  • huffapuff, on 10/12/2007, -5/+16Funny, until I started understanding the dialogue... The movie is called Apoorva Sahodarargal, its a Tamil movie (Southern-most state in India). The movie came out in the '80s... Movies of this caliber are par for course for Tamil movies back in the day- sad to say. Creepy is right... Suffice to say, Tamil movies these days are nothing like this- more at the level of Bollywood cinema.

They're all campy, I can watch w/o subtitles and figure out what's going on b/c they ALL have the same story line/same scenes (gotta have that song & dance in rain/waterfall!). The actors can't act and generally look like Jim Carey on speed with their overacting. The only *fun* thing about them is the ***** translations in the subtitles...

      Sigh... but she can cook, so I keep her around, despite her love of bollywood crap. :-)
