Maybe for Jobs and his billions... - sweimh, on 07/03/2008, -0/+3"Yeah, the iPhone'll cost you a pretty penny - no matter where you live."
- DiggMyMonkey, on 07/03/2008, -1/+2With $4,000 I could fund my start up...migg.com.
It's like digg but for monkeys. - SteveMax, on 07/03/2008, -0/+3Just wait until the prices in Brazil are announced, those will physically hurt. If we didn't have two competing carriers with the phone, I'm sure the price would "best" the Swedish by a huge margin.
- HollisJamison, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2I just love how everyone includes the price of the plans inside the price of the phone. Cell phone plans are a service and have nothing to do with the phone it's self. You can't just sit here and pretend every other phone isn't just as much when you include the plans. People will do anything to hate on something popular these days it's ridiculous.
- kuz2r, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2no hating here, it is called cost of ownership. The point is that cost of ownership is extremely different in some cases more then 50% by comparing different countries. my 2c.
- lazeedigger, on 07/04/2008, -0/+0You know what's really funny? The high prices for iPhone 3G is driving up the prices of the original iPhone on ebay. Nobody wants to pay for the 3G dataplan... they turn to the next best alternative.
