- Dylson, on 12/11/2007, -1/+6MA MIND HAZ BEEN BLOW'D
- goonnoodles, on 12/11/2007, -9/+1Well if you want to create photoshop art like this, Adobe has a number you can call to get actual photoshopping help, they understand everything and are trained to deal with customers, give em a call (239)540-0722
- bluepass, on 12/11/2007, -2/+11PHOTOSHOPPED!
- GeorgeClayton, on 12/11/2007, -2/+2These are good, however they're FAR from mind-blowing; I see better every day on CGTalk.com (or even the place I work).
- fantafanta, on 12/10/2007, -3/+42I can't believe the amount of details on some of these entries...there's gotta be like a billion clipping paths on the space station
- imbob, on 12/10/2007, -2/+85this makes me sad on account i will always suck at photoshop :(
- simpleid, on 12/10/2007, -2/+16because you think that is exactly why, we are what we accept and choose to tolerate.
- shaggy25, on 12/10/2007, -4/+3Tolerate this.
- Iwantawii, on 12/10/2007, -1/+23I thought we are what we eat? Now I'm confused.
- lordterrin, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1welcome to the digg philosophy forums
- ch33sehead, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1I'm pretty sure we are just what we digest.
- simpleid, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1my statement supports that view, the food you accept to eat. you are what you accept. it takes more than food to make who you are though, there's more to consider than just your physical fitness ... or lack of.
- bbqsalad, on 12/11/2007, -0/+8Practice makes perfect :-)
- michaelb1, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1Yoda?
- simpleid, on 12/10/2007, -2/+16because you think that is exactly why, we are what we accept and choose to tolerate.
- phlezk, on 12/10/2007, -22/+190wow, some of those were horrible. Do you guys never visit DeviantArt? Some of this stuff doesn't even hold a candle to the stuff you see daily on there...
- marksism, on 12/10/2007, -6/+121Yeah, this ain't ***** compared to furry zelda anime
- johnny222, on 12/10/2007, -5/+7Yes, that is one thing that sucks about deviantART, but some of the other artists on there are incredible. I've been posting my photos on there long enough to see people like http://gilad.deviantart.com and http://divineerror.deviantart.com that are just ridiculously good artists.
- therightclique, on 12/11/2007, -1/+4quit with the spam. it wasn't even that good of quality spam.
- luet, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2Those artists are not ridiculously good at all.

- pacdude, on 12/10/2007, -1/+17It could probably burn the Naruto fan hacks that *I* see daily on DA.
- Llanowar, on 12/10/2007, -2/+9Not just deviantart, there are some regular masterpieces on worth1000 for example too.
Now I'm nowhere near even the quality of those, but I have definitely seen loads better. - bjs3171, on 12/10/2007, -3/+10yeah. i do visit DeviantArt. I'd say these hold quite a few candles.
- joshcxa, on 12/10/2007, -2/+15haha deviantArt. More ***** than talent on that site. How about you try CGtalk
- Lennalf, on 12/11/2007, -0/+4There's "more ***** than talent" anywhere you look. Sturgeon's law, ***** :)
- Ninjao, on 12/10/2007, -2/+7http://blackeri.deviantart.com/art/The-Seven-Deadl ...
Look at his 7 deadly sins gallery.

http://radojavor.deviantart.com/art/La-Rochelle-64 ...- therightclique, on 12/11/2007, -1/+1are you joking?
- qualish, on 12/11/2007, -0/+6You *****, Ninjao. Look what you made me see: http://yuni.deviantart.com/art/Cancer-71813396 I hope you burn in hell. : (
- limoo, on 12/10/2007, -0/+13The competition isn't just about creating any random image, but an image using the source pictures they provided. The site is basically trying to promote its collection of stock photos for sale.
So considering those limitations, the results aren't too bad.- Lennalf, on 12/11/2007, -0/+5Thanks for doing the homework on that for us. That explains quite a lot, actually :)
- Urusai, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1I thought it was selling car parts, with all the alternators and such in the later pics.
- Myztry, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1The Weekly Walrus uses the same concept. A group of people competing against each other using the same source image. The winner submits the next source. Some are truly brilliant.
- joegibes, on 12/11/2007, -1/+1...or check out worth1000.com, a Photoshop contest site. Nearly every first-place image is amazing.
- stackered, on 12/11/2007, -1/+1im afraid to look... i treasure my mind
- strikerK, on 12/11/2007, -1/+1Its all about depthcore.com
that place has the most instense stuff i ever saw - Spoomeister, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2*snicker*
Keys to success on DeviantArt:
1. Take picture of self looking sullen, staring either to the lower left, the upper right, or over one shoulder
2. Crank one color way higher than the others and blur a couple of portions of the picture
3. ???
4. Profit - Spoomeister, on 12/11/2007, -2/+1*snicker*

- junosama, on 12/10/2007, -2/+6Yeah those guys really deserve the prizes they won, I'm sure they will put the prizes to good use!
- goggen71, on 12/10/2007, -1/+7My favorite is definitely the tribute to Auguste Rodins "Le Penseur" - or "The Thinker". One classic statue, and one classic work of photoshop art. A task so elegantly solved.
- adamchristopher, on 12/11/2007, -1/+3easy buddy.
- nickCR, on 12/10/2007, -9/+3Amazing how good these are .... what these guys could do with a picture of the office a$$ kisser lol....
- DonLinguine, on 12/10/2007, -1/+13Thanks for the mind job
- castlecraver, on 12/10/2007, -10/+150Dugg for the proximity of "blow" and "job" in the link title.
- badenglishihave, on 12/10/2007, -0/+8If I read the title of the article correctly, I should be seeing "Photoshopped Blow Jobs" right about now.
- TheOther1, on 12/10/2007, -0/+5Yea, I read it as "19 Midblowing blowjobs"
- therightclique, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1can they take place anywhere other than in the "mid" section?
- TheOther1, on 12/10/2007, -0/+5Yea, I read it as "19 Midblowing blowjobs"
- Lennalf, on 12/11/2007, -0/+3As I glanced over the title, my brain immediately saw the word "blowjobs." It's interesting how the human mind trains itself to look for specific patterns (e.g. phrases). I guess this is what happens after spending years and years of scouring the internet for porn.
- Wilson, on 12/11/2007, -0/+119 mind Photoshopping blowjobs.
Pics at 11.
- badenglishihave, on 12/10/2007, -0/+8If I read the title of the article correctly, I should be seeing "Photoshopped Blow Jobs" right about now.
- SaxxonPike, on 12/10/2007, -4/+35Did anyone else have to read the article title more than once?
- WeirdEdsel, on 12/10/2007, -23/+206Dude this stuff was clearly photoshopped.
- bs0l, on 12/10/2007, -5/+31It's because of the shadows-they're all wrong.
- pleasureman, on 12/10/2007, -55/+3It's because it *is* a ***** PHOTOSHOP contest, you imbecile...
- peagle, on 12/10/2007, -0/+49woooooooshhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
- mickcn, on 12/11/2007, -1/+1lol
- anagoge, on 12/10/2007, -4/+19What a moran.
- codered1322, on 12/11/2007, -5/+2Your retarded.
- adraft, on 12/11/2007, -2/+8The part of me that still has hope for the future read that as sarcasm.
- peagle, on 12/10/2007, -0/+49woooooooshhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
- brianbennett, on 12/10/2007, -7/+29CORRECT: The image was enhanced using Adobe® Photoshop® software.
INCORRECT: The image was photoshopped.- adventflux, on 12/10/2007, -13/+22007 called.
- xxNIRVANAxx, on 12/10/2007, -0/+22...and It said it ends in a few weeks, so that joke is still good.
- OhROFL, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2pwnd
- JT114881, on 12/10/2007, -6/+5Please don't bring that back.
- adventflux, on 12/10/2007, -13/+22007 called.
- badjokes, on 12/11/2007, -4/+1... haha you can't render complex 3-d objects in photoshop.. these were photoshoped but they were first rendered in other 3-d programs and then composited in photoshop.
too many newfags use the idea of 'photoshop' in the same way bush uses the idea of google as 'the google' or 'the internets'
- poptones, on 12/10/2007, -5/+14Welcome to City 17. http://www.crestock.com/images/contest2007/5044-2- ...
- Code1, on 12/11/2007, -1/+1Those striders have 4 legs! My mind is blown.
- MutatedNantuko, on 12/11/2007, -0/+4Oh god, it's the seven hour war all over again!
- JohnDavis730, on 12/10/2007, -8/+36'shoped
- MuffinPatrol, on 12/10/2007, -0/+19where is your proof?
- bs0l, on 12/10/2007, -2/+28The shadows are all wrong.
- FeartheKnighted, on 12/10/2007, -0/+17Maybe he has just seen a lot of 'shops in his day.
- chsbrgr, on 12/10/2007, -0/+20he can tell by the pixels
- FadieZ, on 12/11/2007, -0/+9You can't handle the proof.
- MuffinPatrol, on 12/10/2007, -0/+19where is your proof?
- ZachSka87, on 12/10/2007, -2/+1419 photos + digg > any server ever
- axiomata, on 12/10/2007, -2/+419? Couldn't find just one more?

- NicksVideo, on 12/10/2007, -1/+4http://209.85.207.104/search?q=cache:uG-LkIRhbWoJ: ...
- wickedhope170, on 12/10/2007, -0/+1even the mirror is slow! :(
- LowFuel, on 12/10/2007, -0/+6Is it really a mirror if the mirror gets the images from the original site?
- NicksVideo, on 12/10/2007, -1/+4http://209.85.207.104/search?q=cache:uG-LkIRhbWoJ: ...
- richoki, on 12/10/2007, -5/+2That's not a moon, it's a space-station!
- Klarth, on 12/10/2007, -2/+2Congratulations. You got the reference.
- SeventhSon, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1I find your lack of original conversation disturbing.
- SantaClauz, on 12/10/2007, -14/+10Photoshopped.
- griff36, on 12/10/2007, -1/+5and i thought the photoshop i did on my friend and don king was good......
- therightclique, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1it wasn't. it was far too pedestrian.
- nelsonuwp, on 12/10/2007, -2/+4http://64.233.167.104/search?q=cache:uG-LkIRhbWoJ: ...
- banmaster, on 12/10/2007, -6/+1What the *****??

- Lezlee798, on 12/11/2007, -1/+1It's because of Digg you see it at all!
- Sprules04, on 12/10/2007, -8/+3I've been following this photoshop contest since it started because my friend has some pretty amazing photoshop skills and has been entering into the contest so I've been rooting for him to win. Some of the stuff that people have been submitting is really fantastic and others not so much.
If you hate Bush, (who doesn't?) then the first round of entries has some pretty humorous takes on Bush's policies.
Link to the Round of Entries: http://www.crestock.com/blog/design/contest2007/en ...- adraft, on 12/11/2007, -5/+1its unrelated and I'll be dugg down to digg hell for it, but I do still like George Bush
- JohnnyThunders, on 12/10/2007, -4/+0Mirror?
- Zybergod, on 12/10/2007, -11/+2Obviously Photoshoped. Look at the reflections and highlights. This is just pathetic!
(ahem, sarcasm much?)- JustMatt, on 12/10/2007, -0/+2Sorry. Third in line it appears.
- matthewdestroys, on 12/10/2007, -1/+9mindblowing jobs

- joker10687, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1Of course you wouldn't mind blowing Steve Jobs you Mac loving freak.
- deezp1, on 12/10/2007, -1/+35Do we really need to tag pictures now that there is a image section. It seems redundant [comment]
- dualaudi, on 12/10/2007, -4/+2Man I thought it was just "PHOTOSHOP" art.... buried for inaccurate title.
- unravelled, on 12/10/2007, -3/+4whadafuxup with all the alternators???? like 1/2 of them have an alternator superimposed at some point
- zzz@tkz, on 12/10/2007, -0/+10They had to use source images provided to make their works.
- unravelled, on 12/10/2007, -1/+3ahhhhh, my bad!!! guess i should RTFA. talk about open mouth get buried on digg, yes i admit my comment defeat
- Tophillious, on 12/10/2007, -9/+1shoopd. u cood tel bi teh pixalz
- adraft, on 12/11/2007, -1/+2The third time it wasn't funny, but your twist on spelling made the fourth time a blast!
- merrickx, on 12/10/2007, -4/+9Browse DeviantArt for like 10 minutes and you'll find submissions better than pretty much all of these.
- CaptainEO, on 12/10/2007, -3/+7But you'll also find furries. -1
- zaldoe, on 12/10/2007, -4/+3very high rez working original link of the winner : 'not a moon' => http://www.sommerlost.com/notamoon.jpg

- joshuatree, on 12/10/2007, -1/+1Coral: http://www.crestock.com.nyud.net/blog/design/photo ...
- ArchetypeRyan, on 12/10/2007, -2/+1Nice photos, but almost all of them involve a city or a 'warped' machine. Where are the fleeing kittens, the domo-kun? 'tis a sad day for art.
- mtcool1988, on 12/10/2007, -7/+1Sites going slower then the bush administration is admitting there idiots...
- Easyoffbam, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1*they're

- joker10687, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1"Sites going slower *than* the..."
- Easyoffbam, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1*they're
- katrayun, on 12/10/2007, -1/+5Huh, I always considered 'Photoshop jobs' to be light manipulation rather than full blown pieces of digital art. Created and manipulated with Photoshop, yes, but it seems insulting to the artists - they made them, not Photoshop.
- Zoshchenko, on 12/10/2007, -0/+3Someone who is an incredible artist who happens to use Photoshop is very different from someone who uses Photoshop to actually modify photos. Creating original artwork is a skill very different from the manipulation of photographs.
- njcarlos, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2Mutually exclusive
- emilydickenson, on 12/10/2007, -0/+5lensflares are like OMFG so awesome.
- SHuisman, on 12/10/2007, -1/+1I don't see Bert Monroy's creations....
- CheeseburgerBro, on 12/10/2007, -4/+2Pfft!
Obviously Photoshopped. - Memnochxx, on 12/10/2007, -1/+6It's a good thing you told me [PICS], otherwise I wouldn't have known.
- grindmygears, on 12/10/2007, -4/+0The winner gets a macbook? What a slap in the face. They should've given him the much sought-after Eee PC. Now that's a prize worth winning!
- limoo, on 12/10/2007, -0/+0Yeah, cos everyone knows that the Eee is only 1/3 the price of a Macbook.
If the winner isn't happy with the Macbook, it can go on eBay and he/she can go buy a couple of Eees from the half-dozen places which still have them in stock.- IntensePuppy, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1Yeah everyone knows that things 3 times the price are 3X better. They make it so cheap because no one would want it, because it isn't expensive!
- njcarlos, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1It just works.
- limoo, on 12/10/2007, -0/+0Yeah, cos everyone knows that the Eee is only 1/3 the price of a Macbook.
- Ledfndr, on 12/10/2007, -1/+0did any one notice the multiple uses of car alternators? why were alternators chosen as sources?
- jworms, on 12/10/2007, -0/+0yes, yes i did.
- adraft, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1The rule of the contest says you have to use the source images in your entries. The source images are of strange objects to make it a challenge.
- 5plic3r, on 12/10/2007, -0/+2I think "Thinking About Picasso" should have won.
- xxNIRVANAxx, on 12/10/2007, -2/+1favourite:
http://intec-hosting.de/danjul/first_k2.jpg - IllBeBack, on 12/10/2007, -1/+20These pictures are REAL. I can tell from the pixels and from having seen many real pictures in my time.

- eyesmell, on 12/11/2007, -0/+0Damn it.....win...
- voodoochild461, on 12/11/2007, -5/+2BULLSH*T!!! I call Photoshopped.
