  • RogerStrong, on 10/10/2007, -10/+9This is of course, complete BS. The "Amero" idea came from a private citizen, not any government. The coin shown in the article is a novelty coin from a company cashing in on the NAU conspiracy crowd.

    And that's what the NAU is all about: There's a sucker born every minute, and a good conspiracy theory can group them together to make taking their money more effcient. The NAU is this decade's UFO conspiracy.

    When all is said and done, worldnetdaily.com has never produced one shred of evidence for a common currency - only a bunch of fellow conspiracy theorists quoting each other.

    And no-one in the NAU conspiracy theory crowd has come up with a credible reason why Canada would join such a union. The US run up an all-time record debt (even before 9/11) that the rest of the world is increasingly backing away from carrying - especially after the latest subprime mortgage mass fraud. And it's digging itself in deeper. Canada on the other hand has record surpluses, and it paying down it's debt.

    Canada simply isn't going to tie itself to a sinking ship - especially when the U.S., from softwood lumber to durham wheat, refuses to honor *existing* treaties. Which is why Canada is setting up trade agreements with other countries as fast as it can.

    Nope, a common currency won't include Canada, There's no reason to adopt it, and a world of reason not to.

        One could make a very good case for the 9/11 "truthers" and the Amero crowd being paid by Bush and Co. They couldn't ask for a better distraction.

It will speed up the destruction of the American middle class and equalizing us with the poverty of Mexico, expediting the expansion of the divide between the wealthy elite and the lower class. It will begin a new cycle of fiat currency that will automatically gain the confidence of the public simply because it is new and allow these bankers to continue their theft of our wealth through inflation and taxes. Fiat currencies inevitably inflate themselves to worthlessness because they are not backed/limited by gold and therefore become useful tools for siphoning wealth from the public through inflation. This happens at an exponential rate. The dollar is at the point where its rate of inflation has climbed so fast that it is near its end. A new currency will simply allow these bankers to continue the cycle anew. Plus, it will put them one step closer to the global currency. It will also put them another step closer to their global government. We won't have a continental currency without having a continental governing body to regulate business, taxes, and trade with it.

        So here is a good reason to fight a continental currency like the Amero: it would be a giant incremental step toward a global socialist government that will have us all as slaves with no rights. And it will be done at the will of the brainwashed majority who bought the propaganda generated by the globalist elite in lock step with the various crisis they created to justify their agenda.

          As for "other currencies going down with it", name one. Our (Canadian) currency is at a 31-year high against the US dollar, and it's doing well against other world currencies too. Our unemployment is at a 33-year low. We have budget surpluses that we've been using to pay down the debt. We're doing fine.

It's not about fooling the other countries. It's about fooling the little sheeple, and consolidating the wealth and power eventually into one global currency and one global socialist government. Although, you being a Canadian might want a global socialist government, so you should be all in favor of the Amero.

We've all heard about how China is behind it, well maybe that's not the whole story, not that I think China wouldn't love to destroy us financially. Perhaps it's a way to force us to go with the amero, rather than bankrupting the american economy, especially if we suffer an even greater attack on the homeland than 9/11 was.

Every thing in the world done by business and government can be classified as "just a CONSPIRACY". Business and governmental strategy, agreed on by 2 or more individuals meets the criteria for "CONSPIRACY". While the term generally has a clandestine, or negative connotation to it, never the less it is a descriptive term for, shall we say, passing the Patriot Act., or getting a Court nomination passed. or any other act, promoted by a group of individuals.       The Amero crowd has plenty of heresay, but no evidence. Lacking evidence, they link to each others' rants and video clips - which in turn do the same. The fake Amero coins still figure prominantly long after they were proven fake. The "Amero" concept itself was dreamt up by a private citizen, not any government or corporation.

      Nor do they have a credible motive for why say, Canada, would adopt the Amero. While the U.S. economy and dollar are sinking rapidly, Canada has budget surpluses and is paying off it's debt. Unemployment is at a 33 year low. The U.S. doesn't honor existing trade agreements, so we couldn't trust it with what would be our currency.

      C'mon, at least provide *some* evidence for the Amero.

That was the reason the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 was passed in the first place. That was the reason for debasing the dollar against gold. That was the reason for the income tax. If you decide you're ever interested in learning the truth and are willing to spend the time to investigate it, you can at least start by taking 2 hours to watch this documentary on google video. It will tell you all about what these central bankers have done and plan to do. If you're too lazy to watch it, then at least please refrain from trying to dismiss the arguments of people who actually did do some research, or else you just look very ignorant.

The Canadian banks aren't any more willing to tie the Canadian economy to a sinking ship than the Canadian people are. And the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 doesn't apply to Canada.

          I've watched a few of NAU crowd's videos. They're long on theories and accusations, and short on evidence. If you have some proof, or some motive for Canada to join, why not just post it?

While the dollar and other foreign currencies devalue themselves and suffer inflation, gold will keep going up. Even the big boys are losing their confidence in the dollar and shifting more towards gold. Silver is more volatile but has the potential of offering even higher returns than gold.

Think of this: as a kid, I could buy a coke for a silver dime... and TODAY, you can STILL buy a coke for a silver dime (no, not the silverless dime in current ciruculation.) Hard metal still retains its value. So, buy up all you can, it is a wise investment.

I want to add that it matters little who is in the White House -- as far as our rights and desires are concerned -- because come next November, once again, our choice will be between two individuals who share the same one-world view. Isn't it interesting how the media spends so little time investigating how the will of the people is being subverted by our government. The vast majority of us want our borders protected, immigration laws enforced and a winding down of our presence in Iraq. My belief is the one-worlders have already gained control of all of our institutions, and they've done so by focusing our attention on divisive issues that have us bickering among ourselves. Deep down, there's not a dime's worth of difference between our two major parties. Their deeds (not their words) reveal their common goal is to destroy our national sovereignty.

    This Roger Strong from Canada (and he may have numerous pseudonyms, too) is merely a decoy, and a specialist in mis-information. He is the Tokyo Rose of the New World Order.

    One reason that my hopes are so high, is because of the growing number of Good Guys, like y'all (previously mentioned above), who make well reasoned and skillfully presented logic. Sincere Americans will listen to the truths you've presented.

    I refuse to bow to "the hopeless and helpless" crowd, who will fold their hands and quit. In fact, that is another strategy of the One Worlders, to try to sow the seeds of discouragement among us, in hopes of limiting our efforts, our numbers and our speaking out!

    So let's rally for the battle. We are no-where near done... but we ARE gaining!

    I cannot remember a time, when we have had such a number (5... MH, DH, AK, RP, & TT [in alpha order]) running for president. We need to favor our preferred candidate, of course, but not trash any of the other "good guys" lest we divide and deplete our own selves.

    I STILL believe that this is a campaign that we can WIN...!!!
