        I really don't like her, she represents everything I hate about women. Luckily over the last couple seasons her schemes have been failing harder and harder. Poor Hank always having to clean up her messes.

        well, close, but it's not because we are Digg users that we will bury you - it's because most Digg users are intelligent, independent minded people who can find information and make informed decisions based on that information. You might say that Digg users are some of the MOST informed people on the internet - so it is with "facts" that support our stance on things, such as the common view that Obama/Biden will be good leaders that you are Dugg down - not with malevolence or intolerance - just sound reasoning.

        The people at newsvine, and especially slashdot, are more informed than digg. Point 'n case: digg's most popular diggs are often comics (namely xkcd), funny/interesting pictures, screencaps of comments on diggs website, followed up by a bunch of useless political articles (not to mention the bias).

        Few of the popular politics articles are actually noteworthy. They're generally usesless ones like "OMG THEY DIDNT SHAKE HANDS" followed by "OH WAIT, NVM THEY DID" plus the obligitory "MCLAME SUCKS" and counter "NO OBAMA SUCKS" the latter of which gets burred...

        "We're an intelligent group" is a bad argument. See: Groupthink.

        take what i said and reword it - I didn't say that "Digg users are the most informed people on the internet" - granted i said something to that effect but the devil is in the details and i formed my statement as an opinion, not a fact. Also by re-wording my comment you opened the door to disprove something i didn't say - well done.

        Obviously everyone's experience on any given website will vary - if you are the type of person who only reads the most Dugg articles than you self filter out real stories - that's not Digg's fault it's yours.

        I aslo didn't say "we're an intelligent group" - i simply implied that people who spend time on Digg or other social news sites generally have the time and resources to be better informed.
