- pzzq, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7just a lame article with some (oldoldold) links. where are the tips?
- marchello, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3yawn
- CyberTroll, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5This is almost funny, the more the windows fanboys complain the more apple stories appear on the front page. But that said I would like to see something new.
- green67, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2agreed..if they want a tip I'd be glad to give them one....
- Fridrik, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2The article author seems to think that most Apple users have never tried out a Windows computer before. Nice effort though.
- toniblue, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1I totally agree!!!
http://TagsPage.com - icevodka, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4wat kind of lame tips are those?!?!!?
- BlueStarr, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3Why the f**k would anyone willingly install XP on their system *shakes head in disbelief*
Fridrik, I've never used a Windows computer, ever! Lucky me. :) - TheShrike, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5What I find amusing is that the article assumes people would actually spend more time in Windows than was absolutely required. All my Macs are PPC, but I honestly have to say that if I had an Intel Mac, I would do the bootcamp thing, and XP would get the smallest recommended partition. I'd use it for testing pages in IE, and maybe the occasional game. But it would never see even half of the time my computer would be on. I've been using XP as long as anyone else, and I am not impressed. At all.
- TwoSlick, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The smallest partition you can do is 5GB, and that's exactly what I have mine set to. I also have an external HD that I use for windows programs. Everything gets installed there for WinXP, and so I can keep the HD for my MacBook Pro setup for OSX.
- collywolly, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0My Tip:
Save a load of cash and buy a box from Dell. It won't look as pretty, but Windows will work better.....
