Amero coming within decade
worldnetdaily.com — Strategist expects currency changes as Canadian dollar matches greenback. See, devalue the dollar to match everyone else and it makes it easier to have one currency for North America.

- RogerStrong, on 10/10/2007, -10/+9This is of course, complete BS. The "Amero" idea came from a private citizen, not any government. The coin shown in the article is a novelty coin from a company cashing in on the NAU conspiracy crowd.
And that's what the NAU is all about: There's a sucker born every minute, and a good conspiracy theory can group them together to make taking their money more effcient. The NAU is this decade's UFO conspiracy.
When all is said and done, worldnetdaily.com has never produced one shred of evidence for a common currency - only a bunch of fellow conspiracy theorists quoting each other.
And no-one in the NAU conspiracy theory crowd has come up with a credible reason why Canada would join such a union. The US run up an all-time record debt (even before 9/11) that the rest of the world is increasingly backing away from carrying - especially after the latest subprime mortgage mass fraud. And it's digging itself in deeper. Canada on the other hand has record surpluses, and it paying down it's debt.
Canada simply isn't going to tie itself to a sinking ship - especially when the U.S., from softwood lumber to durham wheat, refuses to honor *existing* treaties. Which is why Canada is setting up trade agreements with other countries as fast as it can.
Nope, a common currency won't include Canada, There's no reason to adopt it, and a world of reason not to.- frankjt, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9I guess I'm a conspiracy nut. I've struggled with why this administration says we're fighting a war on terror but has done nothing but window dressing as far as border and port security are concerned. I also struggle with their support for the shamnesty bill that would have allowed gang members and terrorists a free pass via the Z1 visa. Once again it defies rational thought -- unless of course this administration is looking to create the kind of economic chaos that would render a union of US, Mexico and Canada sensible. Certainly there's no way the majority of Americans would surrender their sovereignty unless the choice before them were chaos versus a stable North American Union. The U.S. government website at spp.gov makes interesting reading for anyone who wonders whether the formation of the NAU is the brainchild of conspiracy nuts like me.

- michael4lsu, on 10/10/2007, -3/+8Ever heard of the Euro? Probably not, you obviously don't like to read or do research, given your ignorance on the North American Union, the efforts of the CFR, and the fact that you obviously didn't even read this WND article or else you would have seen that they mentioned that Amero coin shown in the article is a novelty coin.
- aerostar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Right on, michael4lsu...! The "head-in-the-sand" crowd in Europe had ample warning before the "Euro" was ever forced on them. But those Numb-Skulls ignored the warning just like Roger Strong, here, is doing.
Americans, wake up & don't listen to The Roger's of today. Open your eyes, and SEE what is happening.
Guys like hime with their Dreamland approach are poisoning the Awareness Climate. Instead, they try to make US look like fools to the general population, and the typical American won't study, learn and understand. So Roger with his glib pronouncements may be sincere, but he is sincerely WRONG. His attitude and comments put him over on the Other Side. He may be unwitting now... or he may be a concious, deliberate enemy of TRUTH.

- dd12101, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1After reading alot of these digg posts, I am convinced that there are indiviudals employed to do nothing more than insert dis-information into this otherwise open forum.
- lazerus9, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1That is a fact! I'm getting very good at exposing them!
- jcm267, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I'd like to see names.
- aerostar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Get a life, jcm267... If you paid any attention, you would know that lazerus9 is very good at "calling names" and exposing the rats... so open your eyes.
- RogerStrong, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I've thought about that. The Bush administration is responsible for so much incompetence, sleazy behavior and outright criminal activity that there should have been a popular uprising against them by now.
But instead of people exposing the incompetence that let 9/11 happen, we get really lame 9/11 conspiracies involving hologram airplanes, Osama being part of an American plot, and BBC involvement. Instead of pointing out the incompetence of running up record deficits even *before* 9/11, let alone since, you have people saying, "The dollar's collapse isn't an accident! They really do have a plan!" Or "It's the globalist bankers's fault, not the Bush administration's!!!"
One could make a very good case for the 9/11 "truthers" and the Amero crowd being paid by Bush and Co. They couldn't ask for a better distraction.- dd12101, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1See, call them out and sure enough one crawls out of the lie factory and posts some absurd crap like this, go back to moveon
- lazerus9, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1That is a fact! I'm getting very good at exposing them!
- AntiHegelian, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3You keep saying "why would this country join this", and "why would that country join this"....don't you realize the globalist bankers are in control. You can't get Americans to agree on anything, yet nearly 90% want the borders secured......what do the globalist puppets running America say to this? NO ....NO .... NO .....we will not secure the border NO ....We are in a dictatorship and don't realize it. That's how pharmaceutically mind-numbed our population has become. When Bush family friend Hinckley shot Reagan, Reagan realized who was going to be in control. Bush Sr. was in the whitehouse for twelve years....then Bill for eight...then W for eight...now Hillary for eight....That's thirty six years of Bush's and Clintons running...I mean ruining America. They go way back, and are good friends behind the scenes. The rest is for public consumption. Bill was recruited by the illuminati as a Rhodes scholar. They are one worlders who do the bidding of the globalist bankers. Mark this on your calendar....Hillary will be the next president for sure. The globalist run GOP will nominate a pro-choice, pro-gay rights Giuliani so to lose some of the Christian vote ala President Hillary Clinton.
- Darel99, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2Hi Roger,
May I suggest you spend more time with your NAU research before you post your lies! Sir, tell me why would congress present a bill to later pass to defeat the NAU if this matter wasn't a concern?
We have no time for your bull so go sell it to the other TV dead crowd! - aerostar, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2RS... You are today's Ostrich... you've got your "head in the sand" and can't see & understand what is so OBVIOUS around us. As one wise thinker said, "If all of these that are happening around us are really just ACCIDENTS, then WHY don't they make some accidents IN OUR FAVOR... and if in fact they were accidents, at least 50% of the WOULD BE in our favor. Wake up Roger, get your head out of the sand, and join the Reality Crowd that can SEE, RECOGNIZE and UNDERSTAND
- saltmagic, on 10/10/2007, -2/+13I will fight it to the death.
- jpwhitmore, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2That's my first thought too. But when I ask myself why I can't think of a good reason. What about all of you?
- michael4lsu, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4It will consolidate the theft of our wealth by means of one tool instead of three. It will speed up the destruction of the American middle class and equalizing us with the poverty of Mexico, expediting the expansion of the divide between the wealthy elite and the lower class. It will begin a new cycle of fiat currency that will automatically gain the confidence of the public simply because it is new and allow these bankers to continue their theft of our wealth through inflation and taxes. Fiat currencies inevitably inflate themselves to worthlessness because they are not backed/limited by gold and therefore become useful tools for siphoning wealth from the public through inflation. This happens at an exponential rate. The dollar is at the point where its rate of inflation has climbed so fast that it is near its end. A new currency will simply allow these bankers to continue the cycle anew. Plus, it will put them one step closer to the global currency. It will also put them another step closer to their global government. We won't have a continental currency without having a continental governing body to regulate business, taxes, and trade with it.
So here is a good reason to fight a continental currency like the Amero: it would be a giant incremental step toward a global socialist government that will have us all as slaves with no rights. And it will be done at the will of the brainwashed majority who bought the propaganda generated by the globalist elite in lock step with the various crisis they created to justify their agenda. - aerostar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4EXCELLENT post, michael4lsu...! EXCELLENT, well reasoned, lucidly thought-out, and clearly presented. Thanks for "being there" (uhhh, HERE, that is) for us to share this vital and factual information... and explaining it so well. Kudos!

- Victorioso, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8It kind of gives a modern rendition of "the love of money is the root of all evil" doesnt it ? Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty. Americans did not pay, and they lost it. Welcome to the new America.

- LeadOffMan, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10WND also has reported a continued slide in the value of the dollar on world currency markets could set up conditions in which the adoption of the amero as a North American currency gains momentum.
- RogerStrong, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2But they don't say how or why. That slide might make a North American currency a good idea for the U.S., but it makes it less likely that other countries would join. As I said, no-one wants to tie themselves to a sinking ship.
- michael4lsu, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5The Amero would be a new ship. The dollar is the sinking ship, and many foreign currencies are inevitably going down with it. This is what happens to all fiat currencies.
- RogerStrong, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2It would be the same ship. It's the same economy, run by the same banking system. Giving it a new paint job won't fool anyone who would carry the U.S. debt.
As for "other currencies going down with it", name one. Our (Canadian) currency is at a 31-year high against the US dollar, and it's doing well against other world currencies too. Our unemployment is at a 33-year low. We have budget surpluses that we've been using to pay down the debt. We're doing fine.
Got anything else? - michael4lsu, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Yes, foreign currencies will be forced to devalue along with the dollar or else their trade will be ruined. They will go down with the dollar. It's not about fooling the other countries. It's about fooling the little sheeple, and consolidating the wealth and power eventually into one global currency and one global socialist government. Although, you being a Canadian might want a global socialist government, so you should be all in favor of the Amero.
- RogerStrong, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2It would be the same ship. It's the same economy, run by the same banking system. Giving it a new paint job won't fool anyone who would carry the U.S. debt.

- watcher1, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11I've been watching these stories for a while now, it makes me wonder if this wasn't the stategy of the devaluation of the dollar all along. We've all heard about how China is behind it, well maybe that's not the whole story, not that I think China wouldn't love to destroy us financially. Perhaps it's a way to force us to go with the amero, rather than bankrupting the american economy, especially if we suffer an even greater attack on the homeland than 9/11 was.
- victorypup, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Very well could be.
- dd12101, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Think Globally, multi billionaires have no allegiance anymore, the rich classes of each country are now collaborating together to form a world that they own and the rest of us work in.
- victorypup, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10I've been watching this for many years. To simply dismiss this phenomena as, "conspiracy talk" is very irresponsible. Every thing in the world done by business and government can be classified as "just a CONSPIRACY". Business and governmental strategy, agreed on by 2 or more individuals meets the criteria for "CONSPIRACY". While the term generally has a clandestine, or negative connotation to it, never the less it is a descriptive term for, shall we say, passing the Patriot Act., or getting a Court nomination passed. or any other act, promoted by a group of individuals. Those seeking to dismiss alarm by assigning the old "it's just the conspiracy nut's again", have little thought capability to invest in the argument.
- KJeffV, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5Well said.
- RogerStrong, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Look at it as a court would look at it. A court wants a motive. It demands evidence. It ejects heresay, and rightfully so.
The Amero crowd has plenty of heresay, but no evidence. Lacking evidence, they link to each others' rants and video clips - which in turn do the same. The fake Amero coins still figure prominantly long after they were proven fake. The "Amero" concept itself was dreamt up by a private citizen, not any government or corporation.
Nor do they have a credible motive for why say, Canada, would adopt the Amero. While the U.S. economy and dollar are sinking rapidly, Canada has budget surpluses and is paying off it's debt. Unemployment is at a 33 year low. The U.S. doesn't honor existing trade agreements, so we couldn't trust it with what would be our currency.
C'mon, at least provide *some* evidence for the Amero.- michael4lsu, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5Motive - more wealth, more power. That's what the owners of the private central banks desire. That was the reason the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 was passed in the first place. That was the reason for debasing the dollar against gold. That was the reason for the income tax. The private central bankers are stealing our wealth. If you decide you're ever interested in learning the truth and are willing to spend the time to investigate it, you can at least start by taking 2 hours to watch this documentary on google video. It will tell you all about what these central bankers have done and plan to do. If you're too lazy to watch it, then at least please refrain from trying to dismiss the arguments of people who actually did do some research, or else you just look very ignorant.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-165688030 ...- RogerStrong, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3That gives you some motive for why the *American* banks might want it. But none for Canada. The Canadian banks aren't any more willing to tie the Canadian economy to a sinking ship than the Canadian people are. And the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 doesn't apply to Canada.
I've watched a few of NAU crowd's videos. They're long on theories and accusations, and short on evidence. If you have some proof, or some motive for Canada to join, why not just post it?
To throw your BS back at you, if you're too lazy to provide credible evidence, then at least please refrain from trying to dismiss the arguments of people who actually did do some research, or else you just look very ignorant. - michael4lsu, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5BS? Why do you consider it BS to simply do some research and learn the facts? You obviously didn't and won't watch that documentary. You'll just continue to sit there, be ignorant of the truth, and spew ignorant BS. This is not just Americans that are behind this. It's globally. Canada has its share of globalists, trust me. Canada is much futher along the journey to socialism than America.
- RogerStrong, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1>> Why do you consider it BS to simply do some research and learn the facts?
I have. Your turn.
>> You obviously didn't and won't watch that documentary
I've watched a few of them. There was no evidence, only claims. And there's ALWAYS yet another video, recycling the same claims. Enough. Your turn. Put up or shut up. If this one has any evidence (or even a credible line of reasoning on why Canada would adopt the Amero), post it.
>> Canada is much futher along the journey to socialism than America.
Well sure. That's why it's less likely to join a North American Union Run By Elite Bankers Conspiracy (tm). Socialism is the opposite of your conspiracy. - michael4lsu, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Canada will adopt the Amero because its leaders and central bankers will force it to. Plain and simple. Nobody ever claimed that what they're doing is best for Canada, or America, or the little guys. It's only best for them - the elite. Socialism is not the opposite of this conspiracy. It is essential to it. It is the ultimate vehicle for taking away possessions and wealth from the public, and most importantly, taking away their power in exchange for their extreme dependence on the government that has enslaved them. The elite will have their way unless the truth gets out enough for a public outrage big enough to stop it. But that is unlikely to happen because there are way too many ignorant sheeple like you running around in denial.
As much as I can't stand the way Mexican illegal aliens are flooding America, I have far more respect for Mexicans than I do for the ignorant socialist cowards of Canada. Hey Roger, how's that socialized health care going for you up in Canada? Been sneaking over to America for any treatments lately? Just wait until we are enslaved in global socialism. There will be nowhere to go for real health care anymore. You will have yourself to blame for it. - aerostar, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Amen, m4lsu... you are doing an EXCELLENT job of presenting factual reality. So when do you clock out today? I suppose you will be back to work on Monday morning spreading your half backed lies to undermine important posts.... Did you take an oath?- CaptainNoPants, on 10/10/2007, -3/+15pm, as I do everyday. Do you have a job? I guess it's easier to spam conspiracy theories when you don't have a 9-5 holding you back.
- michael4lsu, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5CaptainNoPants, I have NEVER seen you provide any counter arguments to anything. All you ever do is pop up to bash Ron Paul supporters, Christians, and anything right-wing in general. You never offer anything intelligent to the discussion. Just imature high school banter. Are you proud of yourself? When you go to bed at night, do you think to yourself, "Man, I had a great day of being an ignorant tool today. If I could get a paid doing this as a job, I'd put my pants on and quit looking at porn all day for the promotion to that level of a loser"?
- CaptainNoPants, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1lol, I'm sorry that everything you care about (see: rant about) strikes me as off-balance. I guess I wouldn't have to comment on your nonsense so much if you weren't so belligerent all the time. When you go to bed at night do you think to yourself, "Man, I wish I could stop thinking about some anonymous poster on a website, but alas, it's not meant to be. Oh well, at least I get salisbury steak tomorrow at lunch!"?
Also, how's hating all those homosexuals working out for you?

Go away you have no authority here!
- CaptainNoPants, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2Again, what are you babbling about? I indited myself? You accused me of posting under other names, I posted a question asking if you're crazy.
- RogerStrong, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1Ooooh! I love conspiracies involving the illuminati, Rhodes scholars, shadow governments, globalist bankers and pharmaceutically mind-numbing the population! Especially when the conspiracy has the Bush's and the Clintons as allies. I especially like how you tie gay rights into the globalist bankers thing.
I'm not sure though, why the conspiracy has the Republicans throw the election, when the Republicans are part of the conspiracy....
But keep going - you almost have everything tied together. You only need to incorporate the Vatican ninja hit squad that took out Princess Diana, Kurt Kobain, and Colonel Sanders before they could prevent global warming by destroying the world's supertanker fleet using trained attack clams.- RogerStrong, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1I'm not sure where the Pillsbury Doughboy fits in, though. Looks like some kind of Mini-Me thing with Dick Cheney.
- michael4lsu, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Want to know why you're a total idiot? Because you obviously know enough about these conspiracies that would make a normal person curious enough to dig deeper and find the truth. But you simply dismiss it all as a joke. I guess to ignorant morons like you, it's simply unheard of for people to ever plot and implement a plan that would give them more wealth and power. No way would anyone want to rule the world. Okay, so maybe there were dozens of people who tried to conquer the world by force, but that didn't work to well, but NO WAY would anyone try to dominate the world through covert non-violent means, right? This whole globalism movement REALLY IS all about bringing the poor people out of poverty and making everyone in the world prosperous individuals, right? It has NOTHING to do with a tiny minority of people plotting and scheming their way into global domination and control of all wealth, because who would ever want that? I mean, can you even think of ANYONE in history who ever tried to gain, earn, steal as much wealth as possible? Or anyone who ever tried to take over the world? Oh, and the way that all the current events have been prophesized in the Bible certainly must just be a coincidence! Come on RogerStrong, here's your chance to prove you do not have ***** for brains.
- RogerStrong, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1*Yawn*
- aerostar, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Congrats m4lsu... RS has been outclassed, outmaneuvered, and now he is "outraged" so he YAWN's... Good job! And thanks!
- RogerStrong, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1How so? The guy merely parrotted the same wild conspiracy theories. He offered no evidence whatsoever to back up his claims - only insults.
If you consider this to be outclassing or outmaneuvering, then I truly feel sorry for you. - aerostar, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Roger, you repeatedly prove my Dear Ol' Pappy right... he said, "None is so blind as he who WILL NOT see...!
- RogerStrong, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1So, you're saying that the Amero is a religion; that no evidence or credible line of reasoning is needed because we should just take it on faith?
- RogerStrong, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1How so? The guy merely parrotted the same wild conspiracy theories. He offered no evidence whatsoever to back up his claims - only insults.
- Detritus, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2This is the most confusing comment I've ever read on Digg. You sound like you're rabidly in opposition to these Globalists, but at the same time paint their motives as being genuinely altruistic, and then end with Bible prophesies.
I'm not trying to be a smart ass here but is the summation of your stance: People who want to unite the world to end poverty are your hated enemy, because the Bible tells you so?
- RogerStrong, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1*Yawn*

- DrReaper, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3No matter what you call the money we use its nothing more than a fiat currency. The constitution was written to include provisions to prevent this from happening to us. Maybe they will back the amero with something but I doubt it.
- aerostar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3If we can get Ron Paul in the white house, and get som decent legislators in the House and Senate, then perhaps we can get something better than this fiat money.
- lazerus9, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1To understand where we are and how we got here take a look at :http://www.barefootsworld.net/admiralty.html
No this is not some Porno-site. - thomas7, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1would it be good to invest in gold?
- michael4lsu, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1YES! ...if you don't want to lose money over the next few months. I put most of my money in it and have been doing way better than the market. While the dollar and other foreign currencies devalue themselves and suffer inflation, gold will keep going up. Even the big boys are losing their confidence in the dollar and shifting more towards gold. Silver is more volatile but has the potential of offering even higher returns than gold.
- aerostar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Right on about the gold and silver... Think of this: as a kid, I could buy a coke for a silver dime... and TODAY, you can STILL buy a coke for a silver dime (no, not the silverless dime in current ciruculation.) Hard metal still retains its value. So, buy up all you can, it is a wise investment.
- frankjt, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3AntiHegelian has it right. The ultimate goal is a one-world government. We are now a democracy in name only, as he explains. I want to add that it matters little who is in the White House -- as far as our rights and desires are concerned -- because come next November, once again, our choice will be between two individuals who share the same one-world view. Isn't it interesting how the media spends so little time investigating how the will of the people is being subverted by our government. The vast majority of us want our borders protected, immigration laws enforced and a winding down of our presence in Iraq. My belief is the one-worlders have already gained control of all of our institutions, and they've done so by focusing our attention on divisive issues that have us bickering among ourselves. Deep down, there's not a dime's worth of difference between our two major parties. Their deeds (not their words) reveal their common goal is to destroy our national sovereignty.
- aerostar, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5I regret that I have been busy for the last 3 days, and have not been able to
participate actively in these "spirited" discussions (lol). Michael4lsu, Lazerus9, KJeffV, Darel99 and AntiHegelian have made numerous, consistent valuable contributions here, and elsewhere, as well. Thanks guys!
This Roger Strong from Canada (and he may have numerous pseudonyms, too) is merely a decoy, and a specialist in mis-information. He is the Tokyo Rose of the New World Order.
One reason that my hopes are so high, is because of the growing number of Good Guys, like y'all (previously mentioned above), who make well reasoned and skillfully presented logic. Sincere Americans will listen to the truths you've presented.
I refuse to bow to "the hopeless and helpless" crowd, who will fold their hands and quit. In fact, that is another strategy of the One Worlders, to try to sow the seeds of discouragement among us, in hopes of limiting our efforts, our numbers and our speaking out!
So let's rally for the battle. We are no-where near done... but we ARE gaining!
I cannot remember a time, when we have had such a number (5... MH, DH, AK, RP, & TT [in alpha order]) running for president. We need to favor our preferred candidate, of course, but not trash any of the other "good guys" lest we divide and deplete our own selves.
I STILL believe that this is a campaign that we can WIN...!!!
