- virtualmyles, on 03/20/2008, -0/+4Very, very unfortunate that the librarian was let go. I agree that she did the right thing, and think that this is a sad day for good deeds.
- jmbreland, on 03/21/2008, -0/+3The best outcome I can think of is for this loo-loo named Hill - the library supervisor - to be charged with aiding and abetting child porn. Carries the same penalty as the child porn crime itself. It would also send a message to the ALA that facilitating free speech and facilitating criminal behavior are two entirely different things.
- Nannybell, on 03/21/2008, -0/+3The American Library Association is, in my opinion, an enemy of America's children. Besides the sort of thing that transpired in this article, they also routinely push very decadent novels on our youth. The novels in question contain horrible profanity and vulgarity and explicit sex of every variety. For more information about that, please visit the website of Parents Against Bad Books in Schools, www.pabbis.com. Be forewarned that the website contains R and X-rated excerpts from these novels in order to inform the public what the ALA and public schools nationwide think your children should read.
