ill"
Genius. - mrBitch, on 09/11/2008, -0/+1RE: " Death... nobody's complained yet.
/Spike Milligan "
That sounds like a good "de-motivational" poster to me... Go to it shoppers!
- Rowan187, on 09/10/2008, -1/+2source on this quote, i really like it
- hairyjim, on 09/10/2008, -13/+4Long live Jobs and Apple!
- Rowan187, on 09/10/2008, -9/+253MYTH BUSTED.

- thetanbark, on 09/10/2008, -2/+20I bet you feel pretty ***** stupid now, huh?
- ChristianMagic, on 09/10/2008, -0/+25There are starving children in Africa that would love those diggs.

- blackfox026, on 09/10/2008, -1/+7BALLS BUSTED.
- munna80, on 09/11/2008, -0/+1You sure need to be buried.
- Xspire, on 09/10/2008, -0/+4He'll always be dead to me.
- BTraina, on 09/10/2008, -0/+3are you his 1st or his 2nd wife?
- gabbycable, on 09/10/2008, -59/+5Stupid comment, better send those diggs to some one who needs them.
- expertnot, on 09/10/2008, -11/+1I'm so happy today ;)
- boxlight, on 09/10/2008, -16/+9Very sadly, Jobs is sick. It's quite apparent. The poor guy is getting weaker with each showing.
There were moments during this speech he had kind of a "drowsy old man" quality. Very sad indeed.- xsquirrel378x, on 09/10/2008, -0/+2How is that sad? He's a smug bitch
- mouthymadness, on 09/10/2008, -1/+0Yes, he is the one who caused Apple to have bad quality mac's......
I missed the build quality of old apple's.

- beerbarron, on 09/10/2008, -5/+19He's not a young man any more, alot of guys either gain or loose wait at his age
- dafragsta, on 09/10/2008, -1/+14Most people gain weight as they get older.
- 4rp4n3t, on 09/10/2008, -2/+18What's loose weight? Is that like when women go pear shaped?
- fritzek, on 09/10/2008, -10/+2A lot of guys put on weight when they get older. The ones, who lose weight, have cancer, AIDS, or something like that.
- fritzek, on 09/10/2008, -2/+0Yeah, I see. Truth hurts. Your idol is going to die soon.
- mouthymadness, on 09/10/2008, -0/+0It's true, no normal person would loose weight if he didn't have some sort of sickness.
- pjvandehaar, on 09/11/2008, -0/+0Aids for everyone!
- joshhan, on 09/10/2008, -0/+18Wait, you noticed he spelled "loose" wrongly but not "wait?"
- beerbarron, on 09/11/2008, -0/+1When its midnight your eyes start getting heavy, and your care for the english language just evaporates.
- pjvandehaar, on 09/11/2008, -1/+0Spell check isn't perfect. Read over you comment or learn English.
- mrBitch, on 09/11/2008, -0/+1Ha! You good English important need to learn!
- munna80, on 09/11/2008, -0/+2Didn't you understand what he wanted to say?
What is your ***** problem?
I bet you don't speak any language besides English, otherwise you wouldn't make such a stupid comment.

- sircomix, on 09/10/2008, -0/+6I know, he must be really really smart!
- hoist0that0rag, on 09/10/2008, -1/+1i see what he did there.
- daltonls, on 09/10/2008, -0/+1Sounds like a great idea for a digg submission!!
- pond70, on 09/10/2008, -2/+5he ripped off Mark Twain ...hmmm sounds like apple to me
- sircomix, on 09/10/2008, -0/+6I know, he must be really really smart!
- seantubridy, on 09/10/2008, -10/+2Ohhhh NERDGASM!
- DirkBelig, on 09/10/2008, -10/+3Accusation?!? Jeez, can Diggers use proper English without C&Ping their talking points from Think Progress? Guess not.
"Steve Jobs Mocks Reports of His Death", would've been a proper headline.- NeoSporin, on 09/10/2008, -1/+5Some people are just horrible people, aren't they?
- johnfrisco1313, on 09/10/2008, -1/+213Steve is almost thinner than the Nano.
- zaqarov, on 09/10/2008, -0/+44Apple is really proud of it... their thinnest Steve yet!
Seriously what's with all the emphasis on "best, coolest, thinnest, fastest iShiit ever made"?
I thought the point of releasing a new version of a product was to make it better, so I kind of assumed it would be their best yet.- pjvandehaar, on 09/11/2008, -3/+0For Apple, the point of releasing a new product is to keep the fanboys going and make sure its just different enough to get them to buy yet another ipod.
- CarzorStelatis, on 09/12/2008, -0/+1Because there's only so much you can do to a portable media player. They won't add new codecs because they want to keep people within the iTunes AAC/H264 ecosystem (just the same as MS won't add anything other than new forms of WMA and WMV to the Zune), they can't add more capacity because of size constraints, they can't really improve the sound quality other than changing to a different DAC or headphone amp (neither of which are showy enough as a keynote announcement). So "this is as technically good as the previous one, but it looks nicer/is lighter/has better battery life" is about as good as _anyone_ can do unless their previous product was hopeless.
- julianpowers, on 09/11/2008, -0/+1Seriously. He looks like he had a cancer relapse.
- zaqarov, on 09/10/2008, -0/+44Apple is really proud of it... their thinnest Steve yet!
- alanr19, on 09/10/2008, -18/+3Nobody said he was dead. They said he was ill.
Job's Reality Distortion Field at its best there.- fahrvergnuugen, on 09/10/2008, -1/+13Wrong. Bloomberg News published his obituary, which is what he was responding to with that slide.
http://apple20.blogs.fortune.cnn.com/2008/08/28/ho ... - WickEd101, on 09/10/2008, -0/+2what he said. people had been predicting his near-death health for some time
also you don't create the kind of media exposure just by being sick, it's not sickness that drops share prices, it's what a severe illness could lead to, ie his departure from the company should he die. - mrBitch, on 09/11/2008, -0/+1@alanr19 RE: " Nobody said he was dead. They said he was ill. "
After posting this same WRONG comment multiple times on this thread, do you feel like the complete nincompoop yet?
- fahrvergnuugen, on 09/10/2008, -1/+13Wrong. Bloomberg News published his obituary, which is what he was responding to with that slide.
- dafragsta, on 09/10/2008, -10/+5The real question is "Why did he wait so long?" This kind of thing affects stock prices.
- pradador, on 09/10/2008, -3/+0Did we forget about the right to privacy?

- dienaked, on 09/10/2008, -4/+12This is the kind of thing CEO's say when they haven't had a chance to dump their stock yet.
- Chrysalii, on 09/10/2008, -7/+17It was funnier a hundred years ago when Mark Twain said it.
- Marfanity, on 09/10/2008, -0/+41Oh yeah, I remember that. What a laugh we had...
- mearom, on 09/10/2008, -0/+2yep, older than the internet
- Skettalee, on 09/10/2008, -1/+43He says that as he looks like he is dying on stage.
- dazparkour, on 09/10/2008, -0/+15He is looking really old in that shot. If he tried to bounce around like Balmer he would put his back out.
- polalion, on 09/10/2008, -11/+3I hope he never dies.
If he doesn't die, we won't have to endure a week of mourning from the hoards of iFans, and having Digg flooded with articles about what he has done in his life, and how they bring world peace and take away starvation.
I just realised we already have that here. Without the mourning. - octowussy, on 09/10/2008, -7/+1So what do the Apple fanboys who kept screaming about how this wasn't anybody's business other than his own think about this? Will they hold their dear leader to the same standard?
- Nothlit, on 09/10/2008, -0/+2This was not a reference to all the rumors about his illness. It is clearly a reference to Bloomberg's accidental publication of his obituary last month.
- MAARRS, on 09/10/2008, -10/+7Buried for the improper use of "Accusation"
Was he really being ACCUSED of being dead? like he was a zombie? or Kieth Richards?- JDoorjam, on 09/10/2008, -0/+1He was being accused of having rapidly deteriorating health and concealing it from stockholders. That's a big deal when, from the perspective of many investors, the fortunes of the entire company owe a great deal to his leadership.
- rootsm3, on 09/10/2008, -0/+1I never knew one could be accused of dying until today.
- exomni, on 09/11/2008, -0/+1It's a quote, you ignorant philistine.
- mrzack, on 09/10/2008, -12/+1the Reason Steve Jobs didn't die from cancer like all other celebrities is because He didnt' take the the Pharmaceutical garbage for treatment. HE instead went and got help from the natural health specialists and used diet, nutrition, supplementation and exercise to cure his cancer.
- Niightwitch, on 09/10/2008, -0/+5Yeah, that and the surgery to remove the tumor cured him. Of course, if he hadn't of had the surgery he'd have been screwed.
- mrzack, on 09/11/2008, -2/+1Fool, the Body has the ability to destroy the tumor if given proper nutrition.

- FearisFailure, on 09/10/2008, -1/+1He should be the spokesperson for hair club for men.
- Blasphemous88, on 09/10/2008, -0/+2So much hostility in that one. Definitely has a bad case of E.D.
- anthonyretro, on 09/10/2008, -3/+13You think he has his iCoffin ready, though?
- BTraina, on 09/10/2008, -0/+1i bet its all white and shiny...
and scratches when the dirt hits it easily. - pjvandehaar, on 09/11/2008, -0/+0So that's why he needs to be so thin- to fit in the revolutionarily thin new iCoffin
- BTraina, on 09/10/2008, -0/+1i bet its all white and shiny...
- luap119, on 09/10/2008, -4/+20Steve Jobs is in fact the cure to cancer.
- RedRummy, on 09/10/2008, -0/+5Only SJ can be alive AND dead at the same time!

- HookmasterCH47, on 09/10/2008, -0/+1I wish he would have talked about slamming the guy from the New York Times.
- gummih, on 09/10/2008, -6/+1Quoting Castro?
- pdahotman, on 09/10/2008, -0/+12He's still thin as paper :-(
- jabberwolff, on 09/11/2008, -0/+2But he fits in a manila envelope !!
- CarzorStelatis, on 09/12/2008, -0/+1Our thinnest envelope ever! Now even thinner than the Macbook Air!
- jabberwolff, on 09/11/2008, -0/+2But he fits in a manila envelope !!
- powerfullogic, on 09/10/2008, -10/+3Why doesn't this ***** TELL THE TRUTH! He is dying and we all have a right to know and be by his beside every step of the way.
- Balanced, on 09/10/2008, -0/+4Everybody is dying. It is merely the rate at which you are doing so and what you do with the time.
The latter, for me, apparently is being philosophical on Digg. - OneLess, on 09/10/2008, -0/+3Was that supposed to say "be by his side" or "be by his bedside"? Either way, sort of creepy.
- Balanced, on 09/10/2008, -0/+4Everybody is dying. It is merely the rate at which you are doing so and what you do with the time.
- kronzdigg, on 09/10/2008, -3/+41I am a doctor and I watched the presentation last night very closely. I think he has lost more weight and what concerns me is that I think he is loosing muscle mass. Look at the shots of the nano being held in his hand. I think that he has hand muscle wasting. Obviously this would be bad. I believe that he had a carcinoid tumor of the pancreas removed. This is not the typical pancreas cancer that kills in months. The surgery (removing part of the pancreas) can all by itself (even when no cancer is remaining in the body) make it difficult to keep weight on. Nevertheless his weight loss is concerning.
- Niightwitch, on 09/10/2008, -1/+44Plus add in the factor that he's vegan - those people generally look like they have some kind of wasting disease.
- JDoorjam, on 09/10/2008, -0/+12They do. It's called "veganism."
- 8270369, on 09/10/2008, -10/+0"... he's vegan - those people generally look like they have some kind of wasting disease."
Spoken like an American fatty.
- ianbirtwistle, on 09/10/2008, -1/+3I thought he looked a bit less energised this time, he wasn't talking with the usual vigour and excitement he normally gushes with. He just looked really tired to me...
- VivaNOLA, on 09/10/2008, -0/+2Bear in mind he was rolling out new iPods. Whoopee. Not the usual Apple revolutionary announcement.
- DemDude, on 09/10/2008, -2/+1MAYBE HE HAD FORGOTTEN TO USE CRACK!!!!??!
- Pinasco, on 09/10/2008, -2/+17Learn to spell, loosing. Doctor schmotctor.
- redgoose, on 09/10/2008, -10/+1So, Dr. he is not merely losing weight but merely loosing it as , it's so hot in here I must loosen my tie? Or loosen my weight?
I wonder, Dr.at the oath about patient privacy, which is backed by federal law, does that no longer apply if you are a contributor to mankind on a massive scale? ER, DOCTOR?
Well, I better go my bowels are very lose. I going now.OK? Ok.- kronzdigg, on 09/10/2008, -1/+10What is digg full of engrish teachrs? I typed the stupdi ting fats. BTW I know none of the details of jobs situation. I am an outside observer. I think the tumor type was announced when he had the surgery, but I could be wrong.
Also I don't type much I have two secretaries to do that..... ha ha - Ph0biA, on 09/10/2008, -0/+10You sir, are retarded. Patient privacy only counts if the subject in question is actually a patient. Its not against the law for ANYONE to give a visual diagnosis on another person. I am not your doctor, but I can call you retarded and I wont go to jail for (as you put it) "patient privacy, which is backed by federal law".
Another note. Not all countries are back by the USA federal law. If I was from the UK, I can break any US law that I want, as long as its not against UK law. Welcome to the Internet.

- 8270369, on 09/10/2008, -6/+1I'm also a doctor. And I think you're insane. And probably fat.
- Spo8, on 09/10/2008, -0/+9No, I am a doctor!
This man is an imposter! - Iztikeit, on 09/11/2008, -0/+1You are concerned about Steve Jobs? What has my planet come to?
- pjvandehaar, on 09/11/2008, -3/+1I, for one, welcome our new typical pancreas overlords.
- Niightwitch, on 09/10/2008, -1/+44Plus add in the factor that he's vegan - those people generally look like they have some kind of wasting disease.
- djagia, on 09/10/2008, -14/+4god, hes a d bag.
- colasrtney, on 09/10/2008, -7/+1I can't wait for it to get cool out so I can rock this look. (FL)
- vdogg89, on 09/10/2008, -7/+0I wonder if stevo reads digg
- sircomix, on 09/10/2008, -0/+1Nah, but he probably pays someone to compile clips from blogs and publications for him daily. Now if he has time to read those, that's another story.
- fjpoblam, on 09/10/2008, -7/+4A corporate success should not depend upon a personality. We need some strong "others" and strong "products" to take over the role of SJ so that he may retire so that Apple does not become another BG Microsoft.
As for SJ, / /,- atgmac, on 09/10/2008, -1/+1Who says? Apple seem to be making a lot of money based off "personality". Although I think that if Jonathan Ive died, it would be a bigger blow to Apple.
- CarzorStelatis, on 09/12/2008, -0/+1That's exactly his point - Apple rely on Steve Jobs as a person for making a LOT of their money. So if Steve Jobs retires, quits, or dies then Apple is in bigger trouble than (say) Microsoft if Steve Ballmer retired/quit/died.
