Fukuda is freaking amazing. These two, Nobel and Webster, are, as Randy would say, "just okay". Plus it takes two of them to do the work Fukuda does better by himself.

      Carefully suspend random objects so that they lay within the black area of the projection. Remove projector and replace with lamp.

    ...But in all seriousness... It would have been awesome if the type of trash used to cast the shadows depicted the kind of people that produced that same particular type of trash. It would have been equally artistic but with a message.

      They actually used products available from the catalogue to build the ones for these adverts. So perhaps the artistic integrity was lost but the idea was there.

    • KnutTheBear, on 05/25/2008, -0/+3I am not so sure. I think that it is a little deceiving because the angle the picture is taken from is not the angle the light is shining from. Number four makes a lot more sense if you move the light source about 25 degrees to the left of where the picture is taken. That accounts for the differences in cigarette size (the garbage cigarette is much longer than the one in the shadow) and it allows for the cup to be pulled much closer to the 'body' of the garbage, which if you look closely, it is.
