    Its true that a lot of comments are rubbish but this is in my opinion a fixable problem.

thewump, on 06/19/2008, -0/+1Incomplete without they guys at 37signals who not only are the force behind Ruby on Rails, but more importantly show and teach that charging people for services on the internet is a viable proposition - instead of doing stuff for free and waiting to get bought by Google. Their non-venture capital approach is a breath of fresh air.

nick1971, on 06/19/2008, -0/+1There seems to be two problems at the moment with the Internet at the moment. Any body can create a blog and the accuracy of the info in the blog is controlled by no-one.
My hope with digg is that its members perform pier review on articles from certain blogs. The pier revue process of academic papers provide information on how reliable the research is and would be used in the Internet world to verify the quality of information in a blog.
