OceanWorks Proposes Off-Shore San Diego Airport with Fast Ferry or Tunnel

avweb.com — The airport would be 10 miles off the coast. "We aim to make it the most secure, self-sustaining, economically vibrant, and greenest airport ever built." The company wants exclusive rights to 40,000 square miles of ocean for the airport and industrial, commercial, farming, and even "ocean-based metropolises."
