  • Anator, on 07/07/2008, -8/+8As a computer engineer that is very true in my case. I am developing an eclipse RCP application for a small firm and I am just seeing the "have-todos" pile up. I can no longer say that I "love" doing what I do. It has become a routine. Instead I "like/love" reading slashdot articles, sci-fi books or cracking that occasional xkcd comic and of-course digging. I cannot sustain a life doing only those things that I like.

    Ah. I envy those musicians.

We get off track by doing what others expect us to do and allowing ourselves to be distracted my media. Spend some time each day doing something your passionate about (read to your kids, swim, ride a bike), you'll be a happier person for it!
