Long Tail gamed by 200,000 computer-generated 'worst-sellers

nytimes.com — Phillip Parker created a system that would allow computers to compile information and write books for him on virtually any niche topic. The books can publish on demand and don't cost but 12 cents in electricity to produce. The internet has officially made it profitable to be a horrible author.
