The only time I ever use this app is while driving though, and theres no WiFi in the car.
And I'm sure there are a lot of people without a data plan, maybe not in the US, but other countries.

It's a neat thing to show off with friends, but honestly, I've never used it. I'm no fan of yelling names at my phone in public. browsing the contacts list is much more discrete and time-efficient, imho.- Philbert, on 11/15/2008, -0/+1I don't see any reason to use it in public, but while driving it would be very handy. Though I don't usually make calls while driving, only answer them.

In all honesty, how many people use it? The only ones i know of are the people who walk around with bluetooth headsets on their ears all day (IE douche bags).
I wish the apple fanboys would stop front paging every single article about every single feature. When is it going to get GPS like my instinct? Haptic tactile feedback? - jmreidy, on 11/16/2008, -0/+1The app crashes on me the first 2-3 times I launch it on top of taking forever to load. Once it gets going it definitely is accurate though. It's no 4 star, but a good start. Keep trying.
