      Well, EXPLAIN IT YOU WILL, *****. You had the kids, now you answer their legitimate questions about life. And don't punish the rest of us because it makes you "uncomfortable."

      Goddamned pathetic. Meanwhile, we have a ***** of Viagra and Cialis ads on. How do you explain THAT, you backward-ass hipocrites?

Those same parents are so proud of their sons when they get girlfriends and have sex but they try and kill anything that comes near their daughters. They can't believe it when their kids have kids because when kids go into puberty they hide everything having to do with sex and pretend it doesn't exists. Pathetic parents, I wish for you 100yrs of fail.

It is there because "we the people" want it there. There are plenty of ways for you to see pornography, so leave it alone. You must not be a parent. It 's not easy to explain deviancy to a four year old. That is why we shield them from folks like you until they are old enough to comprehend what perverse is.

        Then why don't you censor violence while your at it. We certainly don't want our kids exposed to guns, killing, and fighting because you know they may start fights in school or bring guns and knives and *****. Lets censor mature programs too like Sex in the City because someone's kid may watch it. Why do have to censor just sex? Is nudity so evil that you would rather have your kids look at killing and destruction than a half-naked woman? In fact why don't we have nothing but kid's shows and kid's advertisement so they can never be influenced and it would be less work for us because who wants to be responsible for raising their own kids and teaching them the difference between right and wrong.

        No one said raising a kid would be a walk in the park. If you are a parent then you should know this. If you want to give up when it gets hard then don't get mad when the kid doesn't turn out the way you expect her to.

        I'm an American and went to Germany. Once I got off the subway I noticed an ad with a fully naked chick dousing herself in milk. It was a "Got Milk?" ad. I did not see a huge group of men around the picture tittilated by what they saw.

        I think the line from Eurotrip is necessary here... "You know that America was founded by a bunch of prudes, right?"

        Oh and at the local swimming pool a lot of women would go topless and I didn't see a lot of men staring. I think since they grow up with naked bodies it is less "horrifying" for them than us. We just believe that nudity is wrong and thus shouldn't be condoned. The problem is that we are all naked underneath. It's not like shielding your child from the goatse picture on the internet.

    Sex is natural, the human body is a beautiful thing in all shapes and sizes yet gets censored. Grand Theft Auto is brutal and violent yet gets advertised on prime time. Granted I don't have a teenage daughter, but when I look at the fashions being peddled to our children, I am appalled sometimes. It is not about sex is not about sex but lust and in the case of Calvin Klein it is about the lust for money, selling another bottle of expensive scented alcohol water mixture to girls under the illusion that without it they will not be a woman

We see them the day we are born, and feed off them. We all even have nipples, even though guys nipples usually have more hair around them and not as much "fat". Heck there is even nude news in some countries.
      So why is it, in America, that from age X (insert day mom stopped undressing around you) to 18 you are forbidden from seeing them again? Is a breast really worse than a nude butt that you can see on prime time TV? We get to see Dennis Franz ugly butt, but 1/2 a second of 1/2 a sexy nipple is too much?

    If people are so offended by other humans maybe it's time they gave up on humanity and go live in a cave away from everyone else, even then they're still going to be near two, or three, nipples.

      Carshadfan is right but in some countries and regions the cultural laws have failed to catch up to modern times and hence the women have no choice to wear the veils or not while in others the women choose to wear veils for social acceptance and maybe even modesty, if they understand the deeper meanings of it. This is no different from western women wearing mini skirts, hot pants or g-strings.

    then again, janet jackson's nipple slip did cause a lot of controversy, so i guess i can understand why tv networks dont want to show it. and unless CK had planned to use this censorship as part of a media buzz to gain more publicity for its products, it lost a lot of money making the advertisement and not getting much viewership.

Most of the time I don't even pay attention to what's on tv especially the commercials. If no one has pointed it out that Mendes' nipple was exposed, I would probably NOT have noticed it.

    Seeing the commercial, I don't see what the fuss is all about. It's a nipple, nothing scary about that. If it offends someone so much just switch to another channel or turn off the tv.
    There's no point raising hell about it.
