    • thecosmicpope, on 07/07/2008, -2/+4Doesn't really matter much. Animation is easily edited now days to fit the voices. As you can see they took several takes of some (probably almost all) vocals, so the animation would probably have to be smoothed over them anyway.

      Although I do believe I watched a special once where they had a "rough draft" of the film being played as the voice actors did their dialogue. So some studio's might draw the key frames before the dialogue and then do the in between frames after the dialogue.
      So to answer your question. The main animation as a whole is finished after the voices are recorded.
