        the daily show offers a bit of truth and a bit of stretched truth for laughs. they know and you know damn well what's meant to be a joke.

        big news media gives you a bit of truth and a bit of stretched truth for ratings, but try to pander it all as fact.

    This obviously doesn't discredit the entire video but I would expect the daily show ( I know, still on comedy central ) to be above spreading rumours which are known to be false.

      While watching McCain's RNC speech I did turn to my wife and say "he's jinxed", and now after reading fact check i think he's even more jinxed. His whole military career is a comedy of errors. Just not ha ha funny.

FactCheck.org has a nice article on when McCain did this in an an add. http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/context_in ... Both of the remarks are meant as relative comments comparing Iran and the USSR which was a nuclear superpower. He does say that they are a serious threat to the region (they don't have ICBM, or nuclear capabilities currently) and that we should have diplomatic talks with them rather than political-isolation policy.
