No wai!- LucerinRed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+22you know, everyone made a big deal about that fight, but I think it was all just a misconception.
now I don't mean to be racist, but we ALL know that basketball players can't swim very well, and when that cup of water hit him, he thought he was drowning. And the first thing you when you're drowning is you head for high ground, and if there's a fat white kid in the way, you ***** knock his ass out. Just a theory. Probably wrong, but I thought I'd put it out there - MikeOSX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1...why was the culprit actually saying "culprit"?
- LucerinRed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+22you know, everyone made a big deal about that fight, but I think it was all just a misconception.
- chowell18, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6It's not like the Kings are challenging for a playoff spot anyway... I wonder if Artest will end up serving any time for the charges.
- DiggsOnlyNeoCon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+22He needs to be charged a fifth misdemeanor for that rap album.
- Shlep, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7That's more of a felony
- josegutz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It's more of a felony...
iz that what you tellin me?
the subject is killin me
for I'm arrested most willingly - polyGone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1wait till you see Mike Millers, with the pony tail rap......
- kolbygoodman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Well at least he didn't run up those rickety wooden isles at Arco Arena and punch out some yuppie from the Suburbs. Thanks for keeping the crimes at home Ron.
- geronimo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Where artests lives is where I used to hike, go fishing and explore caves. Now he has a million+ dollar home on that land and what does he do? Beats his wife and gets in trouble with the law. They've built that place up, added fountains, renamed lakes, paved everything, added sidewalks, now yuppies run around unhappy in their million dollar luxury gated communities. It makes you wonder if they've gone a step backwards rather than forwards because I think we were much happier back then. What matters, happiness or how big your house is..
- kaiser44, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Ron Ar test, being Ron Ar test, no class, needs a good ass kicking off his own.
NBA should consider sitting him down at least for 1 year and get him some mental help.- Shlep, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3What do you suggest the NBA do about the other hundred or so thugs in the league?
- threemagic, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2They did shut him down for a year... didn't do much help.
The Maloof brothers' have shown their class by allowing him to continue playing. I think Mark Cuban has more class than the Maloof's.
Get rid of this head case before something more major happens.
- Jdriggers, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2He was in the Apple Store in Atlanta on Monday and purchased Age of Empires II. Maybe this was his way of venting his anger without hurting anyone?
- aldomatic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yea Ron has some anger issues, and needs some serious HELP
- ahhell, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2He beat the ***** out of his wife and gets some misdemeanor charges!!!
Nice justice system.- Shlep, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1He's an athlete. He's above the law
/sarcasm - josegutz, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3 He pushed and grabbed and slapped his wife...
That's not beating the hell out of her, that's just normal marriage fights.
Read the Friggin article before you make a statement like "He beat the ***** out of his wife."
- threemagic, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4"that's not beating the ***** out of her that's normal marraige fights"
Maybe in your trailer park that's normal.. but in the real world slapping around your wife, even a slap is not right. - josegutz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@threemagic
You quoted me wrong I said beat the HELL out of her... Not *****.
HE Slapped her! That's not PUNCHING!
Thats my point!
The guy said he beat the hell out of his wife and I think people need to get their act togther before posting lucidious and rhetorical comments...
I did not say it's right or wrong you Dope... - threemagic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1you said it's "Normal marriage" stuff. That's not.. that's trailer trash stuff.
- Shlep, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1He's an athlete. He's above the law
- DrewBledsoe, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Artest is a total headcase, I remember when he was playing against the celtics several years ago, and he pulled Paul Pierce's shorts down to his ankles during an inbound play.
For some reason, I really can't dislike him, the dude is just tapped.- datastorageguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1bury

best I could find. Yeah she is not of the Mrs. Kobe Bryant caliber.
- yakk00, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4Just another reason to NOT support the NBA. Because you would, in turn, be putting money in these otherwise burger flipping "atheletes".
- Euthenasia, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1ah come on, he is just working on his "street cred" so his next album will be a hit...
- hdtvdust, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0Just misdemeanors? He's getting better!
- nanboya, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4The dude's a thug and should be quietly taken out back and disposed of...

- kaiser44, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2@shlep, Most are not, But D. Stern allows it, and like anything else as long as money is being made he will do as little as possible to shake that up.
The N.B.A game is boring and predictable , not much to watch until the playoffs, the players no it and it shows.- DrewBledsoe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1actually stern is working hard to fight that image. He implemented that dress code last season so that the players would look less thuggish and would be more appealing to white people.
If you watched the pheonix suns play, you wouldn't think the NBA was boring and predictable.
Maybe you have to follow the NBA a little bit to be "into it." - threemagic, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Heh.. Drewbledsoe, a hero of mine...
anyway, he's right.. also anyone watch Kobe of late, or AI, or Detroit... good basketball
- DrewBledsoe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1actually stern is working hard to fight that image. He implemented that dress code last season so that the players would look less thuggish and would be more appealing to white people.
- phatboyslim, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Trouble finds some, and some go looking for it. Ron Artest follows the latter. I hope he is serving a fruit cup salad to Nasty Nate in the local big house within the next month.
- josegutz, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3Shorty wanna be a Thug...
Yeah check it out dudes...
The dude is a basketball player... He 's got some skills, and I like how he plays... Now as far as the private life, I can put myself in his shoes.
The spoiled wifey probably wanted the damn dog. Probably begged him to get it for her. He is gone almost all the time, on the road...So how do you expect him to feed the dog? That's her responsibilty. She is the "WIFE". Instead of getting her hair done and shopping all day she should be scheduling the tasks around the house like feeding the dog...Or get a damned maid to do it. How about the kids? Get their spoiled lazy asses to do it...They probably don't do anything all day but play videos and cause trouble. That's is what is wrong in america today...We MEN are getting wussified by the media and society. Women are taking over... We can't even try to be a good man to our wives because any threat to them is considered domestic abuse. He probably had an argument with his wife about this whole resposibilities thing and got upset. I am not at all sayin that beating your wife is right, but come on...Where is the mans right to be the head of the house? Where did that go?- 0x41, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1@josegutz: What the hell are you mumbling about?
- kaiser44, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1yo yo yo, word, got to keep dem bitches in line.
***** ALL DAT ***** MAN, I a baller , I got to keep dat ***** real. - josegutz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You know I'm right...
