translated: i didn't give a ***** about you before and since i'm about 6 months away from not being "responsible" for you people anymore, i really don't give a ***** about how i'm going to leave all you poor bastards.- algaeturd, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1well translated...
- EricaBZ, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1Agreed!
- rebelcapitalist, on 07/17/2008, -1/+8He has done his job. Record profits and bail outs for his top contributors. We get stuck with war, record debt levels, higher prices and possibly stagflation.
- Pitofdoom, on 07/17/2008, -1/+8There's no American economy left, just paper pushing ponzi scheme bull *****, robbing Peter and Paul ! Except for natural resources America has noting to pay it's debts back with !
- dupswapdrop, on 07/17/2008, -1/+9Bush = worst president ever!
- ProLick, on 07/20/2008, -0/+2Or at least one of the worser deciders ever. :)
- EricaBZ, on 07/17/2008, -1/+4I still can't believe he has the gall to basically tell the American people he's turning a blind eye to one of the top issues we're dealing with currently.
- VigRoco, on 07/17/2008, -5/+2Hey, we are still the freaking UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! No matter how bad off we are, we will bounce back because we are the most resilient country on the face of the planet.
Believe in America and we can change it for the better!- CataKlysmiC, on 07/17/2008, -2/+3Actually those sort of speeches on belief have a tendency to skewer peoples mind into thinking that believing is all it takes... bs, time for action, time for individualism... when is the last you thought for your self and weren't a sheep?
- PolishLogic, on 07/17/2008, -0/+1"when is the last you thought for your self "
Don't you mean to say "don't think like those people, think exactly like me and my people"?

- PolishLogic, on 07/17/2008, -2/+2It's odd, listening to a sizable amount of diggers, our country sucks ass. Yet, strangely enough people are still lining up to come here, or sneaking in without waiting in line.
On the flip side, not a lot of people are rushing to get the ***** out.
I'd imagine that quite a few of these diggers would be driven to suicide if they had to deal with the events of the late 70's & early 80's.

- kavutu, on 07/17/2008, -0/+3Bush need to just go away and take his cabel of henchmen with hime. I thought he was going to be a good and decent man when elected 8 years ago but I have been proven wrong. Cheney is the real disgusting member of this pack of eletist bums. they have their inherited money and they could give a rats ass less about the normal Americans who are the heart and soul of this great nation. I am all for impeachment proceeding against Bush and Cheney. Obama is even worse and McCain is no Mensa member so we are in for a real screw job unless WE do something about what is taking place in DC.
- guptas08, on 07/17/2008, -1/+1guys he is all set to take iran
- carnivalofmmo, on 07/17/2008, -0/+1Iran FTW
- PolishLogic, on 07/17/2008, -0/+1You could also apply that to Obama. Unless you missed his speech the other day where he stated he was prepared to use all aspects of US power in dealing with Iran.
- livelife365, on 07/17/2008, -0/+1it's all about oil...everything.
- carnivalofmmo, on 07/17/2008, -1/+1It's not about oil. It's about freedom. They hate us for our freedom.
- Vali585, on 07/17/2008, -0/+2Nah, it's the Fed's fiat Dollar, Stupid!
- richmomz, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1"Sweet, free money! Why didn't anyone think of this before? We'll just back our currency with nothing and print as much as we want - we'll be rich! We will just tell everyone that it's just as good as gold and they will be too stupid to say otherwise. What could possibly go wrong?" -The Nixon Administration, 1971, after taking the dollar off the gold standard and replacing it with a baseless fiat-standard.
- carnivalofmmo, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1At least with FIAT money, when inflation hits 13% our debt to china gets smaller.
- swrostmore, on 07/18/2008, -1/+2"It's a class war, stupid." (Actual title)
http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Zero_Savings_Rat ... - oconnor11, on 07/18/2008, -1/+1Ron Paul is finally being recognized for the economic intellectual that he is. We need Dr. Paul in this time of economic crisis to lead us. Neither Obama nor McCain are prepared for an economic disaster. I would much rather have someone stalwart and knows the economy to help guide us through the quagmire our country is in. Dr. Paul got Fed chairman, Ben Bernanke, yesterday to admit that inflation is a tax on the middle and poor classes. We didn't elect Bernanke and where does our Constitution give the Federal Reserve the right to tax Americans? Please consider Dr. Paul if by some miracle he is nominated the Republican candidate. If it did happen and he beat Obama, remember that Obama is young and more years of experience will only make him stronger for our future. I don't see Dr. Paul getting nominated and I can conceivably see Obama becoming our next president but I don't have faith that he will be able to save America from what is coming. I just pray that whoever is elected, they do not take away our freedoms and Constitution.
- sacprif, on 07/19/2008, -0/+0To your question "where does our Constitution give the Federal Reserve the right to tax Americans" can be added:
"Why are we taxed on our efforts, that is our work, profits, interest and trade when a single land tax which depends only on what monetary benefits our land holding(s) enjoy will generate the same taxes? It is administered like rates and taxes.
