    Yep. Job from hell. I used to delete sales calls from little old ladies, cause they'd buy our worthless ***** just to have someone to talk to. I couldn't bring myself to profit from that. Man I'm glad I don't have to do that anymore.

  • Rudigity, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Can I just say, I am actually an IT admin at a telemarketing company(until I can find a new job) and it is the absolute worst job I have ever had. It pains me to have to be tasked to making sure people get bothered in their homes for a living. I'm sure I'll be dugg down pretty fast but I wanna say SORRY!! I always make sure that the "Time Warner" issue is out of my control so there's as much downtime as I can possibly get away with. By the way, there are much better pranks than this that people in my office get all the time, if i can sneak one out maybe I'll upload some.

  • kyxmu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1kind of on the topic of telemarketing, my younger brother once had to 'volunteer' to work in a call center for a group that did political surveys. he said that the only people that would actually talk to you were little old ladies. needless to say he now takes all poll results w/ a serious grain of salt.
