- TheDataWhore, on 11/14/2008, -0/+9That is pretty awesome, I wonder if it is any less accurate than the algorithms requiring training.
- BrokebackCasket, on 11/14/2008, -0/+14Glad it's out but should have come with it in the first place.
- acmaurer, on 11/14/2008, -1/+6agreed. it was weird how the iphone had so many app.s EXCEPT this.
- metsgolets, on 11/14/2008, -1/+3Absolutely.

- madfastride, on 11/14/2008, -0/+10Good thing it's free... Couldn't imagine paying extra for something that should have come in the first place!
- droxy429, on 11/14/2008, -3/+6Requires an internet connection though. So won't work for those without a data plan.
- granolajoe, on 11/14/2008, -0/+2Wi-Fi?
- huggybarrel, on 11/15/2008, -0/+8who has an iphone without a data plan?
- SawButter, on 11/15/2008, -0/+5I've got a Data plan but no iPhone.
- linagee, on 11/15/2008, -0/+4I'm Data and I have a plan.

- droxy429, on 11/15/2008, -0/+1Yeah I guess with WiFi it will work.
The only time I ever use this app is while driving though, and theres no WiFi in the car.
And I'm sure there are a lot of people without a data plan, maybe not in the US, but other countries.
- stignordas, on 11/14/2008, -0/+5I'm sure we'll see this built in pretty soon, but cool none the less.
- Papajohn56, on 11/15/2008, -0/+12it currently has a "*****" rating on the app store?
- mytCbumps, on 11/15/2008, -0/+6It could be "*****", "*****" or "suck". Yes! Apple censors the word "suck"! But, "crap" is okay...
- tmyprod, on 11/15/2008, -0/+15ProTip: Commonly in literature, "****" denotes a censored (usually profane) word. So, its recommended that you specify that it has a "4-star" rating rather than have your reader assume it has a "*****" rating.
- granolajoe, on 11/15/2008, -0/+7Cool. But what if the rating actually *is* *****?
- mytCbumps, on 11/15/2008, -1/+1Isn't Google working on something better than this?
- zephc, on 11/15/2008, -1/+24I think you mean it has ★★★★☆
- justinlarsen, on 11/15/2008, -1/+4so l33t!
- skyroket, on 11/15/2008, -0/+2How did you get that backwards b???
- bjstiktrix, on 11/15/2008, -0/+1I prefer voicebox
- oneredeye, on 11/15/2008, -7/+8Um... the RAZR came out of the box with voice dialing.
- Goblin, on 11/15/2008, -5/+13It also came with out-of-the-box sucking of donkey balls, but no-one's screaming for that on the iPhone.
- supersteve, on 11/15/2008, -2/+2the razr sucks
- cknyan, on 11/15/2008, -0/+6I wouldn't trust any calling app that requires a server connection to work properly.
- bradleyland, on 11/15/2008, -2/+1Yes, because somewhere in the sky there is someone interested in the names of the people you called today.

- singularityv, on 11/15/2008, -1/+3Doesn't the Nokia E90 come with this feature? And it took the iPhone how long to support this?
- DiggItalia, on 11/15/2008, -1/+2The Nokia 5510 came out with this feature 2 years ago, it's pretty accurate and there's no need of server connections.
It's a neat thing to show off with friends, but honestly, I've never used it. I'm no fan of yelling names at my phone in public. browsing the contacts list is much more discrete and time-efficient, imho.- Philbert, on 11/15/2008, -0/+1I don't see any reason to use it in public, but while driving it would be very handy. Though I don't usually make calls while driving, only answer them.
- mjw2025, on 11/15/2008, -0/+0I use a Razr and with a headset speak the name at the same volume that I use in a normal conversation. No reason to use voice dialing without the headset with speed dial.
- blotchy39, on 11/15/2008, -1/+2This has been around for a few weeks now. And it still doesn't work. For me at least.
- AaronTheYoung, on 11/15/2008, -0/+2Does work very well at all. Tried it twice on a very simple name (Dad Young) and it didn't get it.
- bejayel, on 11/15/2008, -3/+2My new samsung instinct came with this out of the box, and it works good for the most part. So did my razr and my samsung slide phone. In all honesty, how many people use it? The only ones i know of are the people who walk around with bluetooth headsets on their ears all day (IE douche bags).
I wish the apple fanboys would stop front paging every single article about every single feature. When is it going to get GPS like my instinct? Haptic tactile feedback? Maybe the ability to shoot video? The iPhone sucks and this is a useless feature for 99% of the general public. - tnwake, on 11/15/2008, -2/+1My Windows Mobile phone has had this feature for years
- Nosrac, on 11/16/2008, -0/+1Neato!
- aspectratio314, on 11/15/2008, -0/+1Doesn't seem to work with Bluetooth headset either, which makes it much less useful for in-car dialing.
- supermanred, on 11/16/2008, -1/+1Ive been using this for a while now, it works great. Nails it every time, pretty much...
Using this has gotten me excited about the upcoming google update for iPhone that will allow voice googling... - steeler7, on 11/16/2008, -1/+0what do uno
- jmreidy, on 11/16/2008, -0/+1The app crashes on me the first 2-3 times I launch it on top of taking forever to load. Once it gets going it definitely is accurate though. It's no 4 star, but a good start. Keep trying.
