Tons of iPhone apps with a slick interface
iphoneappr.com — This site is awesome if you have an iPhone. I counted 150 apps, and it looks perfect on the iPhone.

http://gridgets.com/
Even the app manager is better.
http://iphoneappsmanager.com/- tikitom1, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1That site has about 1/3rd the amount of apps that iphoneappr.com has....
- xxNIRVANAxx, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4The image under the ad is awesome. Nice touch. For those without ad blockers:

- schoate09, on 10/11/2007, -4/+12OMG, Dugg from my iPhone and Ubuntuz, hehe lolzors, my Wii's opera threw my airport ULTRA EXTREMEZ.
- brocklese, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3The app that I really want is a way to keep score in golf, so I no longer have to memorize or write down my score when I play disc golf :)
- drgruney, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3I'm sorry but how is it easier to keep score on your iphone than just to have a score card in your disc bag?
Also... it's disc golf who keeps score?
/loves disc golf. - lharrod, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I agree with brocklese. I always fumble with a little card and a little pencil on the course, or the pencil breaks, and I end up trying to sharpen it on a rock. Sure, I can use a pen, but the iPhone would be a quick, easy way to keep score. Plus, it can store your and your friends' scores for future viewing, and perhaps keep track of your growing skills (or in my case, stagnant skills!)

oops - ajmoo, on 10/11/2007, -4/+16Dugg from my iPhone! Great job, I'm impressed at how complete this is!
For those that haven't tried yet, "telekinisis" is awesome!- macguy1234, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Yeah, I've been following the iPhone app scene pretty closely. I've found many on this site that I've never seen before! Very cool site!
- locojones, on 10/11/2007, -5/+2"The iphone app scene"???
LOL Applications are independent programs that you install and that can run on their own merits. They're not web interfaces to things that everyone else has been able to do on their phones forever.- robdiggity, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1In all seriousness, you probably should rethink this.
- locojones, on 10/11/2007, -5/+2"The iphone app scene"???
- schoate09, on 10/11/2007, -10/+2Dugg down for being gay.

- rosskirby, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Great site, makes me want an iphone!
- totorototoro, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4nice..bookmarked.
- tikitom1, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2very nice, now my homepage!
- insomniac8400, on 10/11/2007, -10/+9Since when is a webpage a standalone application? These so called "apps" work in any browser, so why are they even labeled with "iphone"?
- gstu, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5Well there have been so called "web apps" for a long time now. Look at google docs & Spreadsheets
- locojones, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2And look at how both pale in comparison to the real things.
- tuaw, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6Some of the apps will only work on an iphone/safari 3.
- prockcore, on 10/11/2007, -4/+3Some of them aren't even apps.. some are just zip files of background images.
- pkulak, on 10/11/2007, -2/+8Because they are specifically designed for the iPhone.
- gstu, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5Well there have been so called "web apps" for a long time now. Look at google docs & Spreadsheets
- JlmAWP, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6Wow, WebVNC is working perfectly for me. Accessing my home PC from the train....fantastic.
- LeonardNimrod, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Does it offer SSL or did you submit you rpassword in cleartype?
- astrosmash, on 10/11/2007, -4/+3Funny that the author doesn't understand how to format web pages for iPhone's browser. (Hint: specify an iPhone-specific style sheet.)
- crp12, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3actually if you go to the home page (http://www.iphoneappr.com), it auto-detects the iphone and redirects to the /iphone.
- astrosmash, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4Their iPhone-specific page isn't actually formatted for the iPhone, they just use gigantic fonts to work-around the iPhone's initial zoom-out. That's just dumb. There is actually a proper way to create iPhone web pages, and it's very simple.
- CinaMichele, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3then you do it
- cleverboy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1crp12, that's not what he's talking about. After iPhoneDevCamp, apps like this shouldn't be this wonky. This is the epitome of what people say when they say "iPhone apps are just web pages". Putting a banner IN your interface? Not even a one-line banner either, but a banner-ad banner. Yikes.
- cleverboy, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3Astrosmash is totally right. I'm surprised this is getting dugg. I'm in the midst of working on my own app launcher, but there's a lot of other good ones out there. Mojits.com (www.mojits.com), AppMarks.com (www.appmarks.com), Gridgets.com (www.gridgets.com), even Appleopolis.com (which I think also needs formatting help). This one mentioned even has full sized banner ads stuck in it... completely missing the point of the app altogether. Is everyone commenting friends of the author? I mean... seriously.
- crp12, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3actually if you go to the home page (http://www.iphoneappr.com), it auto-detects the iphone and redirects to the /iphone.
- zdiggler, on 10/11/2007, -8/+7Look just just old web apps games that been around for long time just converted to fit on iphone.
No binary applicaiton.- astrosmash, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2Why do comments from people I've blocked show up in my message list? It sucks.
- zdiggler, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Can you hear me now?
- astrosmash, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2Why do comments from people I've blocked show up in my message list? It sucks.
- sirvincent, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Looks great in Firefox.
/fail - Ascendancy5, on 10/11/2007, -10/+5Damn iPhones. You know that Apple is going to release a better version soon enough, and then it will be really funny because everybody who rushed out to get one early will have a slightly outdated iPhone.
- lharrod, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2Hmmm, maybe. Many updates will be software based, which early buyers will get.
- DaffyDuck, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2It's essentially the same with all technology.
- steamedlice, on 10/11/2007, -8/+11Meh. Most of it is crap.

- bryceman111, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13From the site, near the top... "This is where the ad would be if you didn't have an ad blocker. Rock on you rebel, you." Haha, good stuff.
- schoate09, on 10/11/2007, -3/+8Works in IE7
ON VISTA. - zdiggler, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Good, may be some of those apps be using useful in WAP.
I got a tons of links on WAP even Digg, PITA to use but I don't really care about going on website, its hurts my eyes and my neck. I only use the web on the phone in the bathroom.
Still no UPC database linked to Froogles thought.
no Yahoo Mobile, no Google Mobiles. etc.- robdiggity, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4What are you doing in the bathroom that hurts your neck?
- bradmoreland, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Autofellatio.
- robdiggity, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4What are you doing in the bathroom that hurts your neck?
- tidu, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2You counted?
- locojones, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Having seen the people standing in line for this ridiculous little phone, I find the BMI Calculator to be quite an ironic addition lol
- pengas, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1No RSS feed no digg.
The best one I've found is: http://iphoneapplicationlist.com- crp12, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1The design for that site is horrible, its a ***** wordpress template. Could the be any more unoriginal?
- anarchytv, on 10/11/2007, -4/+2In other news, thousands of iphones get infected with an as yet undocument iphone virus, payloaded via some cutesy freeware app, that scream in big pink letters on your iphone "I am gay!" when you click on it. "I didn't even think about that," replied on iphone customer, "I mean, its a phone, who would of thought it could be bricked like a psp by installing an app that overwrote the firmware."
- srobbin, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1Tappity has about 1,000 mobile-friendly sites on it now, including iPhone apps.
http://www.tappity.com
And there's also an iPhone-optimized site as well:
http://iphone.tappity.com - GreenPlastik, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1http://www.appleopolis.com is my fave. The interface looks just like the iPhone Dashboard. Very well done.
- cleverboy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Curious that people are being dugg down for suggesting something else. This is a funky Digg story. Marked as LAME.
- dmierau, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3Check out http://www.munitime.com for a San Francisco Muni and Portland Trimet arrival times app!
- shibbay, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2http://www.iphoneappr.com/apps.php?app=186
- AceTracer, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1You had me all excited that someone made a TriMet app, but it only supports the Streetcar, which is kind of useless because all the Streetcar stops have arrival clocks.
- shibbay, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2http://www.iphoneappr.com/apps.php?app=186
- brindon, on 10/11/2007, -2/+12I can only hope all websites take this design cue when making their sites - it looks perfect. Elegant and beautiful - just like my iPhone.
- FaytlND, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2I don't hope that. It may look great on an iPhone, but for any other website it's a horrendously inefficient use of webspace. I don't think you will see "all sites" start to aim their designs at what is currently less than 1 million users. What is that, probably around 0.01% or less of the web users?
- offsky, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1There doesn't seem to be any way to submit a new site to their list. For example, the best iPhone to-do list: http://www.toodledo.com
- shibbay, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3http://www.iphoneappr.com/apps.php?app=190
You can click on the "submit" tab on the main page :D
- shibbay, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3http://www.iphoneappr.com/apps.php?app=190
- inkhead, on 10/11/2007, -4/+7Actually the best one so far was created by an Apple Employee (the site looks different on iPhone) but it's a directory of apps, and lets you customize your view so you can have a mini "app launcher" with the apps you choose. It looks really slick when browsing from the iPhone, I use it for pretty much all my iPhone apps now.
Check it out:
http://mojits.com/home- lharrod, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Thanks! Sweet site! This is just a glimpse at the very near future for iPhone. The day will soon come when the iPhone has so many apps (both cool and lame) that it will prove harder and harder for haters to doom-say this device. And again, as I always remind... this is only the 1st gen.
- cleverboy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Why... WHY are people digging down anyone else's recommendation? Cut it out.
- Nick519, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1i really like this one -- thanks!
- jawbreaker4fs, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Holy *****. That music app on the main page just blew my mind.
- Calabahn, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2This sucks, why do I have to sign up to use applications that should be native on the iPhone?
Go ahead and digg me down, but I'll be damned if I'll feed the spam machine by giving an email address to use some third rate applications. - steveatdownmix, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2I was playing the chess app and it doesn't apply all of the rules of chess. You can't get a draw after a threefold repetition.
Been a while since I played chess so I suck, but I remember the rules :)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threefold_repetition- Alegis, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Tried it, the chess program sucks.
Computer sacrificed her queen just to get a "check". Only thing nice about it are the looks, even for amateurs it will be an easy victory.- Samtheman007, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1oh man, I lost :-(
I feel stupid
- Samtheman007, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1oh man, I lost :-(
- Alegis, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Tried it, the chess program sucks.
- peterinjapan, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3The Heysan chat app is actually usable for doing AIM on the iPhone. Not as good as what we want Apple to make, but I can contact people easily with this and I don't hate it.
http://m.heysan.com/ipchat/login.do
Pengas, you asked about RSS feed. Totally, use Google Reader on the phone. It shows you the mobile pages by default, but they're so readable on the screen, it's the best I've used so far. - netinvader, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0Way too cool for school man, you hit a jackpot by doing this... Also I must say kudos on the whole app opening up in a new window. Very nice touch.
way to go shibbay you're the man! - memoBug, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1>and it looks perfect on the iPhone.
actually, it looks like a frickin' eye chart!
/If you need to identify the sites that look good on your browser, it's not a good browser. - krisguy, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2This site is going to be a huge thing for development of sites for other media besides computers. I've tried this site on my Wii and my Palm (running Opera Mini and Blazer) and most of these sites worked great.
- raymanunique, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3You know what, a lot of these sites look fantastic on my UMPC.
- ackza, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2apple propaganda,

- kayto, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Is there a bug in the voting system? I just tried to vote 8/10 for Bravetrail in the Social Networking section and it took my vote as 1/10! As a result the average score fell from > 8 to < 4!
- HairyPoter, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2150 applications? just that?
This site has 264 applications...
AddFone
http://addfone.com
No other site has so much applications as AddFone.
I've tried to digg that
http://www.digg.com/apple/AddFone?cshow=
but I had no success. Can you help? - flyindutchman, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1The real internet huh?
- Jeffrin, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1These are 'apps' dude. I KNEW someone was gonna say something like this.
- flyindutchman, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1These aren't 'apps', they are redesigned web pages fit for a cell phone. Also know as WAP.
LOL I love Apple, but anyone who believes this is a good alternative to real applications is really drinking down the kool-aid.
- flyindutchman, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1These aren't 'apps', they are redesigned web pages fit for a cell phone. Also know as WAP.

- jakdracula, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2I am watching 1968's Night of the Living Dead on my iPhone. For free. Link off of that site.
- orchidthief, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Also a more developed one at http://mockdock.com. I like MockDock's categories more, plus the developer is making improvements based on other dev's input. Plus, road tested. Over 30,000 users from what I undertsand.
- insight32, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Another website http://www.ipodapplications.com just launched with over 200+ free applications. They include screenshots and descriptions in a very easy to use interface including a search interface.
