      I'd never thought so, but having a Playboy lying around in the bathroom actually improves your chances with the girls, at least with the kind of girl I like (smart and open-minded + hopefully a bit bi ;-) )

        And yes, there are lots of girls that like guys that are open-minded when it comes to these things. Being comfortable with people knowing you like to look at girls is a very good thing. You're not a pervert if you like to look at female curves, and you don't have to hide it.

        Girls actually like it when they see you're strong enough in character to have a Playboy lying around for all the world to see. And they do also like to look at the playboy.


        All this is probably much easier in Germany than in the US, because we didn't really let the church have anything to say in our morals, we really prefer rational morals over religious.
        The body is a natural thing for us, and to enjoy looking at it is not a "sin" or appaling. That's also why we can have full nudity in a movie that is rated for ages six and above.

      Gay people are only sexually attracted to one sex, not both. If someone, who self-identifies as gay, is attracted to both sexes, then they are really just confused bisexuals.

She said something along the lines of "why ignore 50% of the population?" *shrug* I'm not much for judging people's sexualities; I have several friends that others have called sluts (and in some cases it was true), and it really matters very little to me.

        Anyway, some studies have actually shown (note: inconclusive, but scientifically non-negligible, results) that women are all bisexual with a preference one way or the other, and that men are uniformly gay or straight, never bisexual. A study of 93 self-described bisexual men (note small sample size, and the fact that they were all from one neighborhood in Manhattan), every single one reacted sexually to pornography of one gender and not the other. None reacted to neither, and none reacted to both. Couldn't be generalized, but 100% is intriguing... Similar studies with women have been less perfect (i.e. not 100%), but also have been done more, so there's greater ability to generalize it.

        So yeah, there are some indications that men are unisexual (totally made up that word; I mean gay or straight) and women are bisexual, and that's just how things are.

        Then of course you have those who argue for the reality of more genders, and you could also get into the differences between biological gender and gender identification, etc etc, but that's far too much detail for a Digg post.
