In part, he puts this success down to BitTorrent, as he saw a huge increase in sales when his books appeared on sites such as The Pirate Bay. It will however not help crappy writers as these still rely on media spin, fake reviews and marketing to make sure a customer buys a copy without having had a chance to sample it.
