      It's really not that great. They distrust Americans greatly, stare at you incessantly, and none of them are as hot as the AV models you see on TV / intarwebs. I wish that websites would stop propagating this idea that Japan is a land of video games, hot women, arcades, and all around strange *****. To be honest, Japan is one of the least exciting places I've ever been, and I've lived many a place while in the Air Force.

      My message to the internets: Get over Japan already.

        In Japan they have the same programming there as in the states, just recently they got Battlestar Galactica and they also air Lost. There are some Japanese improv shows, stupid game shows, etc, and even anime, or the more violent ones late at night... But for the most part, anything you can imagine, will be on tv there. They have really good documentaries and news specials too

      I do like Japan and japanese people, in school I had a foreign exchange teacher for a while who was from Japan. He was a nice guy. Name was Takashi. But yeah, like any country it has its good and bad points.

In Japan people do decorate things like their cell phones and stuff with little stickers or tie little stuffed animals to them, of various cutesy things and what not, but Sanrio's characters are an old fad that long died out. Your stereotype is ridiculous and silly. Adults and Cops especially in Japan aren't going to be decorating themselves or their work area with Hello Kitty stuff, because that is considered otaku, which in America is not a bad thing because people here don't mind being a geek or nerd, but in Japan, when you're being called "otaku", it's a bad thing. It means you're too obsessed with pointless things, there's nothing wrong with being into manga or anime, or stuff like that, but being obsessed with it, the way American fans of anime are, is not something people want to be labeled in Japan.

        And don't be too quick to say being an "otaku" in America is something to be proud of. It is only perceived that way BY that specific group.. I consider myself an anime fan, but gravitate towards more mature themes, and I believe in honoring the integrity of a series, not doing ***** like creating my "ideal couples" from the shows and whatever other stupid ***** these kids are doing... not that shows like Naruto exactly have integrity anyways.

But on the other hand they are the prettiest and have some of the biggest natural breasts. If you guys look at a lot of photographs from japan, you will see that in most of them the shots are above knees or just below them, to exclude calves, which are very massive.

      I would have to say that out of asians, the best overall are from shanghai, many might disagree, but I like my women tall, around 175cm cm and who have great legs. Vietnamese girls are good too.

    Models from other countries are usually pasted with bold thick makeup that, usually, looks ugly and completely unnatural. You won't find professional Japanese models with bright red lipstick and deep blue makeup caked all around their eyes.

They do racial profiling, can hold you for up to 3 weeks without telling your why or charging you, and the police are allowed to coerce confessions. You're stopped randomly if you ride a bike so police can check your bike's serial number against a list of stolen bikes. If there is no serial number, you'll be hauled in and accused of removing it from your stolen item.

        So, unless the U.S. suddenly allows people to be accused of crimes based on their appearance alone, you're still worse off in Japan.

        All of the people who love Japan are otaku type losers who are dreaming of a life that doesn't exist. The lucky losers can come over here and grab a few willing gaijin-hungry yellow cabs, but most are no better off in Japan than back home.

    Most western-style toilets in public washrooms have heated seats (and yes, they will spray up and wash you if you so choose).
    Porn, both photographed, molded (figurines, statues, etc), and drawn are available... EVERYWHERE.

    Can't wait to go back.
