- evernerve, on 02/13/2008, -6/+40looks great... the only thing that bugged me is that the website expands my browser window...I HATE that. Otherwise, panda kicks ass
- Jrr6415sun, on 02/13/2008, -5/+27this movie looks horrible.. what is the story? was any of that supposed to be funny?... now if it would have been a movie like beverly hills ninja and staring chris farley i might be more interested.
- Prometheus, on 02/13/2008, -0/+11That would indeed be more interesting, mostly because Chris Farley is dead.
- capiCrimm, on 02/14/2008, -7/+1that's what she said...

- madwh, on 02/13/2008, -3/+1He said it looks great because it sounds good with what follows. I hate stupid people that don't maximize the window when needed by the way.
- wjackson, on 02/13/2008, -0/+8Firefox: tools > options > content > advanced (Javascript settings) > Move or resize existing windows > uncheck.
- aimhelix, on 02/17/2008, -0/+1As a designer - sometimes we have to do that. It sucks though when I know sites over utilize it - and I'll admit that I hate browser window resizing myself. But in this case, that site was worth it. Well done.

- quigles3000, on 02/13/2008, -10/+2I can't believe I actually want to see this. That makes me a saaaad panda.
- Athens101, on 02/13/2008, -7/+3II hear you and was going to stop watching the trailer until the Kill Bill music kicked it. Gah! Now I want to see it.
- CaptainM4d, on 02/13/2008, -2/+21The visuals are brilliant. I simply love the colors of this movie.
- floatingpoints, on 02/13/2008, -8/+40Cool. More computer generated movies with things that talk that would normally never talk.
Let's see, we had bees, cars, toys, fish... now pandas.
Maybe next we should make a movie about a talking computer whose user downloads a virus and then through the talking internet infects all the other talking computers. And the virus can be voiced by Keifer Sutherland.- LovelyNeko, on 02/13/2008, -8/+1We need a movie based on Digg's comment section.
- noseeme, on 02/13/2008, -0/+8Probably wouldn't do very well.

- LovelyNeko, on 02/13/2008, -8/+1We need a movie based on Digg's comment section.
- greenriver572, on 02/13/2008, -5/+18that looks terrible. jack black, what has happened to you? i can only hope be kind rewind saves your ass, because the last funny thing i saw you in was the pick of destiny, and most people hated that.
- MCCULLAH, on 02/13/2008, -0/+8that was the last thing he did.....
- mugicha, on 02/13/2008, -0/+5King Kong was hilarious.
- AndrewDB, on 02/13/2008, -10/+2Holy crap.. that actually looks great!
- MasterPlayer, on 02/13/2008, -8/+2This movie better not suck. Then again, it might be impossible for it too. How can you screw up a ***** panda that knows kung fu?
- SemiSarcastic, on 02/13/2008, -2/+4One movie rule that I always follow for all movies: If the main character is an animal that can do something outrageous but is perfectly normal for a human to do, then there's a good chance its going to suck.
- DNABeast, on 02/13/2008, -0/+1also it's by Dreamworks SKG who created Shrek and then three terrible CGI films a year and huge amounts of cash.
- Innisskillin, on 02/13/2008, -9/+9I can't "bear" to watch this. Bamboooooooo!
- anagoge, on 02/13/2008, -5/+3What a furry bad pun.
- e61iuser, on 02/13/2008, -0/+11Why not remake old animated films in CG using their original sound recordings? Flight of Dragons and The Last Unicorn would be perfect candidates for it. Or maybe even TRON. I'm imagining lots of people would pay to see that. I know I would.
- neodorian, on 02/13/2008, -0/+1Although I like those both as they already are, I believe there is a much-delayed version of TLU in the works. Not sure if it's still in production or if it's been canned.
- e61iuser, on 02/13/2008, -0/+1Hey that's interesting! It would be sad if it was canned though. An even worse crime is the fact that Flight of Dragons has never been released in DVD.
The main advantage to having the old animated films rendered in CG would be that there could be alternate points of views and camera angles added to the film.
- e61iuser, on 02/13/2008, -0/+1Hey that's interesting! It would be sad if it was canned though. An even worse crime is the fact that Flight of Dragons has never been released in DVD.
- jcaffoe, on 02/13/2008, -2/+0or they could stay away from the sequels and remakes that plague the film industry. I would rather pay to see fresh, original content than a remade version of anything.
- e61iuser, on 02/13/2008, -0/+3*Looks again at the Kung Fu Panda trailer*. Remind me to discuss with you sometime your definition of the terms "fresh" and "original".
- reaper527, on 02/13/2008, -0/+2i'd be pretty content with a simple re-release of Flight of Dragons. i haven't seen that movie since i was 10, and it doesn't seem to exist anywhere. a remastered dvd would be great
- rascilon, on 02/13/2008, -0/+0A TRON sequel is already in the concept phase of pre-production. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tron_%28film%29#Seque ...
- neodorian, on 02/13/2008, -0/+1Although I like those both as they already are, I believe there is a much-delayed version of TLU in the works. Not sure if it's still in production or if it's been canned.
- camkerr, on 02/13/2008, -5/+3fullscreen flash video and its downloading at 30kb/s....cute
- noseeme, on 02/13/2008, -5/+50LeZeb (Poster of this story) works for DreamWorks and is an artist for this movie. I guess that kind of makes this spam.
- pathy, on 02/13/2008, -1/+19I don't understand why. If he hadn't submitted it someone else would have - and it would have likely taken longer. People dugg it, and thus like it, so no harm no foul.
- LeZeb, on 02/13/2008, -0/+18That was not my intent to spam, just trying to share...
- anagoge, on 02/13/2008, -1/+16So wait, because someone may be proud of their achievement and want others to enjoy what they've been working on for no doubt two years or so, they are to be considered spammers instead of artists wanting to get their work known? I think not.
- mrblue182, on 02/13/2008, -1/+1that all depends, but you knowing that much about LeZeb is stalking, is it not?
- pathy, on 02/13/2008, -1/+19I don't understand why. If he hadn't submitted it someone else would have - and it would have likely taken longer. People dugg it, and thus like it, so no harm no foul.
- MrNexus, on 02/13/2008, -1/+14I would like to think I have a good sense of humor but just didn't find that trailer funny.
- hugemuscles, on 02/13/2008, -1/+15every time an advertisement makes the front page, an angel gets its wings (and some money)
- kingofinternet, on 02/13/2008, -7/+24looks like a steaming pile of panda *****
- kneelB4zod, on 02/13/2008, -1/+9Truer words have never been spoken.
- swrostmore, on 02/13/2008, -1/+6This trailer could not possibly be more cliched, and I do not mean that in a good ironic sense.
- Tomchei, on 02/13/2008, -0/+16Isn't this a remake of Beverly Hills Ninja??
Seriously, Dreamworks animation is very lacking.
That Into the Wild was boring, Over the Hedge is probably it's best outside of the first 2 Shreks but it only has a few watchable moments. As a whole the movie was the same as every other Dreamworks animation, forgettable.
Sharks Tale or whatever is just garbage and forgettable, Shrek 3, awful.
Some of the trailer looks interesting but I'd bet that on the whole, it'll be forgettable.
Anybody remember Antz?- maggock, on 02/13/2008, -0/+3Into the Wild? You mean The Wild? That was produced by Disney and farmed out to some Canadian studio back when they thought they were going to lose Pixar.
Dreamworks did Madagascar, which was better than the Wild, but still no Shrek.- Tomchei, on 02/13/2008, -0/+1I meant Madagascar. See, forgettable movie.
Whatever copycat goes around, Madagascar = The Wild = forgettable.
Chicken Little = forgettable
Meet the Robinsons = awful and forgettable
Even though A Bugs Life and Cars are somewhat lackluster by popular vote, they're much better than anything Dreamworks has put out in the animation.- maggock, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1Agreed. I fear Dreamworks is going the way of mid-90's Disney - pumping out movies as fast as they can, favoring money over story.
I can't believe they're putting two 3-D movies out this year in an already saturated market.
- maggock, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1Agreed. I fear Dreamworks is going the way of mid-90's Disney - pumping out movies as fast as they can, favoring money over story.
- Tomchei, on 02/13/2008, -0/+1I meant Madagascar. See, forgettable movie.
- MCCULLAH, on 02/13/2008, -1/+10pixar > dreamworks
- maggock, on 02/13/2008, -0/+3Into the Wild? You mean The Wild? That was produced by Disney and farmed out to some Canadian studio back when they thought they were going to lose Pixar.
- SemiSarcastic, on 02/13/2008, -2/+7*walks into a store* Yes I'd like to buy a gun please.
- Alfonzo, on 02/13/2008, -1/+2"and one bullet"
- vofuse, on 02/13/2008, -4/+14Digg me down for complaining, but QuickTime is a real pain sometimes.
- SeraphimJulius, on 02/13/2008, -3/+1Panda Panda Panda Panda!!
God Pandas are awesome - Jordanballa17, on 02/13/2008, -1/+8it's already been done...beverly hills ninja
- Kyosuke86, on 02/13/2008, -0/+4Then only pandas worth watching are those in the wild and sexual harassment panda.
- MCCULLAH, on 02/13/2008, -0/+3im surprised they didn't say jackie chan was in it....which he is
- chingy1788, on 02/13/2008, -0/+1hes the monkey
but i heard no jackie chan voice
what is this?!?
- chingy1788, on 02/13/2008, -0/+1hes the monkey
- chinolofus, on 02/13/2008, -1/+1even that new martin road trip movie looks funnier. thats saying alot.
- silverwolf761, on 02/13/2008, -0/+2Martin and any derivative of the word "funny" should NEVER be used together, unless "not" comes between them. Eg. Martin is not funny.
- likwidfuzion, on 02/13/2008, -0/+5Honestly, I'm waiting for Jackie Chan & Jet Li's new movie: "The Forbidden Kingdom"
Trailer: http://www.stage6.com/HD-Movie-Trailers/video/2215 ...- Braingoo, on 02/14/2008, -1/+1WOW! that looks amazing.
- capnarrr, on 02/13/2008, -0/+0Now YOU'RE endangered!
- AlKo, on 02/13/2008, -0/+1WTF
- Subriot, on 02/13/2008, -4/+2I must say, Dreamworks Animation has caught up with Pixar pretty fast.
- Zapita, on 02/13/2008, -0/+6they may be close in animation, but they are still far FAAAAAAAR AWAY in story development
- silverwolf761, on 02/13/2008, -0/+4Agreed. Shrek 3 was a travesty in terms of Humour, Personality and Story. Maybe starting a new franchise is just what they need. No more quick franchise cash-ins please? I'm going to reserve judgment until later, but I am cautiously optimistic.
- Shananra, on 02/13/2008, -0/+4Caught up in what way? The art direction in this trailer was inconsistent and mediocre, believability was thrown completely out the window, and Dreamworks can't spit out a good story lately to save themselves.
Pixar managed to make talking cars believable, and made the audience come to love a rat. They don't need pop culture, bathroom humor, clichés or even dialog to be hilarious. This trailer didn't manage to cross into the threshold of funny, so I'd say Dreamworks doesn't even come close.- gudnbluts, on 02/13/2008, -2/+0"made the audience come to love a rat"
Really? I tried to watch it with a bunch of friends and we all agreed to stop after half an hour. I don't think we've ever done that before. Even Shrek 3 (which wasn't funny) kept our interest better than that.
- gudnbluts, on 02/13/2008, -2/+0"made the audience come to love a rat"
- Subriot, on 02/13/2008, -0/+1I'm talking about animation-looking wise, not story-looking wise.
- maggock, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1I agree with you there, but compared to story, the animation part is easy to master.
- Zapita, on 02/13/2008, -0/+6they may be close in animation, but they are still far FAAAAAAAR AWAY in story development
- TheAtomicMoose, on 02/13/2008, -2/+3Man... Jack Blacks delivery is as stale as... dare I say, a panda?
- silverwolf761, on 02/13/2008, -0/+3I had no idea Pandas were known for being stale....
- Entheoddity, on 02/13/2008, -0/+3I agree, who wants to listen to jack blacks voice without its signature bravado?
- JordanM85, on 02/13/2008, -0/+2would not see for free.
- Asberry, on 02/13/2008, -0/+2I'd much rather see Jack Black in another "Drunk History" as Ben Franklin.
- JimbobtheSalesm, on 02/13/2008, -2/+1Ron Paul
- catachip, on 02/13/2008, -1/+2Obamania!
- Zybergod, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1.. the hell?
- IIGrudge, on 02/13/2008, -0/+6Dreamworks can't capture the spirit and heart that Pixar can.
- dunadan67, on 02/13/2008, -0/+1Wow that was a really unfunny trailer with a cheesy, cliched soundtrack. Who would see this instead of Pixar's Wall-E? Not me.
- Slayerdude51982, on 02/13/2008, -1/+1Seriously how does this kinda crap get dugg to the front page?
- fosibodu, on 02/13/2008, -1/+2Absolutely beautiful!!!
- gudnbluts, on 02/13/2008, -0/+0I can't watch it at work, but is it a USification of Ranma?
- dvdcr, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1No.
- sgyoung, on 02/13/2008, -0/+0Digg Loser Movie.
- missingnoh4x, on 02/13/2008, -0/+2Listen, Jack Black, please stop churning out ***** movies and go back to making fantastic albums.
- fxu1989, on 02/13/2008, -0/+2Well, I'm not into movies and stuff ... but after so many negative comments, here you go:
I liked it :) - umeadi, on 02/13/2008, -0/+0I am I the only one who doesn't particularly find Jack Black that amusing?
- add2700, on 02/13/2008, -2/+0WTF. This is blatant advertising. FTW Corporate America
- henhouse0, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1This movie looks a little too.... unrealistic; I mean a Kung-Fu Panda? lol.
- Auraness, on 02/14/2008, -2/+1Speaking as a Chinese, I LOVE IT!
- littlegraydude, on 02/14/2008, -1/+2Buried because Dreamworks is consistently inferior to Pixar
- Zybergod, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1The comments on this thread are more interesting than this whole movie will be.
Will not see. - toeMas, on 02/14/2008, -0/+0Looks good, but didn't Chris Farley already make this movie?
- Scrollfx, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1Next Dreamworks projects: Dundee the Kangaroo, Hockey Beaver, Fast food Eagle, and Taco Chihuahua.
Seriously, it's only a trailer but I already find the panda to be really annoying. - smek2, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1Oh golly, even more CGI animated talking animals.
- galapagos, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1hehe... pandamonium
